Mystery invisible 3rd and 4th floors??

Hey all, I'm having some trouble in build mode.
I'm working on a residential build and- for quite some time, the game seems to think that I have a 3rd and 4th level when I in-fact only have 2 floors. When I hit the "floor up" button, grids show up for levels 3/4. Any ideas on how to delete them or make them disappear?

Do you have an actual roof placed on the home? I'm not sure but maybe that has something to do with why it thinks there are more floors. If you have not managed to fix it yet, and haven't tried that, maybe it is worth a go? Good luck!
