I'm finally all caught up! I really have been enjoying this. As for the chubbier sims, yes! Go for it! I have always had trouble having my sims gain weight even when I want them to (they are determined to stay at the bottom of the slider apparently  ). It's nice to see chubbier sims for a change. On another note, I never realized how unique Moonlight Fall's genetics are. Usually I go for Twinbrook when I want interesting genetics, but it's nice to see that they exist in Moonlight Falls too. Anyways before I start rambling I just want to say this has been a fun read all around and I can't wait until the next chapter.

You get so attached to the ones you raise in the house. And he had his mother's perfect nose and I am deeply shallow.

Having the sims get fat right before they get pregnant and keep it up seems to keep their kids chunky. So I'm very pleased I'm at least getting some chunks back into the town.

Moonlight Falls and Twinbrook are my favorite towns for genetics. I always come back to them because they have just so many of my favorite looking sims. Hetal reigns supreme though. I do wish I had managed to keep a few other lines around but that pesky town limit keeps me from living me dreams!

Love has been in the air around the house. Mother has been spending more time with Janet, helping her through the loss of her brother and best friend. Grandma is still as in love with herself as ever, Lucy and I are blissfully in love and Willie continues to capture my interest and my heart. Not everyone can handle being this lovable.

Even Alaric is feeling the urge for romance. His last fling was just that, a few dates, a couple nights at her place and he was ready to move on. It was soon obvious why she hadn’t held his interest for long.

It seems Roscoe, my half brother, had captured his attention. Which, not to be biased, but I think Roscoe is pretty cool. Alaric seems to like him too. And it’s fun to have someone to double date with.

It also felt like time to talk to Lucy about Willie. My feelings for her weren’t fading, but I love Lucy. I love her almost as much as I love myself! She’s amazing and perfect and she’s been that way since we were teenagers. I can’t lose her and I can’t give up Willie, so the only option is to talk to her about it. And lying to her felt wrong. That wasn't what I wanted out of our relationship, not like my Dad.

I went to her house and we had the talk. It was a long night and at first, Lucy wasn’t very happy with me. I had been cheating on her. But she had been feeling the same things I had. Not for Willie, obviously, but she had been thinking it might be nice to try kissing other people besides me. It opened up a lot of feelings for both of us.

We talked about kids and wanting to have loads and I talked to her about all the rules of being in a Dynasty. She knew most of it, but now came time to tell her the rest she needed to know. And she didn't run screaming! She really is perfect!

We wanted the same things, though I think Lucy is a little more excited about the whole parenthood thing than I was. I don’t not want kids, but if I could have had Lucy handle all that, I would have loved it. But as it was, I had to, you know, make one myself. And as I was an Adult now, it was starting to be time to think about that part of life. Gross.

In fact, the talk went so well, that well, it got me thinking. While I was going to be Immortal, I wasn’t there yet and time was passing. It seemed time to think about the next part of life. My other requirements were mostly handled and it was time.

I invited Lucy out for something special. I was ready for that next stage and I think Lucy was ready too. So I got down on one knee and promised her that I would love, honor and protect her the rest of my immortal life.

I told Willie about things as well. Not much phases her and she was thrilled we didn’t have to sneak around anymore. And she loves that she can have her freedom. I don’t need her to settle down with me and she refuses to settle. I think it helps that she’s got a long life ahead of her still, though she’ll get to stay vibrant and young for most of it, unlike me. I'll get old and wrinkly and stay that way, though I'll still be stylish and cool forever.

Alaric was having his own romantic awakenings. Things with Roscoe were going so well and the 4 of us are spending a lot of time together. I haven’t spent this much time with Alaric in ages and I forgot how interesting he can be to hang out with when he isn’t being an insufferable bore.

Roscoe is good at bringing out Alaric’s less brooding sides. Alaric is a lot more fun when Roscoe is around! Once they started dating, things went rather quickly. Alaric and Roscoe would spend hours together, talking and flirting. Alaric surprised us all when he invited Roscoe out to the graveyard and made his own proposal! I guess when he finally fell, he fell hard.

