Round 1.9.  Diop (Household #9)


Sunday (Spring)

Once the clock strikes eleven, my week begins.
I live in a 30x20 lot in Parched Prospect, across from the Rizzos.


My name is Binta Diop and this is my first foray out of Watcher's Library.
My family name is pronounced "Jop" as in Janis Joplin.
As you can see, my random traits aren't particularly wonderful.
I have the Active trait but don't plan to join a fitness-related career.

In fact, I'm thinking of becoming an Administrator in the Education career.


I'm not big on the solitary life. Let me check my friends.
Maybe I could convince one of them to be my roommate?

We all know that Zeke is off-limits but I'm also very friendly with Patrick.
It's late but I'll give him a call.


As soon as Patrick walks in the door, I ask him to be my BFF.
When I ask him to move in, I know what his answer's gonna be.


Patrick explains that he likes Laurent and Dolores well enough.
But he'd rather not live with them.
Laurent is Self-Absorbed and Dolores is a Goofball…need I say more?

Patrick only brings $5k with him when he moves in, but I'm sure we'll be fine.


I envy Patrick. He knows exactly what his future looks like.
He wants to bring responsible journalism to Belmondo.

Did you notice we're both Music Lovers? 
And he's easy on the eyes, too.


Monday

One thing leads to another and, before we know it, we're engaged! *coughs
We buy our own wedding arch, then decide to try "something" before tying the knot.


Patrick asks if he can assume my family name.
You can imagine how much that thrills me! We're the Diops!


Wednesday

Patrick joined the Writer career last night but won't work until Thursday.
For now, he's focusing on writing novels and collecting postcards.
Every household should have at least one collection, don't you think?


I go into labor while tending the garden.
It's a girl and we name her Aisha.

After breastfeeding Aisha, I call Patrick over.
Aisha wants a little brother, I just know she does!




Thursday

My life: Everything else. No kidding!

I need to max Research & Debate to unlock the Educator career, but it's not easy.
You see, Patrick needs to be Very Inspired for work and writing.
But I should be Very Focused to learn Research & Debate faster.


Friday

Patrick's off to work and I'm having a crazy morning!
When I go into labor, I realize that I'd missed Aisha's birthday notice.

So I age her up first, then have a baby immediately after in the same bassinet.
Thanks to 18 carrots, I give birth to a little boy. His name's Idrisa ("Idi" for short).


Patrick surprises me with a gift: an Electromagnetic Research Archive Machine.
It's an extravagant purchase but Patrick wants to show his appreciation. Awwwww.
My Research & Debate skill is nearly Level 8 tonight.
I might be able to max it this week, since Patrick's off this weekend.


Laurent: Would you consider losing your librarian buddy to live with me, Ava?
Ava: Akito is a Neat, Cheerful Bookworm while you are a Materialistic, Self-Absorbed Geek.
Why would I dump him to be with you?

Laurent: Um, because our hot-weather outfits match and I'm better-looking?
You mind if I run the idea by our Watcher, Ava?
Ava: If you must.  (I do love me some bad boy…)


Akito: This is a nightmare! Have sensitive nice guys fallen out of vogue?
Whatever. I'll just keep being me.
Surely, Watcher realizes that Ava and I make the better match.
Anyway, I refuse to budge.


Saturday

Watcher misses the moment when I max Research & Debate.
That's because Aisha has been running around in a filthy green haze.

I've unlocked the Education career but will wait to get a job.
Maybe after Idi maxes all his toddler skills.



Sunday

Idi's a toddler now so we visit a few a few homes to prepare for a toddler play date.
We miss the Rizzo kids because we arrive just as the parents leave for work.

We're so glad we tried for a second child!
Aisha has my hair color but Patrick's blue eyes.
On the other hand, Idi has Patrick's brown hair and my green eyes.


Just another hour until The Switch!
I'm upgrading a new Digitalistic Sketchpad as a gift for Dolores Silva.
Laurent's being a bit of a jerk, but I'm sure he and Dolores will end up together.

Our neighbors, the Rizzos, started this tradition, I believe.
The sketchpad's a quick way to save up for the kiddy stuff and home renovation.
Of course, I no longer paint since Patrick's publishing royalties are rolling in now.


