Diego is adorable!!! Remy is going hardcore for maxed Charisma with Great Kisser!
Haha, I confess that I Ctrl-Zoomed to get a better look at the walk-by mentioned in the Forewarning Alert. Nope, not recognizable to me (yet?).

Ooooh, the cliffhanger house! The green gnome, space print, mini-Yoda, the rainbow flag, and unbuilt rocket ship all scream "queer Alien scientist!" to me. :)
I absolutely love it!
Even with your awesome decorative modifications, the house doesn't look larger than 64 tiles. Is it?

I loved your idea from your first Bienvenue, where a household would shed its starter home for a larger house/lot as it grew wealthier, thus always leaving the small starter houses available to new households.
I'm very much looking forward to see how your gameplay changes from Bienvenue 1.0 to 2.0!
Great update!

The house is 63 tiles, so Tier 2. Although the gardening bonus is nice, I find the micro homes to be a bit too confining for more than one Sim.

No, you haven't yet met that walk-by, but you will very soon.

I am still following the plan to move out rather than expanding the Tiny houses. I moved in two new Sims last night so I now have the requisite number to unlock services. I doubt that I will add any more CAS Sims for quite some time. I feel like I'm set with the households I have and will probably wait for Gen 2 to do the bulk of growing the population. I may add households when I start playing unlocked worlds.

Excellent detective skills! The scientist part isn't right, but the rest *mostly* is. He's queer, but in a very queer way. </cryptic> :)

I like the idea of moving to larger homes and leaving the tiny homes for new Sims. The container house is great -- it makes me think of Edwin Pries. I'm curious about he walk-by, too.

The New Neighbor

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Last time, we were left wondering who lives in this quirky dwelling.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Elvis Pressley showed up on Sixam in my Power of 10 Dynasty. Yes, that is the name the game gave him. He had pink hair then, but since he aspires to a Military job, he thought black would be more professional.

Elvis hit the ground running--or Dreaming Big, to be more precise. Dream Big + Tiny House = Maxed Fitness in a couple of hours. Sweet!

While honing his Logic skill for his preferred career in Covert Ops, Elvis saw a strange light.

"My future's so bright I gotta wear shades." His home planet has an agenda of its own, it seems.

"Is it? Am I? No, it can't be. I HAVE PLANS!"

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

"Well then. I guess I'd better find someone who will move in and help me out. I'm sure Sims will be knocking down the door to live with the new pregnant alien. Yeah, sure."

Elvis, you'd better turn around and actually look at her when you ask.
"I don't want to."
Do you want to keep your job?
"Okay, okay."

Kierra hopes to move to Sulani eventually. For now, she gets started right away on her Mixology skill.

Next time, love is in the air and we meet some toddlers.

The update is perfect!!!
And Pressley is so very impressive that he even gets his Watcher to talk to him, lol!

So many questions about this houshold, but I shall patiently wait until their week comes around again.
Fr'instance, will they relocate to Strangerville?
Kierra mentions being on her way to Sulani, so Elvis is just a transit point?
Dream Big ftw!

Outfit inspired by Pollination Technician 9 (PT9) Smith of TS2 fame. PT9 is married to Jenny Curious, sister to the Curious brothers. Pictured are his and Glarn Curious's daughters, Lola and Chloe. Jenny is their half sister and stepmother. Pascal, Vidcund, and Lazlo are their half brothers and their step uncles. TS2 was so wacky.

The picture is from Strangetown Monty.

@oshizu

Yes, Elvis will be moving to StrangerVille. Kierra was a townie and Elvis’s only friend who wasn’t another playable. I haven’t unlocked nannies or daycare yet, so it made sense to move someone in even though he normally works from home since he’ll be working on the StrangerVille Mystery aspiration. Kierra and another family you haven’t met yet will be moving to Sulani as soon as I get it unlocked. Juan Ramos is very close to finishing Freelance Botanist.

I hope Elvis takes his container shack with him to StrangerVille!
Kiorra 's moving is with Elvis is a great idea. I like her traits, too! I hope she convinces you to spend a CAS point on her. :)
Haha, I guess she'll be taking the kids(s) she has with Elvis with her.
Elvis doesn't strike me as seeking the lifestyle of a single parent with lots of kids, hehe.

Oasis Springs and Sulani are certainly my favorite towns!
Anyway, I'm really eager to find out what all your sims are doing!!!