Obviously he had been inspired by my declarations of love. I am a trendsetter after all.

With all the hanging out the 4 of us did together, I can’t say it was that much of a surprise when Roscoe and Lucy started flirting with each other a bit. I was a little jealous at first, but that soon passed. Lucy was happy and that made me happy. And I don't think Alaric and Roscoe were ever monogamous.

Mom is of course, scandalized by the whole thing and refuses to acknowledge anything is happening. Whatever. I don’t care and I don’t need her to care. She can just enjoy being a prude with her husband’s former mistress. Hypocrite.

Grandma has also been on me about having the next heir. And I might as well get that step started. Plus, this way I can have the baby out of wedlock and that will upset Mom even more! I took a trip to the sperm bank and Lucy and Roscoe spent more time together. I can't say this is the part I'm most excited about, but it is a bit exciting all the same.

Despite getting engaged first, I was not getting married fat, so our wedding was happening second. Alaric and Roscoe made it to the altar first. It was beautiful and romantic and still a surprise for most of us that Alaric would settle down like this. I think old age was finally getting to him.

Lucy and I were both showing at the wedding, but I was a little farther along. As evidenced by my going into labor during the reception. Because I’m so generous, I made sure to hold off until after the cake was cut. Then I needed some attention on me for a bit.

Welcome to the world, Marie-Josephine Blackburn. Labor was a nightmare! Do you know how big a baby is?! Far too big! That's how big! But it was worth it to finally be able to wear my good clothes again.

Now that I was free of being bloated and fat ankles, it was time to throw the greatest rager Moonlight Falls will ever see! My bachelorette party! I left the baby at home with...someone? Grandma took care of all that boring stuff, I had a party to plan!

Willie gave a moving toast and nectar was sprayed everywhere.

The next day, while desperately hungover, I had planned to spend the day getting ready for the wedding. But instead I was woken up early to a frantic call from Lucy that she was already heading to the hospital and the babies were on the way!

Looks like the wedding was gonna happen a little later than planned!

Fun fact: I had to redo a ton of plans and throw out a ton of screenshots because I had originally planned on Alaric hooking up with someone else and had a bunch of stuff with that before I noticed it was LUCY’S HALF BROTHER AND THAT WONT WORK AT ALL. Not the first time this has happened to me. You would think with my large notebook of pollinating info I would be better about this. But no. I keep trying to make accidental incest happen but thankfully the game pays better attention than I do. But it does mean that some of this happened a bit fast because I had to pivot to another of the dudes around town, with a slightly less ideal age. But it all worked out, though I couldn’t quite make it totally incest free, but the two half siblings at least don’t, uh, touch?

Have I mentioned how much it pains me that transformed werewolves can't be made over? Because IT PAINS ME.

As usual, I didn’t take enough screenshots of the normal stuff. Will I learn? Probably not, but one can always hope.

And while he doesn’t really make an appearance in the story, BABY DADDY was moved into the house and followed all the dynasty rules. He just lived a very boring life, though it was a pretty good retirement besides living at the fire station.

And I meant to include these last time and I forgot. But here are the rest of the pollinated kids! I love them and I really should, like, consider letting lines end, but that hasn't happened yet. I am having way too much fun with it.

Warren and my perfect Charlotte had the stunning Chrystal. His other daughter with her went missing, though she's still on the family tree and aged up from a toddler to a child, but I can't seem to get her back with anything dynasty legal, so alas, she is lost to us. But Chrystal did become a vampire randomly, further proving that Charlotte is perfect and can do no wrong. Charlotte will also never die and I refuse to listen to any of the vicious lies that imply that she will eventually die.

Brennan Crumplebottom and Leeann Singh had twins Tiffany and Jebediah.

Also, from last time, the purple girl is June Maldano and her sister is Carolina. They are the kids of Brennan and Marigold. The boy is Bradford Swain all grown up, though not for long. He got culled not long after that screenshot was taken. I think that's all the kids so far?

