Question about traits, and other sims traits.

Is there anyway to see or find out the traits of other sims without cheating.

Also the perk that resets traits does it reset all.traits if you take it or.only.the base three you pick and can you reassign or assign new ones?

Traits can be learned through conversation. Also traits can learned by using "get to know" social and by the observant reward trait. Also a vampire has a  power that allows your sim to learn another sims traits.

Full aliens have a friendly social that will discover all a sim's traits.

For 500 satisfaction points is "observant" as scoed says. When you meet a sim you instantly learn their traits, though it won't tell you about sims you've already met. This is one of the first things I get even on my child sims.

The retraiting potion is to choose the base 3 traits again. It isn't going to take away additional traits you've earned through other gameplay.