Kierra and Elvis don’t have kids together and, yes, we spent the CAS point. The toddlers in the post refer to those of other families, plus Elvis’s alien offspring, who is cute as a button. Elvis isn’t really into the ladies. Who he’s into will be revealed in good time. Oh, I am such a tease. LOL.

Haha, very sneaky!  I checked the last image in your update and note that the bush wooho happens on a different lot. LOL!
Yes, I will agree that you're a tease!  Merciless, even!

Here's an even bigger teaser. I was going to leave the names of families you haven't seen yet off, but I like teasing @oshizu too much to do that. As you can see, I am quite a bit farther along than my updates. This is because I am a horrible procrastinator and I lack self-discipline.  8)

Also unlocked, but not yet occupied: Forgotten Hollow, Glimmerbrook, Del Sol Valley, and two of the main worlds TBD.
The Spa is unlocked, but not placed yet.

@reggikko
Thank you so much for sharing your maps!  It's so much easier to envision Bienvenue now that I have an idea of where its residences and community lots are located.
Soooooo many family names I've never heard of, LOL!
And it looks like you're ready to start populating StrangerVille.
Haha, I felt a bit sheepish about greedily placing two Community Spaces but I see that you have four of varying sizes: one 50x50, two 40x30, and one 30x20.
Hmmmmmm... *scratches chin
I'm curious about how Community Spaces will work in StrangerVille since the devs have mentioned that StrangerVille and the vacation destinations have no Eco Footprint.
Will you employ them mainly for their amenties/skilling objects?

And I disagree--you are not a "horrible procastinator" lacking in "self-discipline."
I deeply apologize if my selfishness has made you feel that way.  It's just a delight to actually see what's going on in your Bienvenue world, you know? Sorry!!!!
We all have our own ways of taking pleasure in our gaming. The most important thing, of course, is that we are having fun.

Seeing your locked Library and Bar reminds me that Elvis is doing the StrangerVille Mystery aspiration.
Joker for the library?
Haha, okay, I'll stop trying to guess your current/future plans for Bienvenue and wait patiently for your (messages and) updates! :)
You don't need to answer any of my questions--I'm mostly just thinking out loud (hehe, loud enough for you to hear. *coughs)

My "lacking in self-discipline" is a joke, truly. You are not selfish! You keep me accountable, which is a good thing. :)

Yeah, I got a little carried away with playing around with Community Spaces. I know I am keeping the two in Oasis Springs, but won't add more there. The 50X50 will probably be converted to something else, but I'm not sure what yet. You know how much I dislike those enormous lots.

It's easy enough to complete that Aspiration without a library. Someone is in the writer career, but it's going to take a bit for that unlock. I do have several spare Jokers, but I'm saving them for now.

Do you know if Party Animal is broken? I think I've never had the various counters for parties and such tick off as they should. My Sim just held a Dinner Party at someone else's house and she didn't get credit for the Silver (Gold) Medal or the "attend social events at 5 different locations." I guess I'm just going to keep track myself and use the cheat to advance her, but it's annoying.

Oh right! Elvis only needs to mingle with some Scientists; he doesn't necessarily need to meet them at that library!
It will be nice for you to have a selection of Community Spaces to choose from once you've unlocked Evergreen Harbor!

I can quite lazy about aspirations. If the Party Animal doesn't expressly specify "party," I just have my sim go on a date which is shorter and easier.
The last time I completed Party Animal for my Sharebears, I could not get the silver-/gold-medal party counters to work, either.
I'm pretty sure I just kept track myself then used that complete milestone aspiration cheat.

When we were last here, we were left wondering who was in this bush.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

It could have been these two, but that's hardly surprising.

The result was intriguing.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And led to this. It seems there's a mystery man in Rosa's life.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

It was a whirlwind courtship.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

No Alec? What? Don't worry. Alec will return, but I didn't feel he was quite right for Rosa.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Well, what about these two?

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

They got married and moved to their own place.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Actually, they moved and then got married. See some faces you don't recognize? You'll meet them next time.

Besides adding new residents, the town also grew in another way.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Remy and Sylvia had a daughter, Clarice.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The Ramos boys, Diego and Enrique. They aren't twins, just close together in age.

Iris and Violet are twins and are the offspring of Rosa and Jean.

And finally, our littlest alien, Duncan.
