I am so jealous of these guys' house! The view is truly breathtaking! And also, you are actually making me want to play with supernatural sims 'cuz those tods howling looks like the cutest and the funniest thing ever!
I really hope to see more Shadow in the future because those ears are everything

Supernatural is so much fun. I've had it for like two years now and it seems like there's always more to discover. Supernatural sims certainly have their annoying quirks (my werewolves, for instance, seem to prefer being in their werewolf form, which is, like, fine, but also why?? You have such beautiful human faces???), but they're never boring!

Shadow (and her ears) will be back, don't worry :)

Quote
The twin weretoddlers are so cute, and I love the toddler howl they do.
I'd forgotten about that since I haven't played with werewolves in quite some time.

And blue-haired Vaughn is adorable!

Any chance for a sibling for him, either one with the blue hair or Rory's red hair!?

With this being the last gen for the TJ game, hopefully you've saved copies of all of them to share!!!???

I'm loving playing with the Kindle's in my Farmacy game!
Leonard (Diwan Kindle) Swanson and his twin baby sisters, Julia and Grace Kindle, are now elders, but they have some great looking kids, and grandkids, for Leonard.

I'll share some pics in the snap shots thread on the Forum and link it to this post when I'm done.

Edit: Here's the link.

https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=28396.msg508434#msg508434

If this gen's kids are already teens, then it's close to the end of their TJ journey! :(

That's sad, of course, but a great accomplishment! :)

Yes, Vaughn will have a sibling very soon! I wanted to give Rory and Krystal two chances to pass on their colorful genes, so I made sure there was room in the household for another. (Sorry, Nico and Ada.) And yes, I've been saving most of the Lovelands once they reach YA. I've probably missed a few here and there, but I should have plenty of them available to share once I'm done if people are interested!

And thank you for sharing that post about your Kindle descendants! I can definitely see Leonard in a lot of your Sims. :)

Yep, we're rapidly approaching the end of this RTJ, and as sad as it is, I'm also ready. I'm impatient to start my next project!

Quote
Everyone is so cute but the feeling of raising three toddlers at once is not. Yes I know you've done it before but did it take years off your life?

Haha! You know, it actually wasn't too bad this time. I have a very "ehh, y'all do whatever you want, I don't care" attitude this generation, so while I did make sure all the toddlers learned their skills, I didn't stress too much about it. Also having a million moodlet managers for the parents helped a lot, and four adults with vastly different sleep/work schedules. There was almost always somebody around to take care of the babies when they happened to be awake.

Chapter 145 - Not Sad Yet

Screenshot-87.jpg

You know, I didn't even realize the implications of this photo until now, many days after taking it. I just thought it was funny. But now...well, anyway.

Screenshot-88.jpg

Let's just fast forward to the toddler spam, yeah? Vaughn provides top-notch toddler spam.

Screenshot-90.jpg

And Rory provides top-notch father spam.

Screenshot-95.jpg

Krystal wakes up the morning after Vaughn's birthday and discovers that she's expecting again. Neither she nor I realizes at the time that she is in fact pregnant with the last Loveland of this Random Town Jump, which is why I'm not writing a sentimental caption. We are NOT SAD YET, PEOPLE.

Screenshot-99.jpg

Back to the toddler spam. Vaughn looks more distressed sitting on the potty than any toddler I've ever seen before.

Screenshot-110.jpg

Luckily, he can pour out his agonies into his music.

Screenshot-111.jpg

When we first moved to Bridgeport, several of the Lovelands rolled wishes to get a hot tub. Everyone's been rather stressed out lately with work and babies, so I finally give in and place a hot tub in the only spot on the lot it appears to fit--in the driveway.

Screenshot-119.jpg

Okay, I have SO many pictures of Rory staring at Hank??? Even when Hank is happily attached by the mouth to his wife. Rory was just coming home from work and happened to walk in on this, but gah!

Screenshot-124.jpg

Let's distract ourselves with more toddler spam.

Screenshot-128.jpg

This is when Rory was invited on a date by his coworker Lady Cook, and he went in order to make friends with her, and he found her stuck in some sort of eternal loop of cheering and throwing confetti and holding a blue balloon. And like. Huh?

Screenshot-134.jpg

Rory noped right out of there.

Screenshot-136.jpg

Krystal made more drinks. She's getting better! You can tell because she's smiling.

Screenshot-144.jpg

"Okay, Sid, can you say 'claws'?"
"Scawy cwaws."

Screenshot-149.jpg

Look at all these toddlers! Things are pretty chaotic around here. Everybody works and sleeps at different times, including the babies, and as the player I sort of have no idea what time it is in-game, ever.

Screenshot-158.jpg

What time is it when Krystal goes into labor? Um, daytime!

Screenshot-159.jpg

I captured the rabbit face this time.

Screenshot-162.jpg

It's another boy! I was hoping for a girl, but both Krystal and Rory wished for a boy. I'm glad they got their wish. And with that, the final baby of the Loveland Random Town Jump is here. Welcome to the family, Westin.

Screenshot-166.jpg

Yet again, Rory holds his baby like a too-long loaf of bread, or something.

