Grilling Hotdogs

I got the hotdogs out of the fridge, they are in my inventory.  How do I get them to the grill?

Just click on the grill to prepare hotdogs.  If the grill is on your own property, you don't need to put them in the inventory first - just click on the grill and your sim will take the hotdogs out of the fridge and start grilling.
