More than one Untamed Sage?

Anybody else see this happen?  My sim went to the Realm of Magic to train, and there was a new Sage of Untamed Magic.  I was surprised, because Morgyn Embers is getting old, but I didn't remember a death announcement phone call.  But on my next visit, Morgyn was back. 
The new Sage looked like she was probably random generated, and had a pretty awful personality- Mean, Gloomy, and Snob.

I've also seen multiple sages of the same type of magic.
In my save, Morgyn Embers later joined the Scientist career while another sage (replacing L. Faba after her death) joined the part-time Retail job.
Whenever my sims visited Magic HQ during either of their work shifts, another sage of the same magic type would be there.