Screenshot-170.jpg

Hey it's birthday time! The twins are aging up to kiddos.

Screenshot-173.jpg

Screenshot-181.jpg

No, you don't get to see Sidney in CAS yet. Tessa has to go first.

Screenshot-182.jpg

Screenshot-185.jpg

Okay, here you go. Sidney gets the Daredevil trait for his birthday. A true werewolf trait.

Screenshot-187.jpg

Tessa gets the Perceptive trait. Another appropriately wolfy trait.

Screenshot-189.jpg

Maybe Tessa should have gotten the Equestrian trait, because she literally spends her entire childhood aggressively riding the rocking horse. Ah well. She's got plenty of time to figure herself out.

Chapter 146 - Ice Cream Gripes

Screenshot-5.jpg

Vaughn might be the cutest toddler of the Loveland Random Town Jump. I'm sure I'm forgetting 97 other cute toddlers, but right now I'm just like, aagghhhhh he's so cute.

Screenshot-6.jpg

Here's Tessa riding the rocking horse, because as I said, that's all she does.

Screenshot-8.jpg

Here's Sidney emphasizing the wolf (dog?) side of his personality, because that's all he does.

Screenshot-22.jpg

Here's a picture of Rory and Hank gazing into each other's eyes, because I'm sure that's what you all wanted to see.

Screenshot-31.jpg

Tessa is low-key terrifying when she plays peek-a-boo with her baby cousin. Because she's actually playing peek-a-boo with ME. :o

Screenshot-33.jpg

I just have a lot of pictures of Vaughn being cute, okay?

Screenshot-37.jpg

Finally, it's time for Westin to age up.

Screenshot-40.jpg

Are you all ready for the last toddler reveal of the story? I know I am!

Screenshot-43.jpg

Well, what do you know! Rory and Krystal CAN produce a redhead...but not exactly the expected kind? Westin appears to have inherited the same random reddish-brown hair color that his great-aunt Ophelia got. Honestly, I don't mind--it's quite beautiful. Little Westin here is an Artistic Couch Potato, and his favorite things are songwriter music (what did I tell ya?!), frogs legs, and the color black.

Screenshot-53.jpg

Westin starts learning his toddler skills right away. What a cutie patootie!

Screenshot-55.jpg

He's definitely competition for his brother in the cuteness category.

Screenshot-60.jpg

That very night, there are more birthdays. Just as the four adults are heading out for a night in the city, Rory gets hit with the sparkles. How he managed to age up faster than his big sister, I have no idea.

Screenshot-64.jpg

Quinn follows just moments after. Something got wacky with their ages, clearly.

Screenshot-68.jpg

The kids are home with a babysitter - and with Grandpa Nico. He hasn't interacted with any of his grandkids yet because he's a celebrity, but for some reason, when Tessa asks him to read her a bedtime story, he agrees. And I just about die from the sweetness. (And from the cringe regarding his acrobat outfit. Poor Tessa.)

Screenshot-45.jpg

Earlier that day, by the way, Krystal rolled an interesting wish - to paint a portrait of Suki. It was the most specific painting wish she'd ever had, so I made it happen. I thought it was sweet, considering Suki is very old and this will be a nice way to remember her.

Screenshot-72.jpg

Krystal's timing couldn't have been better. :(

Screenshot-77.jpg

It's only the kids who are there to see Grim for the first time.

Screenshot-78.jpg

...And Nico. Who bursts onto the scene with great enthusiasm.

Screenshot-80.jpg

Why? Because he wants ice cream. Duh.

Screenshot-82.jpg

Well, the time has come. Farewell, darling Suki. You were an utter sweetheart and will be dearly missed. We'll keep some counterspace clear for you, okay? Come visit please.

Screenshot-89.jpg

The death of Suki is so distressing to Sidney that he involuntarily transforms into his werewolf form. I didn't even know this was a thing.

Screenshot-93.jpg

Nico is distressed too, for some reason related to his ice cream? I guess? Shut up, Nico. Nobody wants to hear your ice cream gripes right now!

Screenshot-98.jpg

Tessa undergoes the involuntary transformation, too. It just takes her a few minutes longer.

Screenshot-105.jpg

But I don't think anyone is more upset than Meelo. The poor thing, whether due to glitches (very likely) or his grief, pees himself for the first time since he was a kitten. :( I think we need to get this boy a new companion.

Screenshot-104.jpg

At least we have a cute toddler to make us all feel better. Even though he's sad, too.

So glad that Westin got red hair, even if it's a more random shade than Rory's, he's adorable!

Losing pets is sad, and seeing Westin's frown just makes it all the more poignant.

RIP Suki, I'm really glad that your portrait was painted, a really great remembrance.

Chapter 147 - Free Cat Love

Screenshot-108.jpg

Are you tired of the toddler spam yet?

Screenshot-116.jpg

Clearly, when I took these screenshots, I wasn't.

Screenshot-110.jpg

Meelo is still very sad after his mama's death, and there's a noticeable hole in the household.

Screenshot-121.jpg

I think it's time for him to meet Ada and Nico's cat.

