@LenaLJ   I'm not used to playing on Normal lifespan, so time doesn't feel like it's passing slowly at all.
The requirements are all very reasonable to achieve within the Normal lifespan.
My founder has thrown 8 gold-medal parties so far. Should I make gold-medal parties a personal restriction?

All Erwin's abductions give me hope, but it seems like pregnancy chances are really small. I'm willing to try fertility massages, herbalism lotions, anything that'll boost the chance. Not just of abductions, but of pregnancy too.

Belinda looks a lot better. Slimify is one of my most used potions. If that's something science has, but magic doesn't, it'll always be cool to do science.

I bet I've never got the Main Event achievement! Congrats. Righto. Sim Goals. I'm still keeping ideas for a P10 on the back burner, bubbling away. Mostly looking for lots I've never used and houses that would fit them. Your outdoor parties and locking the house seems like the way to go. (I'm not into sim parties at all. They're not part of the routine.) I want a variety of houses. Left to myself... they'd all look the same. That's the appealing part of the challenge to me. 

Erwin has failed me miserably in terms of getting pregnant, but has otherwise been a stellar heir.
I thought fertility massage boost the chance of multiple births so my sims get them several hours before scheduled delivery.
Does it also boost the likelihood of getting pregnant. I mean, we have thrown caution to the ends and selected the On the Ley Line trait, even. LOL!

Last year, reggiko taught us that Taste of Diet ice cream also works like the Slimify Serum. Make a group, Grab a serving together.
I adore having a Scientist in the household, but it's nice having an alternative weight loss option for non-household sims.

Haha, I'm not the builder you are. I briefly considered building a house in a different architectural style for each town, but I doubt I lack those skills or patience.
I mean, I already lost the opportunity by not creating a hacienda-style house in Erwin's neighborhood, right?
So my plan from the start has been to build color variations of Erwin's house. *shrugs
However, I would love to see you build a variety of houses! Please, pretty please?

I guess that, as the heir, it's only right that Wynn takes after the founder, Erwin.
Her traits so far are Music Lover (child) and Loves the Outdoors (teen). These are two of my favorite traits.
I'll be trying to choose traits to suit each heir's circumstances but have difficulty resisting Loves the Outdoors, haha.

I really like loves the outdoors too. it’s particularly good for sims who may not have a house right away, Wynn will thank you for that when she moves out.

I don't play as quickly as everyone else seems to, I’m still on my first sim week, but things are moving along nicely now so it shouldn’t be long until I have enough content for a proper update.

Wow, I'm away from the forum for a few weeks (or maybe a month) and I come back to find everyone playing a brand-new dynasty.     This one looks like a lot of fun.  I love the house and your version of Erwin.  It makes me *almost* want to add the Strangerville pack to my game, but I've held off because I don't want to make my Sharebears do another career and aspiration. 

Six abductions and no pregnancy?  I wonder if they've tweaked the chances lately with the recent patches.  Don't give up hope, though.  Erwin still has two weeks before the heir moves out, right?

Thank you for reading! I'd been planning to finish my Sharebears Legacy; my 9th heir is a day or two from her YA birthday, I believe. I'd been playing with Get Famous disabled when I stopped simming last year. With the new rules, I will finish with 100+ plus even while ignoring the Style Influencer careers and disabling both the Get Famous and Strangerville packs.
The number of careers required by a Pinstar Legacy has grown ridiculous over the years.
But one thing I've really appreciated is that it has led me to max every skill, every aspiration, and almost every career.

But then, this Power of Ten Dynasty was unveiled and here I am.
Yeah, so many unfruitful abductions, soooooo many! *cries

1.6: We Are Family!

It's the usual routine.
The twins start out by reading skill books


Our world now holds a total of six primary-school students. Perfect timing, game!


To avoid maxing the wrong skill, I'm relegated to the role of resident beekeeper.
I collect swarms and pollinate our garden at every cooldown.
Eh, I don't even bother bonding with the bees anymore.


Now that our plant collection is almost complete, Patchy doesn't seem very useful.
He leaves his stump only at times when he won't have to help in the garden.
Then he mooches drink after drink from our Fountain of Mirth, leaving empty glasses everywhere.


As The Scientist of the House, I wish I could be pursuing the elusive UFO plant.
But I must avoid maxing Rocket Science, just in case.
So that glory will eventually fall (we hope) on my wife Mia or our daughter Zoe.


Thanks heavens that fishing is a skill shared among myself and the heirs.
How shall I spend all my free time after completing my last requirement?


The twins carve pumpkins for my Spooky Party.


Wynn and I, looking classy at a White & Black Bash.
This party often strikes fear in the hearts of watchers everywhere.


However, we crushed that "Listen to classical music 0/3 sims" goal with ease.
I ignore the hired entertainer playing the piano.
Instead, I click the stereo and choose "Appreciate classical music together."

Voila, my 10th gold-medal party! I'm officially done with all 10 requirements.


How to pass the time until the twins' young adult birthday?
Wynn and her sister Zoe join the Retail career.


Wynn and I have already discussed where she'll be moving.
She's still trying to decide between two careers.


I thought I would be safe if I left the home lot. I guess not.
At least I know for sure I'm not pregnant this time.

That's right, I plan to quit this career in another week or so.
Today, my watcher joined me so I can pick up my science objects to take home.

Since none of us works on weekends, we spend Saturday at Granite Falls.
My adult birthday comes in five days, so it's a good time to give alt-Erwin another Age-Away Serum.


Later that day, Wynn and alt-Erwin become good friends.
I hope he feels like the twins' uncle.

It's still Saturday, so tonight makes the third abduction in six days.

Wow, you're cruising along now. That garden! I've been pretty lazy as far as completing the gardening collection. Catalina's garden was mostly dragon fruit, some avocado trees, and a few random plants. Francisco's is avocados, tomatoes, bird of paradise, and lilies.

I really like the way you've set up their lot. It's a very efficient use of space while still being aesthetically pleasing.

Wow, look at you go oshizu!  Bravo on finishing everything up ^^ Can't wait to see how Wynn does. And isn't that just the way? The times I try for alienboos, I never get one, but when I don't want them, boom!  I think the game likes to troll us players on occasion XD

Thanks! The garden is incomplete. It lacks the UFO Plant so it doesn't count for the Curator aspiration. (Romance Festival, here we come!)
It's also missing the emotion berries and that Plantsim fruit. I needed to learn/relearn when and where to harvest everything.
Okay, I confess: I always obsess over the garden collection.

I'd only played that lot layout on a 30x20 lot before, but now the 40x30 Arid Ridge lot has spoiled me! Future gardens will require downsizing for sure!

Thanks for your commiseration regarding Erwin's many failed abductions.
Never has a sim of mine been abducted so many times, never has a sim failed so badly at producing an alienboo.
But give me a 6-sim household where I want a pregnant sim to give birth to twins. Bam, I get an alienboo!

I'm trying to pretend that I don't want an alienboo, but my desperation seems to be showing...

XD I swear, the game always knows! It's either that or our desperation just makes us slightly crazy... I tend to think the crazy part is more likely, at least for me heh.

You can get the plant Sim seeds from Patchy or in rare seed packs. I have pretty good luck getting the UFO plant through rocket missions. I haven’t gotten one from a festival in forever. I think the emotion berries are a year-round harvestable. Have you gotten the money fruit?
