[BUG] Kids Can't Get Quick Meals. YA Can't Get Leftovers

Looks like I already found a new bug since updating to the latest patch, as the title implies, children can't get leftovers from the fridge, the option simply isn't there. It is there for adults and I'm not using Mods in the game this occurred, tested it in a new file, same thing happened. Thought I'd post this here as I'm not sure if this belongs in the Discover University board or not. Curious to see if this is happening for anyone else?

Sounds like it could be a bug, there's a similar one for 'quick meals' on the EA Answers site.

Yes, it's a bug as young adults can't either, well mine can't. He just aged up with a cake about 2 sim hours after the patch loaded and I haven't been bothered to test with other YA sims as, yeah...it's a bug.

Actually, I've just realized that it's Quick Meals kids can't get from the fridge not Leftovers, (This is why I shouldn't create threads at 2:am, lol) those are available to them. My Young Adults have no such problem but my household hasn't had any birthdays yet so that may be why, as @Playalot mentioned it happened to her Sim right after he aged up. I think this issue is related to the new Quick Meal options that came in the patch for Discover University although I could be wrong about this. I was just wondering if this is a new issue or not.

I would change the title of this thread for accuracy sake, but I don't really know how to.

Well, it's leftovers my YA sim can't get so looks like either two bugs or the same one effecting different ages differently! When I've got more energy I'll have a hunt through the latest bug reports and post back, don't hold your breath though and feel free to go bug hunting yourself!

I have no issue with Leftovers but my sims can't cook some kinds of meals - when I send them to cook one of those specific meals, the action just doesn't make it to the queue. So far it affects salads and OR meals.
I have yet to check if it might be a mod related issue.

EDIT: seems the Balanced Calories mod might've been the issue.
