Just thought you'd all like to know that Jill Mye is doing well. I also thought you should be aware that a very useful piece of technology she made and had to name was called Bill Nye. You're welcome.

Despite all the test-runs Billy Knight still only managed to get to level 5 of her career and tested 5 tainted serums, 5 inventions and 3 upgrades.

50x1.18 = 59

This seemed deceptively easy at first but I couldn't find any way to improve my result, so looking forward to the strategies after this is over.

My sim, Dee Enay (get it -DNA! lol) had the following score:

Level 5 science career (50)
1 + 5 inventions and 3 upgrades + 5 tainted serums

Total: 59

This was a tough 2 weeks for her and hard to get promoted in the Scientist career, even with doing everything during the shift.

I'm joining the 59 club with my first completed challenge of the year! I really enjoyed playing the scientist career, which I've never done before.
Level 5 science career, 5 tainted serums, 5 inventions, 3 upgrades. Total score of 59.
I have no idea how anybody could have done it quicker, so am really interested to read the strategies.

Well, I am pleased to advise that I'm not joining the 59 club.

So you guys are no longer at the bottom!

Jill Mye managed to catch herself on fire once.

She also managed to set fire to a piece of scientific equipment.

She also managed to get herself abducted.

But! Jill managed to get herself put out AND put out the equipment.

Jill achieved the following:
Level 4 Science Career
4 Tainted Serums created and used
4 Inventions created and used
2 Inventions upgraded and used
Total score 45.6.

I got a couple of fun snaps along the way, one involving Vlad the Lad and one of Jill Mye.

Well, that did not really go as planned…

Nellie Neutron reached level 6 of the Science Career, created & tested (on others, of course) 6 tainted serums, created & used 5 inventions, and completed & used 4 upgrades.

60 X 1.21 = 72.60

Neil Degrasse Tyson finished up about the same time as Nellie Neutron, but Neil pulled off one more upgrade. ;)

Career (60) X 1.22 = 73.20

Fun challenge. Lots of scores coming in this week. Neil found out Bill Nye was hosting this challenge and they both got a good laugh out of that fact...

Michelle Curie picked up 59 points, 50 from reaching level 5 of the career, .1 from tainted serums, and .08 from inventions and upgrades.

Great picture of Bill Nye and Neil DeGrasse Tyson!

Okay so
Science level 60
multiplier 1.2

score 72.6

Rachel

Rachel, I get 72.0 for your score. Double check your multiplier breakdown -- serums/inventions.

5 tainted serums 0.10
6 inventions 0.06
5 upgrades 0.05
base multiplier 1.0
1.21 multiplied by 60  total 72.6

I think I added it up right.