You never got to see our house in the daylight. Sorry!
It's a color variation of the Berra/Costa casita, except on a 30x20 lot.

We've kept the side patio as is, and added an additional 8x4 tiles on the right side.
It's simply a rectangular house but, hey, it works for us!.


As you can see, Patrick and I only unlocked one career opening each this week.
I'd hoped to max Charisma, but decided to support Patrick instead.
He's almost done with his Best-Selling Author aspiration.

Watcher really wants one more settler, though, so we're all counting on Dolores (who's outgoing).


Well, we had a pretty typical week, apart from our toddlers who are exceptionally lovely.

Sunday (Spring)

Another new week, another new house in the darkness.
We've arrived at Sultry Springside in Skyward Palms.
This is where Laurent Ernst and Dolores Silva reside.


Dolores: So now you're all over me. What happened? Aya refused you, eh?
Laurent: Oh please, I was just pretending to like her.
Dolores: Oh really? And why would you do that?

Laurent: A guy's gotta play hard to get, since you're Non-Committal. Did it work?
Dolores: Maybe…just a little. (Definitely, A LOT!)


Monday

Where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself.
You've already heard my name but you don't know about my future career.

I'm planning to join the Internet Personality branch of the Social Media career.
As for my aspiration, I haven't decided but I'm starting with Computer Whiz.
World-Famous Celebrity, perhaps?


My roommate Dolores Silva also enjoys being in the spotlight.
She's made definite plans: to do the Joke Star aspiration and become a Comedian.

What do you think of her traits, people?
Her Non-Committal trait poses a bit of a challenge, yes?


Laurent: First I ask you to be my BFF and you say yes.
Next, I propose to you but you say no. Now I'm 'sposed to accept your proposal?

Dolores: Heck yeah. You should've known better than to propose first!
I'm Non-Committal, remember?  Yay, we're engaged!


Laurent: Hey, Reaper Gnome, do you mind?
I know it's your big holiday and all, but how about a little privacy?
Maybe you could wait in another room for your piece of pie?


Dolores just found out she's pregnant, so she's taking a rest.
Since I'm a Geek, I make quick work of the Decorative Egg Collection.


After I set up a wedding arch, Dolores and I get married.


Now I'm just Dolores's ole ball and chain!
Clink, clank, rattle, rattle!


Everyone thought Dolores would be the first to max Charisma.
But my Charisma was higher than hers when this week started.

Combined with Zeke Zouk's Nerd Brain aspiration, my maxed Charisma earns a Joker.
I roll a six!


Around 11 am, I spot two sassy neighbors strolling my way: Sofia Costa and Leilani Mahalo.
Leilani brings a fruitcake. They must be the Welcome Wagon!


Dolores meets Leilani and the Costas for the first time.
Akito Suzuki alos shows up, but I'm not sure if he's part of the Welcome Wagon or not.


So, Dolores and I both need to max Comedy to unlock our career branches.
After writing jokes on a laptop, I become hysterical and frantically try to calm down.

I thought writing jokes and comedy routines would be safer than using the microphone.
But I guess not. I have one more option…skill books!


Wednesday

In the morning, Dolores gives birth to twins.
Dolores gives our daughter a Brazilian-Portugues name: Dalila. (Dah-lee-la).
I give our son a French name: Lucien.


After reading two Comedy Vol. 1 books and one Comedy Vol. 2 book, I'm barely Level 5.
I consult our Watcher who agrees to change the requirement for my career branch.

The Level 8 Internet Personality promotion requires:
*10 million followers
*L7 Video Gaming, L6 Charisma, and L5 Comedy or Mischief.
Sooo, the revised unlock for my branch is now L10 Video Gaming. Hallelujah!


Thursday

In the morning, Marlon Mahalo the Navigator phones me while I'm gardening.
Marlon: Thanks to your maxing Charisma, Belmondo now has a new household!
Laurent: Great news! Where in Oasis Springs? Bedrock Straits or Parched Prospect?

Marlon: It's a Hawaiian fella, Kai, and his flatmate, Shannon, so I've placed them in Sulani.
Here's their address, Laurent. Go welcome them to Belmondo, yeah?
Laurent: Sure thing, Marlon. We'll go introduce ourselves then invite them over.