Screenshot-130.jpg

Shadow has just aged up to adult, so she's the proper age to become friends with Meelo. The two of them spend a couple of days getting to know each other. Shadow is a shy cat and takes a while to warm up, but eventually, she and Meelo become close friends, and Meelo's mood improves.

Screenshot-144.jpg

Vaughn's birthday arrives.

Screenshot-147.jpg

And Krystal needs a moment. :D

Screenshot-149.jpg

She tends to get overwhelmed in moments like these. She doesn't even see her son's sparkles.

Screenshot-151.jpg

Ah, well. Vaughn grows up a little and gets the wackiest hairstyle, because his hair is blue and what else did you expect? Vaughn's new trait is...Loser. Great. The best thing he could have inherited from his mother! Aside from the hair. :-\

Screenshot-163.jpg

Now we have three schoolchildren in the household. Vaughn and Sidney build on their toddler friendship and spend an inordinate amount of time playing with dolls.

Screenshot-135.jpg

Tessa is a little aloof from the boys in the family. She prefers boys OUTSIDE the family, like this vampire kid whose name I forgot. I think he's a Hemlock.

Screenshot-170.jpg

Sidney, who apparently was particularly close to Suki, gives Meelo plenty of love and comfort in the wake of Suki's loss.

Screenshot-176.jpg

Rory can train people now, and seeing him do so is honestly kind of terrifying. He's such a dorky little guy, until you get on a treadmill in front of him, and then he turns into the Hulk. An angry Hulk.

Screenshot-179.jpg

Back to toddler spam. You said you weren't tired of it, right?

Screenshot-181.jpg

Right.

Screenshot-185.jpg

Meelo returns to Ada and Nico's to see Shadow again, and encounters an old friend. :)

Screenshot-192.jpg

Two of them, actually. Anyone want to guess at what Nico is protesting here? My only guess is free cat love, but why would anyone protest that?

Screenshot-195.jpg

Speaking of free cat love...things are progressing.

Screenshot-203.jpg

A lot. :)

Screenshot-206.jpg

The next full moon arrives, and Vaughn learns firsthand what it's like to have werewolves as cousins. I guess he didn't really notice when he was a toddler. Anytime he's in the room when Tessa or Sidney transforms, he passes out. The poor kid.

Screenshot-210.jpg

Hank gets invited to a party downtown, and look who's there! Penelope is still Penelope, in case you were wondering. :)

Screenshot-219.jpg

Hank also explores some of his wolfy instincts at this party. This is Bianca Rubble, the lady he bit with the werewolf curse a few chapters ago. (She's also his boss. I promise I didn't realize that at the time.) For some reason, I assumed the "Nuzzle" interaction would be friendly. I...do not know why I assumed that. :o

Screenshot-227.jpg

That night, Suki haunts the kitchen counter for the first time, as I always hoped she would. :D

Screenshot-215.jpg

And Krystal has her adult birthday, thankfully crisis-free.

Screenshot-230.jpg

These days full of children are passing quickly. I'm trying to enjoy Westin's toddlerness while it lasts. Look at those lil blue socks!

Author's Note: As of this chapter's posting, I have finished playing the Loveland Random Town Jump! I'm really eager to start my next project, so there will probably be a flurry of chapters over the next few days as I wrap this story up. Apologies for the chapter dump. But also, not apologies. :)

Chapter 148 - A Handful of Oranges

Screenshot-10.jpg

This is about how things look in the Loveland house right now. Lots of kids having lots of fun and learning lots of things.

Screenshot-18.jpg

I've fallen head over heels for Westin, just like I did for his big brother. I'm so glad I kept Rory and Krystal in the household. Their babies are just the best.

Screenshot-20.jpg

Krystal is a level 7 mixologist now and goes out to moonlight at bars a few nights a week. Here she is at the completely deserted "hot spot" that is Aquarius, her fanciest locale yet.

Screenshot-32.jpg

Even though the only people here are the other bartenders and a couple of bouncers, Krystal still makes use of the dance floor and the gorgeous view of the ocean from the rooftop bar area.

Screenshot-26.jpg

Meelo becomes an elder on the same night that an exciting notification pops up.

Screenshot-28.jpg

Shadow has given birth to kittens! It's too dark to really see them, but there are three little bundles of colorful fur back there. Their names are Kuwaii, Mr. Pickles, and Baby. I mean...I couldn't have picked better names myself.

Screenshot-36.jpg

Don't worry, we'll go back and see the kittens once it's light out. Right now, it's the twins' birthday!

Screenshot-39.jpg

For some reason I thought that doing the cakes simultaneously would work. Instead, Tessa gets her sparkles almost immediately, and Sidney (who's older and should have gone first) has to stand there grinning for five extra minutes before he finally gets to his candles.

Screenshot-41.jpg

Well, here's Tessa. She gets appropriately wolfy hair.

Screenshot-45.jpg

Sidney finally gets his turn, but of course something has to be weird about it.

Screenshot-48.jpg

Screenshot-49.jpg

Tessa gets the Dog Person trait. Awww! Unfortunately there won't be room in the house for a dog this generation, but we can certainly set her up well for a dog-filled life down the road. Tessa's other traits are Insane, Brave, and Perceptive. I have some trouble nailing down a look for her. In the end I go with these cute glasses and some printed fabrics that don't really look that good together in retrospect.

