Can we sell honey and swarm gifts in the retail store as well? Or is retail limited to the cakes, and the rest should be sold via inventory?
Also, is it okay to use the restock function on cakes, or do we have to make genuine ones every time?

You can sell honey and swarm gifts in the retail store, but you can't use the "restock" option.

Just not allowed, Cakes have to be freshly baked from the oven.

You can place a store or build one. All operating and building costs come out of household income.

No, that would hurt your ranking. You'll just need to skip this one.

Dek, a DNF in an event means you started the event, but could not fulfill what was required to post a score. Not having the Seasons expansion means you would not have the bee/honey content to participate. So, no DNF. You would just skip the event. There are some content required challenges and this is one of them.

I noticed in the opening display that My Sims trophies are sitting on what looks like retail display shelves and Patchy is in the corner.  I assume no selling those My Sims or other collectibles and does Patchy count as being an added member to the household?

Patchy was not added to the family. The tree was just added for the photo. You can sell what items you get from the swarm when they bring them to you.

 1.  Does the lot have to be empty or can you bull doze?
 2.  If you do not buy a retail store can you bull doze a place for a vendor table in a more  populace area?  Location, location, location!
 3.  Are any cheats allowed or any particularly banned?  (buydebug?)
 4. I literally go cross eyed at spread sheets, can I just tally by hand and turn in a number or does it have to be on the spread sheet?

Since your score will be based on your household income, you can't bulldoze an existing house or sell any of the furniture from a house you buy. You don't have to buy an empty lot, but if you buy a furnished house, you can't sell anything in the house.

You can't bulldoze any community lots.

Regarding cheats, look at the general rules and the ones for this challenge.

You don't have to use a spreadsheet.