Finally found the source of the rainbow kids! Jebediah's probably my favorite of them. And maybe with some luck your family tree will be broken enough for incest not to matter (ACTUALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND but you know how this game is)

I was getting worried about Giulia's heirmaking time since her love life is just bonkers. Thanks for assuring me that everything was HoF-compliant but I wasn't about to ask. For a bit I thought it was gonna be a couple switcharoo: Roscoe + Lucy and Giulia + Alaric but if you can make a third guy work...it works.

Ha! I just noticed I forgot to update my baby daddy place holder because I forgot his name. It is Rickie Rodgers, one of the Sam kids. And I think my family trees are starting to get a little broken. Giuliani's half siblings are getting a bit fractured don't always show up in the family tree.

Giuliani truly could not make up her mind. Stuff was very hectic at this point and it didn't really slow down until Marie is a kid. The house is always so full with pollinators and the like and I hate having to control so many sims (yet I both picked this challenge and decided to go bananas pollinating). All the rules are followed and Rickie moved in and stayed to his death. Same with all the pollinators. Still mad at Gladstone.

I had actually planned on having more drama with them but there was already so much going on with juggling everything and thanks to my super fridge dying, I made Lucy and Roscoe both learn some sculpting or painting so they can do museum pieces and also stuck them in the culinary career to earn me some fridges. And there just wasn't enough time.

I honestly should have used Alaric, but I really wanted to get Rickie before he went and he was already pushing it. I don't think he lived to even meet Maria. I'm very much a coward about bringing in my favorite genes because WHAT IF THEY DON'T PASS ON. But if I keep waiting I won't have enough heirs to get them all in.

And Alaric had so many flipping girls. Only one boy! Normally I would be thrilled at how girl heavy my town is, but the options for baby making can end up more limited then I like.

I like Jeb alright, but Erin and Crystal are my favorites. I think Erin is gold. I checked the vampire twins and one of them was gold, but I'm now forgetting. It's very hard to tell with that vampire glow on them. But Crystal looks exactly like her perfect mother, but then became a vampire, so even better. I do wish Warren had given me a boy though.

Oh Rickie! As with many things in a dynasty, "I thought he was dead" applied here. Well, dead before he could do his job.

I've never seen the fridges malfunction though that's just...unfortunate when you've already had an immortal do it.

I love cooking in games and I love having the fridge full of food did everyone can eat meals that suit them (I really love cooking in games okay!) and losing the fridge was upsetting! And I had two extra sims with no other jobs so into the cooking career they went.

I learned too late that the death bonus isn't worth it and they really didn't need to bother aggressively learning skills and getting the challenges. Oh well. Next time!

Rickie was really close! I really wanted to use him and it was literally now or never. He held on just long enough! A wonderful genetic donor who didn't hang out forever unlike SOME pollinators I could name

How old did Rickie get then? He was older than Vera for a while.

Oh and with Warren and Emilie's daughters, I have a good feeling about them being gold. Emelie is white as a sheet with no yellow undertones. I'm hoping to pair Warren with someone darker only so I don't have to play the guessing game.

I was honestly surprised he lived long enough. I had been planning on letting the relationship drama go on a bit more before the heir got started. I don't recall his age when he died, but I think he was over 110? Or very close to it. I had a backup in case he died, but the backup was, obviously, much younger and I was really hoping they would die fast so I could fit everyone in the house.

I know for sure one of them is, because I checked. I can't remember if both are though. And I trust your eye better than mine. I'm always surprised by the rainbow skin tones! I'm honestly very excited to see your pollinated kids. I love messing around with the genetics and I want to see some of the genes I didn't manage to keep around (COUNT T___T)

With the surprise arrival of the girls out of the way, it was time for Lucy and I to finally get married! I had been planning this for ages and thanks to being rich, I didn’t have to do any of the work to make it happen. My wedding was going to be an event!

I, of course, had spent several days making my dress and it fit me like a glove. It was a challenge sewing myself into it, but what am I if not amazing? I might not have my mother or grandmother’s...assets, but I did have some killer legs and I was going to show them off. And if you aren’t going to have killer shoes on your wedding day, when are you? They are real snakeskin too, caught and skinned by virgins in the moonlight or something! Custom made just for me!