Screenshot-52.jpg

Sidney becomes something of an overachiever, adding Artistic to his Insane, Athletic, and Daredevil traits. Basically, he's a handful. An orange handful. (A handful of oranges?)

Screenshot-57.jpg

Okay, now it's kitten time. Though I failed to get a good picture of all three kittens and also I have no idea who's who. I thiiiink the one on the left with the big ears is Baby? And I'm guessing the one on the right is Mr. Pickles.

Screenshot-64.jpg

All I know is that neither of these kitties is Baby. I think Kuwaii is the one itching his ear. But again...I'm not actually sure. In the end, Baby is the one to come home and live with her daddy. Did I get a picture of this event? Nope. Will you see her again in the future? Of course! Gosh, what do you think I am, a terrible Sims player?

Screenshot-71.jpg

Anyway. Now we've got two teenagers, a kid, and a toddler in the household. Vaughn now has a monopoly in the Bedtime Stories With Nico arena. He uses it to his advantage.

Shortly after the teens' birthday, I get that popup saying that the adults have won a free vacation or whatever. Now, ever since a free vacation in the Middlemiss Random Legacy resulted in the untimely death of a beloved spouse, I have avoided sending anyone on these free vacations. For obvious reasons. They've only ever brought problems to my game. (In another file, the adults all came home from vacation with a running bug that caused them to sprint everywhere. Hilarious, but alarming.)

Screenshot-84.jpg

Buuuut it's the end of this RTJ! What's the worst that could happen?! (The untimely death of a beloved spouse, is what.)

Screenshot-85.jpg

"Hey hey hey! Wait for me, guys!"

Screenshot-86.jpg

So the adults go off on their vacation, and since Sidney, Tessa, and Vaughn are all at school, Westin is left home with the babysitter and the maid.

Screenshot-92.jpg

Did I mention that it's his birthday? I don't know why I thought Westin aging up with just the babysitter and maid to celebrate would be interesting. I mostly just wondered if the game would let me do it.

Screenshot-95.jpg

Well, it did. Sorry your entire family is away, Westin :(

Screenshot-97.jpg

Screenshot-99.jpg

He's just as cute as ever, thank goodness. I don't know if it's because of this birthday situation or what, but Westin is now Shy, just like his pop. I feel responsible. But at least he has these overalls to make up for it.

Chapter 149 - Impeccable Pecker Party

Screenshot-102.jpg

What do you do when you're a brand-new teenager with smelly armpits and your parents just went out of town for the night? You throw a party, of course!

Screenshot-104.jpg

A swimsuit party, naturally. Or maybe those are this chick's pajamas? I thought this was a sleepover.

Screenshot-107.jpg

There aren't a lot of teens in town at the moment, so it's a small turnout. But Tessa capitalizes on this opportunity to hit on some boys.

Screenshot-111.jpg

This one girl at the party is interested enough that she follows Sidney to his bedroom when he sneaks off for a nap. (Sidney, what's wrong with you?!) Or maybe she was just after a book. This girl is a mystery through and through.

Screenshot-114.jpg

Downstairs, Vaughn learns a bit about life and love by witnessing his cousin planting a kiss on Sebastian Striker out of nowhere.

Screenshot-119.jpg

Vampire Dude over there is not okay with this.

Screenshot-121.jpg

So Tessa gives him one, too. And Sebastian is like, "Ahh, how lovely!"

Screenshot-122.jpg

No really, look at him. "Isn't she a great kisser, Darron? Just an impeccable pecker!"

Screenshot-124.jpg

Darron does not agree. He flies off the handle a little bit. I'm pretty sure he's just jealous, but after expressing interest in Tessa upon arriving at the party, I'm surprised at this reaction.

Screenshot-125.jpg

Tessa goes back to the bar for another drink. Understandably.

Screenshot-127.jpg

"Boy, what a party. It's nice to have some peace and quiet in here. What are you reading, Sebastian?"
"A pregnancy book."
"Wow, rad! Wait, does kissing get girls pregnant?"
"I dunno. You'd think they'd teach us this stuff in health class."

Screenshot-128.jpg

The parents come home early, around midnight, as they always do. For a while they just stand outside the gate, looking confused.

Then the scolding starts.

Screenshot-133.jpg

"Sidney, I can't believe you did this!"
"But...you're not my mom? Shouldn't my mom be yelling at me?"
"Obviously, but she took a detour to the hot tub when we got home!"
"And how does that make you feel?"
"FURIOUS!"

Screenshot-134.jpg

"Wow, Tessa. You ordered pizza and you guys didn't even eat half of it? I'm so disappointed in you."
"Okay, but you're not my mom. Is my mom disappointed in me?"

Screenshot-140.jpg

Poor Krystal. She's so upset she goes to sleep in the wrong bed. Or did Hank? It's unclear. What IS clear is that Krystal is having really uncomfortable dreams about this whole situation.

