I finally had time to do a challenge again, yay! This was a fun one.

My simoleons at 8 am on Week 3, Day 1 = 71,572

My Sim made 35 unique upgrades, all on non-home lots. Multiplier = (35 x 0.02) + 1 = 1.7

Final score = 71,572 x 1.7= 121,672

I'm eager to hear everybody's strategies. Congrats to the high scorers!

Decided to give it a go in the end. did my best, but practices went much better. C'est la vie.  These are Harry Handimann's results.  I do hope I have done the maths right, as I always get confused.

Your math is fine, but remember it's not just the amount of your sales -- it's total household funds. Is that the case with the 34,978?

This brought back a lot of memories as the first tournament challenge I remember getting really into was in the Sims 3 when everyone was upgrading umbrellas.

Anyway, household funds of 202,953. Three home lot unique upgrades (0.03) and 42 off-lot unique upgrades (0.84) gives a multiplier of 1.87 for a total of 379,522.
