Chapter Two: I've made a terrible mistake
It's tough to say what's harder. Getting through the earliest stages of a Dynasty, or realising that you drastically overestimated the lifespan of a Sim. See, Jon is an Adult at the start of the game, whereas our hero Lauren is but a Young Adult. So when he aged up to Elder, she aged up to Adult, with 21 days until she becomes an Elder too. By my calculations, carrying the 1, factoring in the skyrmionic contributions and remembering the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction*, he's probably going to die long before she becomes an Elder. So I'm going to have to speedrun painting.... again.
Well, in the meantime, painting isn't all our two lovebirds got up to.
Please welcome Generation II: Claire Herrington!
Of course, it wouldn't be an immortal dynasty without ignoring the kid until they're a toddler!
And of course, that time is now! Cue Claire "Crazy-Eyes" Herrington, esq., toddler!
They grow up so fast! :')
To top off this short, ultrafast update, I'd like to share with you a snippet of conversation between new best friends Hannah Jones and Lauren Herrington.
Hannah: "Why are we in your bathroom Lauren?"
Lauren: "Shut up and let me talk about Art for 17 hours"
Hannah: "YAY! We're best friends now!"
*these are all actual concepts in high-energy physics!!
good luck.
Rachel
Cheers, I'm going to need it!
I'm pretty sure that painting slaves (other skills slave) is a synonym for husband in these dynasties. Good start!
You might be right
Best of luck! Mr. Lesson is an easy woo and could make a lovely painting, fishing, gardening slave.
Guess I know what he's doing in retirement then!
Great seeing you back here Seab!
Cheers Trip! Honestly it was seeing the return of the Ironstar Immortals that inspired me to write this one up