Lucy, my sweet, fashion adventurous Lucy had a slightly less impressive wedding dress. But I suppose it’s hard to shine when standing next to my sheer brilliance and she decided to not even try. Still, she looked beautiful, she always does, no matter what she wears. I wanted to make her dress as well, but she insisted on wearing that...look and I am being supportive and also I didn’t have a choice in the matter. Which is unfair! I’m only thinking of her!

Grandma made the cake and it was divine! Some kind of vanilla cake with raspberry and lemon filling. Then we all danced the night away together. It was the greatest wedding Moonlight Falls has ever seen!

I will admit, the best part of the night was getting Lucy out of her clothes and into some I just happened to have lying around it her size. I have been waiting since we were teenagers to straighten out her wardrobe. She has great instincts, but struggles a little with the followthrough. And now that we are married I finally get my wish. And I might have spent some time creating a few looks for her to wear during the wedding planning stages.

And of course, we enjoyed plenty of alone time together that night once all the clothing was sorted out.

We decided to not take an official honeymoon, with the new babies and all. Lucy didn’t want to leave them and it’s not really a honeymoon with just one so I was staying as well.

Marie-Josephine became a toddler not long after we got married. She’s been growing so fast and there is usually a line out the nursery of people waiting to take care of her. Not...the most flattering hair color, is it?

Lacy and LaShawn weren’t able to live with us because of Grandma’s silly rules, but that didn’t stop us from visiting them all the time and bringing them over constantly. They also had an army of old ladies, parents and aunts to attend their every need. I barely haveget to spend time with them.

Speaking of tons of kids, Alaric’s oldest ones are teenagers now. They have some...unique looks. Alaric isn’t much of a dad, though he sends money regularly. Mom and Grandma are pretty involved with them, which I think annoys Alaric. I don’t think he likes the reminders that he has kids. Kids don’t fit well into his dark genius I guess.

Having so many people eager to be babysitters makes it easy to find time to slip away with Willie. It’s really nice to get away and get to be free for a while.

Before long, it was time for Lucy to age up to Adult. No longer my child bride, but she’s still stunning.

Lucy and LaShawn became toddlers as well. I love it when they fall over in the snow, it makes me laugh every time. They are getting so big!

The birthday streak continued with Alaric becoming an old man. I think it suits him. He’s always been grumpy and set in his ways and now he has an excuse for it.

Life was wonderful and simple for awhile. I spent a lot of time in the studio, Marie got her museum pieces finished and we spent time together as a family.

Time seemed to fly by and soon it was time for more birthdays. This time it was Marie’s again.

It was a little challenging to find children’s clothes in spice brown, which is her favorite color, but I tried. I think she looks lovely, though she’s started to whine about wanting more natural fabrics. I’ll think about it.

Her sisters were right behind with a birthday. The girls are inseparable, bonding closer now that they are a bit older. They can usually be found doing homework together or telling stories together in Marie’s bedroom.

LaShawn is a bit more of an inside child and we like to spend time together doing artistic things together. She really takes after me, don’t you think?

Lacy and Marie are far more likely to be outside, both of them are a bit wild and absolutely fearless. They love to run around and play outside together. It takes a coordinated effort to get them to actually come inside at night. They are obsessed with playing adventurers and exploring “tombs”.

Marie and Lacy are the best of friends, even closer than LaShawn and Lacy are, despite their being twins.

Next up was my birthday. I feel like I had just turned Adult, but it was time for that final birthday. One day, I will design better clothes for those of the elder population. I can still make this limited wardrobe work though. Nothing can dim my greatness.

After the cake, we headed to the club to have a proper celebration. I was not going to risk caking up into something atrocious in front of everyone. I needed to debut my elder look with the right pizzazz!

It was, of course, an amazing party. Willie was in charge of everything and that girl knows how to throw a shindig.

Marie’s childhood flew by just as fast as her toddler years did. She was always running around and playing with her friends or begging one of us to read her an adventure story. Or lecturing me about using too many synthetic fabrics or colors. Who hates color!?