Friday

Early Friday morning, our twins age up to toddlers!
Would you agree that Dalila resembles me, while Lucien takes after his mother?


I forgot to mention that Dalila is a Wild child.

Late that night, I finally max Video Gaming, so I sign up for the Social Media career.
Luckily, I don't start work until Monday!


Saturday

I run into Mie Rick downtown. She's a Rank 3 celebrity, while I'm still only Rank 1.
She's all right, though. She lets me introduce myself and even agrees to a selfie.

Times like this… (*glances around to make sure Dolores is out of earshot)
I almost wish I were doing the Serial Romantic aspiration.


I hear from Patrick that Akito and Ava are nearly broke.
Dolores and I had been planning to make a $20k donation to Belmondo this week.

Instead, we agree to make a $10k donation, after giving our next-door neighbors a gift of $10k.


I've been upgrading our Murphy Bed as my Handiness skill increases..
Still two more upgrades to go!


Sunday

I maxed my Video Gaming skill on Friday night.
And Dolores maxes her Comedy skill this morning.
Nice!
Dolores phones in right away to join the Entertainer career.


It's 10 pm and I've just put the twins to bed.
Only another hour until The Switch.
So I sit down at my computer to update my social media status.

Suddenly, I'm drawn outside by the sound of strange music.


Oh, Watcher! Please, no!
I know I mentioned a passing interest in the Serial Romantic aspiration.
But I was NOT referring to Senior Pollination Technician #3.
Heeeeelllllpppp!


Watcher: Good gracious, not  my Laurent! Is it because Laurent maxed the Logic skill?
Let's switch households at 11 pm as planned.
Maybe Laurent can't get  impregnated if he's not in the active household. *crosses fingers

*Laurent Ernst and Patrick Francois: As mentioned several updates ago, these two sims are the creation of the French simmer 12mich06.
  They come pre-skilled on the Gallery, so I made fresh clones of them.
  They've been in my library for several years now, so I'm glad to finally play them in active households.

*Dolores Silva: My original plan was to play Brytani Cho (who I just love).
  Since she's an adult, I simply gave her traits, aspiration, and career to my own sim, Dolores.

*Social Media/Internet Personality branch: I believe L10 Video Gaming is a more reasonable requirement since I absolutely loathe leveling the Comedy skill.
  That is, I hate when my sims suffer Death by Hysteria.

*Alien abductions: Among nine households so far, four have had a YA sim abducted by aliens (1 female and 3 males).
  What is with all the abudctions?

Before I forget (again), I want to share a photograph of the house that inspired one of my Belmondo models.
I ran across this photo a few weeks ago while browsing the Web.


Here's another look at the Berra/Costa home in Belmondo.  The Diop house is exactly the same except iboth its exterior and fencing are a shade lighter.

Oh my gosh those toddlers are adorable!!  I can't even pick a favorite at this point!
Laurent got what was coming to him in a glorious bit of poetic justice.  He was acting more non-committal than his non-committal bride!  I know you don't want another alienboo (or at least not for your Laurent), but I think alienboos are the best...and I'm super jealous that I've played through six weeks of rotation (seven weeks total) in Behrtopia and have not had a single abduction!  The aliens are too focused on Belmundo to notice me  :=(

In Belmondo, the aliens seem to be targeting sims with maxed Logic skill (like Leilani Mahalo and Takumi Tasaki) or sims who are good friends with one of the Zouk aliens (like Fetu Kahale and Laurent).
What about adding an alien couple to Behrtopia?

Haha, don't be too hard on Laurent. I gave him the Self-Absorbed trait which I've never played before and am trying to write him accordingly.
That bit with Mie Rick is a bit of a joke, since she's modeled after a friend who I thought would get a laugh at Laurent acting like that.
When he got abducted, though, I thought, "Well I did kinda want to see what kind of children he'd have with other sims, but not like this."

All toddlers in The Sims 4 are adorable. Children,too. It's when they age up to teens that some turn out not as adorable as others, lol

Round 1.11.  Hauer (Household #11)


In the small navy house at Granada Place, which is next door to the Ernsts, a new week begins.

