Is it still possible to get plumbob lamp rewards?

Hello everyone

I recently bought Sims 4 and I found out that if I register my Sims 3 games, I can get Plumbob Lamps with different effects. Is this still possible?

If yes, do I just have to register my games on my Origin account (that has my Sims 4 games) and do they have to be uninstalled before I can register them? Because I have installed all my Sims 3 games already (without Origin, since I have the discs from years ago), and I would like to not lose my saved games.

I am not entirely sure it's possible to get the Plumbob lamps anymore. I've tried to search on it to find an answer. All I've been able to find is the lamp rewards ended Dec. 31st 2015.

You may want to contact EA's customer service with your question to see if it's still possible.