Now that I am an elder, my Immortality is so close I can almost taste it. My pieces are being finished and I have long ago gotten the rest of the requirements out of the way. I just need objects worthy of me and then it would be time to step off the Gentle Path and onto the Immortal one. I can’t wait.

And now it was time for my sweet little girl to become a teenager. To take over her role as the next Blackburn heir. I really am amazing at this dynasty thing. Everyone makes it sound so hard, but I think they just weren’t me. Hopefully Marie won’t be too intimidated by my amazing success.

I thought it would be way easier to have the twins over more, but the game does not make it easy! I added extra cribs for them, but they couldn’t be put in them. Remodeled Basil's room for them and they kept leaving even after they agreed to spend the night. My game seems to be having trouble with spending the night, both at my home lot and when I would have pollinators stay with their partners. Lately they have been getting kicked out in the middle of the night even after they were given permission to stay over. And while I could not get LaShawn and Lacy to stay the night, but they were over a lot during the day, so it mostly worked out. It got a little easier inviting them over when they got out of childhood, but the game really did not want them staying over.

Also, I know things are getting a bit buggy because Giulia has an eternally faithful moodlet for Lucy. Which, uh, how? Lucy doesn't have it for her, but Giulia has been romantic interests with Willie for AGES.

I was getting a little burnt out around now and I feel bad that Lucy’s makeover was so poor. She deserved better than she got. Shame past Chubling, shame! I actually didn’t touch her hair because I wanted it to stay that dude style she’s been sporting, which didn’t work, but I tried. Until she aged up to Adult and then it came back! I just couldn’t change her clothes at all, which, fine! I can live with that. Though, spoiler, she had to lose it as an elder because I was not leaving her in the awful outfits she aged into.

Next time Marie-Josephine takes over! Hopefully Giulia has been an enjoyable read! Speaking of being burnt out, I was...awful at taking screenshots for Marie. I missed just….whole chunks of things. Like so far I think I have managed to not take a single shot of any of her birthdays? Which normally I have like 5 shots of the candles getting blown out (but none of anyone interacting with anyone because why would those screenshots be useful? TO THE SHAME CORNER PAST CHUBLING!)

But I stopped playing when she hit YA and I’ve had a nice, long break so hopefully I will be much better about screenshots for her. Fingers crossed!

Though I had to go through a lot of archived web pages for this so this is on the "dude, trust me" honor system: Boop and the archived page full of male -> female hair conversions but the grueling task of finding the Mediafire links is there. There's a potential impending CC apocalypse when it comes to inactive Mediafire files so I may just have a working download mirror soon.

I love Marie's looks, she's definitely in forest elf territory and Samuel's natural hair color came through after all. And unlike other Sam kids, she looks her age.

I was really disappointed Rickie didn't pass on his bone structure. I was really hoping it would break up there little round faces a little, as my family is looking a little...similar. At least he passed on his eyes and hopefully that is the last of the Ivy eyes, but still. I really wanted my old looking Immortal! I still love her and her looks are totally fine, I did get the Fitzgerald nose again, so that's something I guess.

I had a really hard time with Marie's outfits and, as mentioned, was very burned out. I'm not totally happy with them, though part of that I haven't had the strongest voice for her yet, which was part of why I made myself stop playing the dynasty until I caught up with my posting. While she didn't get the Rainflower eyes, her face is...a struggle to find hairs that flattered her.

Spice brown's actually one of my favorite colors to work with because of how well it goes with blue, teal, and green. Plus Marie probably does need some contrast against her hair and skin. Funny enough she kind of reminds me of Hetal and Alaric with those almost-glowing eyes and looking vaguely evil and intense. Not as much as Ellen does though.

I actually love spice brown. The color hadn't been the problem, it was not really knowing her vibe that got me. And I had a little too much fun messing around with her supermax I never quite figured her out. But was still playing and it is very much biting me in the butt as I'm forced to stare at her clothes that I hate. How dare I experience the consequences of my own actions!