Monday (Spring)

Ava: We actually start our week after midnight of Monday instead of Sunday at 11 pm, nearly 90 minutes late.
Can you believe Watcher changed her mind and made us wait until Laurent's return from the UFO?
Akito: No that surprising, really.  Still, he looked pretty rattled!


Ava: He landed on this feet, too, which might mean...
Akito: Senior Pollination Technician #3's thirst for Belmondo men remains unquenched!
Ava: Add Laurent to our club, Akito, so we can keep an eye on him..
Akito: Do you think it's contagious?  *shudders


Ava: Akito, do you mind terribly if I narrate this week?
Akito: Not at all. You know me! I'm a bit of an introvert.
Ava (to herself): Mother was right! It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for!


One of the downsides of Tiny Living is that it's hard to find a good spot for a proposal.
But the two of us squeeze into the narrow kitchen and Akito asks for my hand.
Then, we agree it's time to test our new Murphy Bed by trying for baby.

Akito looks disappointed when I share the Big News after one try.
He confesses that he was hoping for a little more practice. Right.


Here's our little home.
If it looks familiar, that's because it's just like the Ernst home but in darker tones.
Its floor plan is easily expandable from a Micro House to a Tiny House.


My name's Ava Hauer, originally created for one of Watcher's tournament challenges.
Since I shall become a spellcaster, Floral Designer seems like a good career choice for me.

When you see Akito's aspiration and traits, you'll understand why we're so well matched.


In another of Watcher's tournament challenges, Akito was the townie Librarian at Britechester's Laurel Library.
Those are his original traits. his Neat trait perfectly complements my Slob trait!

Now that he's chosen the path of Warlock and Food Critic, though, he needed a makeover.
With his bronze skin and new hairstyle, he looks so handsome. And I love that he's Chopstick Savvy! .


We spend the day planting our garden and looking for Spotted Dirt Frogs at the park.
The hours pass so swiftly, we decide to simply get married at home.


Tuesday

Even though it's our week, Watcher has Akito visit Laurent next door today.
Yesterday, we'd hear odd music and see Laurent's tummy sparkling.
Today, it's pretty obvious that he's pregnant!

You're wondering why he's out by the lake in his briefs?
Well, Watcher wanted to see Laurent's tummy
So Akito had to ask Laurent to see his sleepwear. Pretty embarrassing, yes?


After Akito's done chasing Laurent around for Watcher, we finally head to Glimmerbrook.
It's our first visit to the Magical HQ!


Akito's such a gentleman!
He tells me to go ahead and become a spellcaster first while he shops at Casters Alley.
That's fine with me. I waddle around outside the Magical HQ, seeking motes.


Here's the Sage of Practical Magic, turning Akito into a Warlock.


At one point, we're shocked by the sight of three pregnant males!
Of course, that's Laurent in the red T-shirt on the left.

Watcher insists on checking on the other two sims.
Turns out they're just overweight.


Wednesday

Early this morning, I give birth to twin girls.
We'll introduce them properly later.


That evening, we get a notification that Laurent's given birth!


Friday

Our twins are now toddlers.
Since I'm Dutch, Anouk (accent on the first syllable) also bears a Dutch name.
Akito is Japanese, so he's given Arisa a Japanese name.

I wonder if they'll grow up looking identical. They'be both spellcasters with my blue eyes.


We visit the Ernsts next door to prepare for hosting a toddler play date.
I seek out Laurent's alienboo, whose appearance surprises me.

Look at this photo of Zane Zouk holding Mai (Takumi Tasaki's alienboo).
Mai Tasaki and Etoile Ernst share the exact same skin tone.
Etoile's eyes don't look like an alien's eyes, either. Hmmmm….

By 11 pm, Akito has unlocked the Food Critic branch by maxing Gourmet Cooking.
He needs to work on his Writing skill, too..


Meanwhile, I'm still plodding along and only reach Level 6 Flower Arrangement.

We haven't made any progress with our magic powers since leaving Magical HQ.
Both of us are still Acolytes.  Where does the time go?


Sunday

Today is New Skill Day!
Akito realizes too late that he could have maxed Baking to unlock a Café.

When the clock strikes eleven, he's maxed Writing but his Baking skill is only Level 6.


