Do new elementals spawn?

I'm playing a rotational game with 10+ households on Normal lifespan.

Say I have a YA sim who summons the elementals, three arrive, and my sim moves in then marries one of them.
Five sim-weeks later, a sim in a different household summons the elementals.

Question: Will a new third elemental spawn to replace the out-of-circulation elemental?

I know I could test this myself in a separate file, but I thought I would ask here first.
Especially since playing 5 weeks each with 10+ households will take forever....