Screenshot-151.jpg

The next day is Vaughn's birthday. He has a wish to skip school, and because I'm a nice watcher, I decide to let him celebrate his birthday first thing so he doesn't have to go to school. And because I'm a lazy watcher, I don't even give him a cake. Just cheats.

Screenshot-153.jpg

There's my handsome blue-haired boy! Vaughn gets the Genius trait for his birthday, adding to his Virtuoso, Friendly, and Loser traits.

Screenshot-163.jpg

Next I have these pictures of Westin singing karaoke. He's perhaps the most passionate karaoke singer I've ever seen.

Screenshot-166.jpg

And when he does the little pop star hip wiggle, I just die inside.

Screenshot-167.jpg

"Don't laugh. Karaoke is very important to me."

I believe you, kiddo.

Screenshot-184.jpg

At last, a glimpse of our new kitten! Baby joins the family and is not renamed, because I'm tired of thinking of new names and also "Baby" makes me laugh. Baby spends all her time investigating Hank, who is apparently a strange sim worth investigating. Gosh, I wonder what that could be about?

Screenshot-185.jpg

Vaughn has his first day of school the next day and has a really rough time. I've never seen a teen come out of school and burst into tears before even if I've done it a million times. That Loser trait really comes in with the punches. :(

Screenshot-191.jpg

Chatting with his cousins cheers him up, though. These three are actually really close friends thanks to all their time toddler-ing together, which just makes me happy.

Screenshot-193.jpg

To finish, here's Hank and Sidney practicing fighting as werewolves. They do this a lot. More than I would like. I don't enjoy hearing the sound of a fight and rushing over to see whose repressed feelings have finally burst through the seams, only to discover that it's another harmless werewolf spat.

Screenshot-194.jpg

It does make for some good screenshots, though. :D

Chapter 150 - The Taste of Anxiety

Screenshot-205.jpg

We have a new member of the household. Say hello to Ahmad Fong, our new butler who does nothing but start cooking French Toast a thousand times a day. (He gets over it eventually and starts fixing the karaoke machine, which is why he's really here.)

Screenshot-210.jpg

It's the weekend. Krystal needs to up her mixology game some more, so she lassoes her husband to help her out.

"Now, Rory, tell me EXACTLY what flavors you're picking up. Every tiny detail."
"I taste...anxiety?"
"That's probably the anise. What else?"

Screenshot-216.jpg

The werewolves of the house are doing well, in case you were wondering.

Screenshot-220.jpg

Saturday night is prom night, and to get their moods up, the teens of the household spend the afternoon in the hot tub. Sidney has a hard time keeping his outfits straight. And also climbing out of the hot tub. In fact, almost everybody seems to have trouble climbing out of the hot tub.

Screenshot-221.jpg

In the end, he decides to go in his athletic wear. Typical insane kid. Somehow Tessa manages to get herself into her formalwear, though.

Screenshot-225.jpg

Of course it happens to be the full moon tonight as well. Both werewolves hop out of the limo at varying geographical locations in order to transform.

Screenshot-229.jpg

Vaughn: "Wait, who are YOU? Where are my cousins? I didn't even see them leave the limo..."

Screenshot-231.jpg

Tessa just has her stuff together tonight. Not only is she wearing the proper uniform for prom, she also brought her motorcycle to take her the rest of the way to prom.

Screenshot-233.jpg

Motorcycle plus werewolf sprint equals quite an entrance, I'd say.

Screenshot-241.jpg

Back home, a quick aside: Baby is aging up to not-a-baby-anymore!

Screenshot-242.jpg

She makes a very cute adult cat.

Screenshot-246.jpg

It turns out to be quite an eventful prom for our three teenagers. Sidney gets into two separate fights over two separate crushes. Tessa is prom queen, spots a three-eyed llama (that's a new one), and, after avoiding fights for the entire evening, finally has her own smackdown right before the clock chimes 10. As for Vaughn, he wins prom king, gets into two fights, and becomes romantic interests with Joanna Bijou, giving him his second celebrity star. Phew!

Screenshot-253.jpg

Meanwhile, Krystal takes Saturday night to go out to the nearest hot spot and moonlight a bit. She's gotten pretty good at the tricks side of things.

Screenshot-259.jpg

But when her male clients order flirty drinks from her, she makes sure to sear the surfaces with a blowtorch to put the fear of Krystal in them.

"Don't think about trying anything, buddy."

Screenshot-247.jpg

Vaughn is having a rather more normal teenhood than his elder cousins. He starts practicing piano by his own volition, after clearing the dust off Josie's old piano from Monte Vista.

Screenshot-265.jpg

He also takes the girl he met at prom out on a date. Joanna Bijou is a lovely young lady and the two of them hit it off right away.

Screenshot-269.jpg

Before they even get into the theatre for the movie they're planning to see, Vaughn scores his first kiss with Joanna.

Screenshot-271.jpg

They not only see a great film, they also spend much of the evening making out backstage. I think I'd call that a successful first date!

Screenshot-290.jpg

Things are a little less normal for Tessa. She remains in her werewolf form more often than not. Somehow Westin doesn't find this terrifying when he's being read to just before bed.