Thanks to New Skill Day, I manage to unlock the Floral Designer branch.
I get pretty good at playing the Violin, too!

Also, we've both received various offers to join other careers at Level 5.
But, as planned, Akito becomes a Critic while I become a Gardener.


It's time for the Big Switch, folks!

*Birth Notifications from Non-Active Played Households: This is a feature of the MCCC mod that I've enabled for my BACC.

*Alienboo Skin Tones: I'm a little concerned about how pale both Mai Tasaki and Etoile Ernst appear. The Zouk alien twins shared the skin tones of their fathers at birth.
Also, I checked a copy of my BACC save and the Senior Pollination Technican #3 has light blue skin.
I almost aged Mai up to toddler in my BACC copy save, then decided to wait until their birthdays in Round 2. Oh, the suspense!

Actually, both Takumi's alienboo Mai and Laurent's alienboo Etoile are girls. Since the Zouk aliens have two sons, I will see about matching these four together.

As for Ava crashing the next update of Laurent's household, his wife Dolores responds: "Not over my dead body!"
Ava is a gorgeous sim and her husband, the ex-librarian Akito, is also attractive. Oh Pippin, you have no love for my male sims. LOL!

Haha, I don't play aliens often though my male dynasty sims often get abducted in dynasty challenges when I'm hoping for twins in a 6-sim household.
The Zouks might be the first all-alien household that I play long-term.

Tonight, we leave Oasis Springs and descend upon a hilltop home in Ohan'ali Town, Sulani.

Sunday (Spring)

Hello there, I'm Kai Mana. My name means Power (mana) from the Ocean (kai), that's me!
So here I am at my original home at Chieftain's overlooking Ohan'ali Town.
Marlon Mahalo, our Navigator, had asked me to serve as Sulani Chieftain, so I thought this spot would be best.


Initially, I planned to live here at the Chieftain's Villa and join the Marine Biologist career.
But then, Watcher got worried that my roomie Shannon would be happier with a hunkier guy.
So Shannon's moved out with a new hunkster settler who'll become a Marine Biologist instead.


My next career choice is Environmental Manager, so I move to Mua Pel'am.
It's obviously the most convenient for restoring Mua Pel'am, right?
My new home is at the huge Admiral's Wreckage lot. Being Chieftain has its perks!

Yes, I'm living alone in a tropical wilderness, but with a nearby waterfall and beach access.


Don't be fooled by the overhanging roof and surrounding patio.
This here's still a Micro House.


Monday

Early in the morning, I summon the elementals and three female elementals arrive.
Their names and traits are:
Pania, who is a Foodie, a Genius, and Clumsy.
Fetia, who is an Erratic Snob and Dance Machine
Arihi, who is a Good Glutton and Dance Machine


Though Arihi is most attractive, Pania seems like my best option.
Pania's still a young adult, while Fetia and Arihi are adults already.
Plus, Pania and I are both Foodies.


What do you think, folks?
Does Pania seem rather fast and loose to you?
Who really knows how often these elementals get summoned and by whom?
Anyway, we are definitely very compatible. *coughs


As the elementals' visit nears its end, I prepare to swiftly ask Pania to hang out.
When I ask her to move in and become a mortal sim, she says yes!

That weeping you hear in the background is our Watcher.
She's never before earned this in-game achievement for woohoo with a ghost.

Since she's a Genius and I'm not, I've decided she should be the Environmental Manager.
I'll become an Author instead, with the Bestselling Author and Successful Lineage aspirations..
Pania's switched her primary aspiration from Jungle Explorer to Beach Life.

She's got that overly-common townie face and needs a makeover.


Pania leaps into my arms after accepting my proposal. We're engaged!
We elope a few hours later.

My fiancee has a new jawline, larger lips, a wider nose, and bigger hair.
Her eyes remain the same, though, and still green (like mine but a lighter shade)..


Tuesday

Pania has some work to do before joining the Conservationist's Environmental Manager branch.
Besides completely restoring Mua Pel'am, she also has to max Photography.
Today, I tell her to take it easy and stay home.
She and her baby bump spend the afternoon playing chess with Shannon.


Meanwhile, I begin cleaning up Mua Pel'am. Just for today.


