If all Money comes from woodworking does this mean no changing your lot to get money. For example changing wall height and selling the path to the front door.

All money has to come from woodworking. Period. Otherwise, we have to put in a million exceptions, right?

@Metropolis Man my brain keeps telling me that it's technically not making extra money by selling the decking just utilising our resources I will tell my brain that she is over ruled by my conscience and the challenge team lol.

I'm not sure how else to explain it. You're increasing household funds by selling walls, furniture, etc. The rule says "all income is restricted to..." So, that by definition means you cannot increase household funds via any other way than selling woodworking items.

This question confuses me.  Are we not allowed to build a home for our handy sim  in this challenge?

There are no limitations on spending money. However, the only way to increase your funds is by selling (through Personal or Household Inventory only) the items you have made on the Woodworking table.

Thank you both. The talk of lowering walls and selling pathways made me wonder if we were required to buy a furnished/unfurnished house.
This seems to not be the case. It is essentially a simple challenge....

The reason I asked about lowering walls and selling existing structures was because I often buy a pre built home and then alter it to fit my needs. Seeing as it's against the rules to do that because selling your own purchased property is considered making money I will have to build my own house from scratch. It looks like I am being obtuse but I did have a legitimate reason for asking.

Has there ever been a requirement in this challenge that we have to alternate between upgrading and woodworking? or was that requirement just in my head? By that I mean, do wordworking, can only do one upgrade, do wordworking, do another upgrade. I think it was just in my head, as I can't see any indication of that being the case, but thought I'd better check.

No, there is no rule requiring a specific amount of time or # of items between upgrading and woodworking.

Is the instant upgrade thing from an aspiration or is it a reward trait you can redeem? I rarely mess around with aspirations it's not my kinda thing.

Clubs are banned, only one unique upgrade per non-home lot, and making/selling different woodworking items each day.