Screenshot-282.jpg

Tessa also practices her fighting with her dad. She soundly defeats him, throwing him into the toy oven with such ferocity that Hank becomes one with the plastic oven racks.

Screenshot-280.jpg

Speaking of Hank, he's still, um, being a bit weird with his brother-in-law at times. Here's the deal with these two. I'm not convinced there's any actual romantic feelings between Hank and Rory. They've never flirted or wished to flirt with each other; their interactions are always friendly (and sometimes unfriendly). It's just that I keep catching them in slightly odd situations where one could assume that something was going on. Like this example of Rory playing fetch with Hank. And the many times I've found them talking in Hank's bedroom while wearing nothing but boxers. But...it's just a bromance. At least that's my take on things.

Screenshot-284.jpg

Of course, having an oddly affectionate relationship with your brother-in-law probably doesn't help things when you're becoming middle-aged.

Screenshot-287.jpg

Ohh, Hank, sweetie! You're the sexiest werewolf there ever was! You'll be okay!

Screenshot-288.jpg

...I don't know why I was worried.

Yes, Hank has a mid-life crisis and wishes to do terrible things like divorce Quinn and move to a new house. But the game has other plans for Hank.

Screenshot-295.jpg

Like the best Undercover Specialist outfit I've seen in a while. :D

Chapter 151 - Hot Tubs & Elevators

Screenshot-4.jpg

Can you believe it? It's time for the last baby of the Loveland Random Town Jump to age up to teen. He is in no hurry.

Screenshot-7.jpg

But hormones must hit us all sooner or later. Westin is forced out of his peaceful nap and into puberty, cheered on by his mother.

Screenshot-9.jpg

Yikes. Dreads on a redhead? I don't think so.

Screenshot-10.jpg

Westin ages up into a very cute teen and acquires one of my favorite traits in the whole game: Childish. :) He's just getting cuter and cuter in every way.

Screenshot-13.jpg

Speaking of cute, here's an update demonstrating that Meelo and his daughter Baby are doing very well. (Baby's on the right, in case you forgot who's who. I know I had to think about it for a second.)

Screenshot-19.jpg

In these last days of the challenge, the Lovelands spend a lot of time relaxing, partly because they've all been getting really stressed lately and partly because I'm worn out from controlling eight sims all the time. I let Tessa admire her sandals in the hot tub as much as possible.

Screenshot-20.jpg

Westin starts getting into cooking. Like, really getting into it.

Screenshot-25.jpg

Tessa has been going to Debate Club throughout her teen years, and towards the end she is elected president of the club. It's also at Debate Club that Tessa first meets and expresses attraction for another girl at school named Ariane Bell. (I love when Sims express same-sex attraction without my help. And this is after I made Tessa kiss a bunch of boys, too!)

Screenshot-32.jpg

Tessa invites Ariane over one evening and quickly discovers that Ariane isn't interested in being anything more than debate team partners. She rejects every flirt and leaves almost as quickly as she arrived.

Screenshot-35.jpg

At least Vaughn is having a good time with his girlfriend, Joanna.

Screenshot-41.jpg

They even spend some time in the hot tub together. Scandalous!

"Joanna, what are you doing?"
"Mmff. Trying to get out of the hot tub."

Screenshot-42.jpg

"Do you...do you need help?"
"No, no, I got it. Just...gimme a sec."

Screenshot-54.jpg

After the failed meeting with Ariane, Tessa returns with some relief to the company of her best friend Cathy Talon.

Screenshot-64.jpg

That night, Tessa decides to ask Cathy if she's single, mostly out of curiosity. That's when this happens. :)

Screenshot-66.jpg

Tessa's brand new Observant reward also leads her to discover that she shares a trait with Cathy. They are both Dog Persons. With that knowledge, Tessa is overcome with emotion and goes in for the kill.

Screenshot-69.jpg

Cathy seems to like this whole situation. :D By the end of the night, the two girls are officially a couple.

Screenshot-27.jpg

The adults of the household are staying busy. Hank reaches the top of his career, becoming an International Super Spy. I like that this is his disguise on the day he gets that last promotion.

Screenshot-52.jpg

Here he is in his actual Super Spy outfit. Much sexier.

Screenshot-59.jpg

Krystal continues to moonlight as a mixologist around Bridgeport. Aside from getting stuck in the doors of the occasional elevator, she's doing great and has almost maxed the mixology skill.

Screenshot-79.jpg

Now that all four kiddos are in high school, there's not a whole lot for them to do aside from, you know, go to school. They find their own ways to be interesting, though. Westin is perhaps the cutest of the four - as soon as he ages up to teen, he rolls wishes to become BFFs with his brother and with both of his cousins. You can only have one BFF, I'm pretty sure, dude, but thanks for cheering me up regardless. :)

Screenshot-76.jpg

And thank you, Rory, for leading the family outing into the Motive Mobile and scaring the living daylights out of me. (Ever wonder what all the Lovelands look like smushed together? Here you go.)

Screenshot-107.jpg

These rather unexciting days are filled with lots of karaoke. And I never really get tired of watching it. :D

Screenshot-118.jpg

Something exciting happens at last. Somehow, in some way, Quinn is already becoming an old lady. I'm as confused as you are.