Wednesday

Pania gives birth to triplets: two sons and a daughter.


While cleaning up the ocean, Pania sees Patchy swimming by.
Why isn't Patch home guarding our garden?


In the evening, she throws a gold-medal Kava Party for her Beach Life aspiration.


Thursday

Pania has been Hysterical ever since our "excellent" Lottery holiday ended.
She tried to calm down at a mirror for two hours, while I watched in utter terror.

Finally, I kick her out of our club and put her to bed to sleep it off.
Her hysteria is the oddest thing: she doesn't have a single Playful moodlet.


Pania lives!  All that sleep made her Energized instead of Hysterical. *wipes brow with relief.
She has no need at all for a suntan, but what is Sulani without a Beach?

Our triplets age up to toddlers this morning!
Arihi and Enele are Charmers. Sione is Independent.


I personally witnessed Pania getting her suntan yesterday, so I can testify it's not from a bottle.
But what an unnatural color!

Her beachcombing has not gone well this morning. She looks like she could use a little break.
What about….

Saturday

I kicked Pania out from our club (again) this afternoon.
To tire her out, I suggested she run around cleaning up Mua Pel'am (which she did).

She's exhausted when she returns home and falls asleep relaxing on the lounger.
Sulani will soon have beaches!


At night, she cleans up some trash she spots on the beach near our home.
She has reached Stage One of restoring the environment of Mua Pel'am!

Pania immediately signs up for the Conservationist career.
She can't join the Environmental Manager branch for a while.
But she can avoid getting promoted until she's filled the branch requirements, hopefully.


Sunday

We invite some friends over to enjoy the perfect weather.
Look at Marlon Mahalo, treading water with one arm around his partner Leilani!
I didn't even know that was possible!

And see? Khal is constantly swimming in the ocean!


After nightfall, we pay our taxes and make a donation to Belmondo like the households before us.
We also give a $10k gift to Shannon, because one can never have enough starting funds.

Then, Pania and I put the kids to bed and snuggle until it's time for The Switch.

*Career Changes: I've recently decided to switch each dual-career household into a combo of one rabbit-hole and one work-from-home career (with one exception).
Since Belmondo's employed settlers are all just starting out in their careers, about a half dozen will change careers in Round 2.

*New community lots: Creating each new lot from scratch is too time-consuming.
I'm planning to place the default Maxis beaches then edit them.

*Khal Momoa: For this sim, I've downloaded a Khal Drogo sim from the Gallery, created by Rhisk.
Among the Gallery's many Khal lookalikes, Rhisk's version seems likely to appeal most to his future sim partner.

*Round 1: Lol, I keep adding new households to the end of Round 1.
My Round 1 will consist of 13 households total (10 in Oasis Springs and 3 in Sulani), so there are two households left to play.

Elsewhere in Sulani, two settlers have moved to Lani St. Taz.

Sunday (Spring)

Shannon: We're so excited to be living at the Journey's End!
And, no, our house is not exactly the same as the Mana home.
Their house is shaped like an upside-down L, while our house stretches sideways.

And we have a great view of the ocean from the back of the house!


My name's Shannon Brooks and I am a painter.
As you may know, I love to "Paint from Reference."
On Lani St. Taz, you'll find easels placed at various scenic spots.
That's why this island's the perfect place for me!

Since I'm Romantic, I'm hoping to complete the Soulmate aspiration.


My new roomie Khal Momoa hasn't been in Belmondo for long.
He will definitely be doing the Beach Life aspiration but is undecided about Outdoor Enthusiast..
Since he loves camping and the Great Outdoors, who knows?

It's late when our week begins, so we become BFFs, go on two dates, then hit the sack.


Monday

In the morning, we share a first kiss then I agree to become Khal's girlfriend.
But then it takes us hours to become engaged.

Hotheaded Khal has a fit and rejects all my flirting.
Here, you see him rejecting my proposal! The nerve!


After some milder flirting, Khal proposes to me.
This time, I reject his offer, crushing his fragile male ego. *plays tiny violin

But then, I feel bad about turning him down so I apologize…


In bed!? Honestly, folks, I'd only intended a verbal apology, not a full-body apology!
So much for saving myself until after the wedding.


