Am I correct in thinking that, until they've bought a home, we can't access items the game places in household inventory?
Since, as far I know, that can only be accessed from the home lot.

I am very confused on the multiplier calculation. Could we get an example. For instance, all 3 teens became heroes, so that's 300. If the mutilplier is 0.01 for a maxed skill, how am I to calculate a partial skill?  So, for instance, all of their unique skills (3) would be 0.03 combined, but what about the teen that has level 8 in cooking? How is that calculated? I did read all of the questions and answers, but still don't understand how to calculate this. Sorry :(

The multiplier is not .01 for a maxed skill. It's .01 per unique skill level. So, in your example, let's say each maxed a unique level 10 skill - fishing, video gaming, and painting. That's 30 levels X .01 = .3. One of the teens also got your 8 levels in cooking for another .08. Cooking needs to be unique for that teen meaning no other Teen could have learned cooking at all.

So, in your example you'd have 300 X 1.38 = 414

Wait then my answer is totally wrong, I only counted maxed skills as .01, and didn't count any skills that weren't lvl 10. Can I recalculate my score @Metropolis Man ?

I picked a really rough one to get back into challenges. That was so hard, I barely made it. Moved into a furnished house at 4 am on the last day, not stressful at all.

My final score is 300 x 1.7 = 510

Yes, that is correct.

Pity, I would have liked to have been wrong on that. ;) Thanks for the quick reply, GlazeyLady!

Haha, I was here in spirit. Nothing like a pandemic to get you back into compulsively playing sims. I better go off and do some practice runs for the next challenge now.

If teens reach their A's on different days, do the one's who get an A first have to maintain their A until their slower teens reach an A?

After reaching an A, do the teen have to go to school again to count that task as being complete for their hero status?

Similarly, once teens reach the top of a part time career, do they have to spend a shift at the top level for that task to count as being complete for their hero status?

No.

  • Each teen must complete homework and go to school every day until they get an A. After they have an A, they can take vacation days, sick days, or have an excuse note to miss school. Once ALL have achieved an A, you can use the calendar to create holidays with the day off.

Similarly, once teens reach the top of a part time career, do they have to spend a shift at the top level for that task to count as being complete for their hero status?

You just need to hit level 3. Then, the Teen can quit if that's what you choose.