Screenshot-120.jpg

LOL the fur coat. She looks happy enough, though, being cheered on by her many male family members.

Moonlight Falls and Bridgeport are the best way to end this so I can go townie baby spotting. I rank Joanna above the other Tom Wordy x Sugar Bijou kids I had anyways. Meanwhile Tessa's gay and crazy sides are truly the best finale to this challenge. :')

I can't believe we're so close to the end of this story :(, but I'm for sure looking forward to your future projects!
I can relate to Tessa and Cathy's Dog Person traits but those kittens are so adorable that I can't understand why there aren't any cat people in the family (if I'm not mistaken)
Luckily there's no heirs this generation because there's no possible way to pick a fave from these guys.

Hehe, I'm happy to provide some townie baby spotting! Although I did a terrible job of keeping track of them in this town, mostly because it's so hard to track anybody down in Bridgeport. Tessa's revelation was such a pleasant surprise :)

Thanks, butterfly! I know, it's crazy. I actually have the last couple of chapters ready to post tonight...I can't believe it. My next project is hopefully just around the corner, though.

I just checked my notes and apparently, the only Cat Person we've had in this whole RTJ was Shantell Alto, Colin's spouse from all the way back in Sunset Valley. ??? I really thought there was at least one more somewhere, but apparently not! Tessa is the third Dog Person, however - the first two were Valencia Newbie (Killian's spouse from Riverview) and Ophelia (Nico's younger sister).

Yeah, it's honestly quite nice not to have an heir. I'm enjoying just letting the teens all run around and do whatever they want most of the time. It's freeing. :)

Chapter 152 - Beginnings in a Bar

Screenshot-121.jpg

Guess what? It's here. The last chapter of the Loveland Random Town Jump. Bet you didn't expect that, did you? Well, I didn't expect to find Sidney dancing to Chinese music in his werewolf form when I loaded up the game, but here we are.

Screenshot-123.jpg

Suki haunts on this full moon night as well. Good to see you, darling.

Full disclosure: I had a hard time getting through these last days of the challenge. I found myself quite bored, and was continually stressed out trying to manage eight sims and two cats whom everybody kept trying to feed treats every five seconds, even when notifications kept popping up saying Baby is no longer hungry!. I would often spend entire Sim days just watching one Sim do one stupid thing.

Screenshot-127.jpg

For instance, Krystal made about 1,000 Crazy Drinks one day, and only the butler was brave enough to try one. The drinks were all foul and putrid quality. All of them. (This screenshot captures the butler reacting to the drink AND Krystal sneezing. Yes, my screenshot-taking skills are impeccable, I know.)

Screenshot-129.jpg

I think this is the maid that I forgot to dismiss after hiring the butler. Somehow she changed out of her maid outfit and into a long-sleeved shirt and beret, and then decided to take a dip in her employer's pool. She did not have fun.

Screenshot-131.jpg

The twins' birthday arrives, and, mostly because it's a Monday, I don't throw them a party. As soon as the sparkles hit Hank Sidney in the bathroom, I feel guilty. Sorry, guys.

Screenshot-134.jpg

Heyyyy, look who's been working out! After looking distinctly kinda weird as a teen, Sidney grows up into quite a handsome specimen with the same "help, my arms are stuck in my pelvis" glitch that his father got at that age.

Screenshot-136.jpg

Tessa follows in the foyer.

Screenshot-139.jpg

Somehow I never pictured Tessa as the miniskirt type.

Screenshot-140.jpg

Sidney gets a very quick makeover because there are so many birthdays and makeovers coming up and I don't want to spend twenty minutes on every single person's outfits. He still turns out pretty great. Sidney's last trait is Rebellious. His other traits: Athletic, Insane, Daredevil, and Artistic. Sidney decides to fully embrace his wolfishness and strive to become a Leader of the Pack.

Screenshot-143.jpg

Tessa ages up with the Green Thumb trait, adding on to her Insane, Brave, Dog Person, and Perceptive traits. She wants to be a Canine Companion and befriend as many dogs as possible.

Screenshot-162.jpg

Cathy Talon has aged up, too. She can't move into the household or marry Tessa, but Tessa meets up with her anyway and makes sure she's on board for the epilogue.

"I want to go far away from here, Cathy, away from the city. I want to play with dogs and plant plants!"
"Sounds absolutely insane."
"Will you come with me?"
"As long as there are dogs, I guess I'll survive."
"There will be so many dogs, I promise!"

Screenshot-149.jpg

Back at the Loveland house, Quinn is putting the finishing touches on her lifelong project, watched over by a sleeping Meelo.

A few days pass uneventfully, and then it's time for Vaughn and Westin to become young adults. I decide to age them up together, because they're ready, and I'm ready, and let's get this show on the road already.

Screenshot-172.jpg

Krystal has purchased Waylon's Haunt and is working on turning it into a fully Krystal-ified mixology experience. It's the perfect venue for her sons' ultimate birthday.

Screenshot-177.jpg

The Lovelands throw a party at Waylon's and invite all their family and friends, but nobody shows up, for some reason. It might have been too late at night. Anyway, it's just the Lovelands we know best watching Vaughn grow up.