Ahem, that seems to have put us both in a better mood.
So this time, when Khal proposes, I say yes.


I swear, Khal's gonna be the death of me!
And now that I'm an honest woman, we're off to try for baby!


Did you hear about Pania Mana's hysteria scare?
That's why Khal throws his kava party tonight, before I give birth.

He invites all the Belmondo settlers he's met so far.
Even Marlon and his partner Leilani show up!


Somebody needs to tell Ava Hauser to lose her negative attitude.
Every time I've run into her, she's frowning and complaining.  Work on your personality, girl!

Billy and Dirk arrived in Belmondo on the same day as Khal.
They're also living in Sulani, but on a different island!


Khal is handling all of the party goals himself, mostly.
I can just relax and socialize with our guests.
He easily earns a gold medal!


Tuesday

In the morning, we hear a strange sound and find a volcanic meteor in front of our house.
I quickly check to see if our Watcher had set the Volcanic Activity lot trait by mistake. Nope!
(We can't use lot traits until someone completes the Mansion Baron aspiration.)

I look around and don't see our ex-elemental neighbor Pania Mana anywhere, either.


Not long after, I spot Marlon Mahalo using his Gift of Sulani on our cowplant.
He must have been the one who summoned that volcanic meteor.

But I have no way of asking him.


A few hours later, I find Pania standing right next to yet another volcanic meteor.
The evidence points strongly to Pania having summoned this second meteor.
What do you think?


Khal's been making quick work of his Beach Life aspiration.
Why does he shade his brow to search for treasures while beachcoming?
One, the sun's gone down so there's no need to shade his vision from the sun's glare.
Two, unless he has X-ray vision, how is he even able to see beneath the sand?

No matter!  Khal is rocking his suntan. (And he didn't turn orange like Pania did.)

Thanks to a fertility massage, I give birth to a girl and two boys!


Thursday

Khal would have finished Beach Life this morning, if not for Watcher's mistake.
She had him "Relax" on a beach towel instead of a lounge chair.
I finally read the description for Khal's last task, then bought him a  lounge chair. *rolls eyes


No, I have not lost my marbles. I'm practicing storytelling to max my Charisma.
Then, we can use Khal's Beach Life aspiration as a joker.

Well, yes, it would be faster for me to buy the Great Kisser reward trait, but…


Kha'ls trying to reach Level 10 Fishing before our nooboos become toddlers.
That's the requirement for joining the Conservationist's Marine Biologist branch.

You know, looking at Kai Mana and Khal Momoa side by side, they're both undoubtedly snacks!
But Kai is so serious (duh, he's the Sulani Chieftain) and lacks Khal's sizzle.
I'm definitely right where I should be!


Friday

You're familiar with the drill by now! Our triplets age up this morning.
Lola's a Charmer. She resembles me with her blond hair and blue eyes.

Angelic Nakoa and Inquisitive Joseph age up with the same hairstyle, so we keep it.
They share their father's green eyes.


Nakoa's been trying to chat up the Cheiftain's daughteer, Arihi Mana.
She's a stunning little girl, son, but how about we wait until you're both older?


Saturday

Our middle son, Nakoa, has been learning his toddler skills much faster than his siblings?
Why?
I have a feeling that our Watcher's playing favorites (again).

As for Khal, does that man ever bother to get fully dressed?

Our first week has sped by so fast!
I managed to max Charisma on my own, though I made no progress with my Soulmate aspiration.
Nevertheless, Khal and I worked together to create four new career openings!
After expanding our home, paying texes, and donating $20k to Belmondo, we're still pretty rich.


That's why we're able to make a gift of $20,000 to Billy and Dirk.
They can surely use the cash, since they'll both need their own computers for work.

Well, our week is done! Time to go snuggle with my hazubando.

Unknown sim: Oh, so that's how it is! And here I thought she's been busy with school!
Still, she deserves to pursue her own love and happiness.

Think about it, I've loved and wed quite a few women. *starts counting fingers
Agnes Crumplebuttom, Katrina Caliente, Yachiru Sharebear, just to name a few.
So, I guess I'm okay with her cheat..., I mean, building a life with that Khal.

It's fine, Shannon. Knock yourself out! I approve, even though the dude wears guyliner.