Screenshot-181.jpg

Screenshot-184.jpg

It's gone! His beautiful blue hair! Oh yeah, ignore Romeo Smart-Rake dancing on the bar over there. (His last name is Smart-Rake because he married Matilda Smart. I laugh every time I see that name.)

Screenshot-189.jpg

Westin goes next. It's the last birthday of the challenge. :(

Screenshot-194.jpg

He's perfectly at ease. Perfectly ready.

Screenshot-195.jpg

Okay, dreads again?! Really?!

Well, here it is, folks. The last set of makeovers.

Screenshot-197.jpg

Vaughn, aging up in a cozy bar in a big city, decides that he truly is a city boy and that he officially Hates the Outdoors. Ah, well. He's also Friendly, a Virtuoso, a Loser, and a Genius. His dream is to become a Hit Movie Composer.

Screenshot-201.jpg

Westin takes a different route, deciding that the glitz of the city is a bit much. He becomes Frugal, in addition to being a Couch Potato, Artistic, Shy, and Childish. His Lifetime Wish is Illustrious Author.

And...we're done? I guess we are. We're done.

Epilogue

Screenshot-154.jpg

It's been a wild ride, friends. Bridgeport has been a lively and eventful final town for this town jump. It's time we bring things to a close.

Screenshot-204.jpg

After the birthday party at Waylon's, Quinn goes out to the backyard and looks out at the city alone. There's something she's been wanting to do her whole life. Something she's wished for ever since she was a child. And finally, she has what she needs to do it.

Screenshot-207.jpg

Quinn throws the Cursed Bottle of the Lycan to the ground at her feet and breathes in the purpley fumes that arise from the shattered glass. Her eyes glow in the night. All at once, she feels the supernaturalness flood through her body. It's done. She's a werewolf. As she was always meant to be.

Screenshot-211.jpg

Quinn has more than one elixir up her sleeve. As dawn breaks over the city, she passes two others to her brother and sister-in-law. She takes a third for herself.

Screenshot-218.jpg

The magic hits Rory first.

Screenshot-223.jpg

The sun has risen when it hits Quinn.

Screenshot-233.jpg

And finally, Krystal.

Quinn, Rory, and Krystal are all young adults again. There weren't enough elixirs for Hank to join in the fun, but that's okay, because his werewolfishness has extended all his life stages. He's got plenty of youth left as it is.

Screenshot-239.jpg

And with that...the Loveland Random Town Jump is truly complete. But I bet you're wondering what everybody gets up to afterward, aren't you?

That's what epilogues are for, anyway!

Screenshot-258.jpg

At this point, my file started getting really glitchy and laggy. Which is why this is the only screenshot I have of Vaughn working to fulfill his dream and become a Hit Movie Composer. But let's imagine that Vaughn goes out and plays piano in all the bars and clubs, mingling among celebrities and writing epic music for film scores. His girlfriend Joanna is also in the picture, although not literally in this picture, because she didn't want to come over at the time and I didn't have it in me to beg. Anyway, Vaughn lives a very successful life here in Bridgeport, and his scores become some of the best-known music in pop culture. He also makes a few cameos in the films. His blue hair makes him a rather striking extra.

Screenshot-174.jpg

Krystal completely renovates Waylon's Haunt and renames it Krystal's Catacomb. She covers the walls and floors with her street art and paintings, and is always happy to serve her husband, the rising superstar athlete. (Rory's career basically stopped progressing altogether toward the end of the game, but at least he got to to the level where he wears this purple suit and sunglasses.)

Screenshot-262.jpg

Now that she's young and supernatural, Quinn simply must return to Moonlight Falls. Of course Hank comes along, and the two of them get up to plenty of wolfy naughtiness. Will Hank run into his younger self wandering the streets? Probably. Will it be weird? I mean, everything's weird in Moonlight Falls.

Screenshot-263.jpg

Sidney also moves to Moonlight Falls, by the way. As an aspiring Leader of the Pack, he has to go where the potential pack members are. The funny thing is that, now that he's a young adult, Sidney's werewolf appearance consists of a different hairstyle...and nothing else. He just looks like a normal human trying to act like a werewolf. And it's amazing. :) I don't know what glitch causes this but it's now one of my favorites.

Screenshot-281.jpg

As for Tessa and Cathy, Tessa keeps her promise and takes Cathy away to the countryside - specifically, Appaloosa Plains, where there are many dogs. They adopt three of them, for starters. It's a happy house full of love and nuzzles. (The dogs, from left to right, are named Jimmy, Joy, and Morgan.)

Screenshot-286.jpg

And Westin? As the shy, thoughtful, artistic guy in the family, Westin is ready to live on his own and delve into his art. He also moves to Appaloosa Plains and spends his days painting the warm-hued landscape and writing about his heritage. His books about the Lovelands will take his entire life to write - and maybe then some. There are ten towns and eleven generations to cover, after all. At least here, in Appaloosa Plains, he is back where it all started. And if he gets lonely, he can always go and speak to the founder, who will have no idea who he is.

The End
