Goal
A simple new challenge that examines the beekeeping activity from the Season's expansion -- make as much money as you can centered around honey and the bees.

General Challenge Rules
The General Challenge Rules always apply. If applicable, exceptions will be noted below.

Specific Challenge Rules

• In CAS, create a YA Sim.
• You must choose the Private Dwelling lot trait to prevent abductions, and no adding to the household.
• All Household income is restricted to 1) the sale of honey; 2) the sale of honey cakes in a retail store and/or vendor table; 3) selling presents from swarms.
• Selling pollinated garden produce is NOT allowed.
• Selling honey and swarm presents in a retail store/vendor table is allowed, but using the restock option is NOT allowed.
• The challenge ends on Week 3, Day 1, 8 a.m.

Scoring

Your score is your Household Income at Week 3, Day 1, 8 a.m. Remember the only income allowed is the 3 methods listed above in the rules.

Ch-Ch-Changes
The team does not want to edit and make changes to the ruleset once this event goes live, but we may have to. If an exploit is brought to our attention or we discover something else we reserve the right to ask affected players to redo their effort.

Please think hard before you ask in the challenge thread because it may be strategy. What you may consider an innocent question could cause another player to go — “oh, I did not think of doing that.” It’s always safer to PM everyone on the team (Metro, LenaLJ, MarianT, and sdhoey) for clarifications. I don't have this expansion pack and I won't be getting it. So l'm excluded from taking part.

Retail is something I've never tried in the Sims 4, it's just never interested me, but this challenge could be the perfect excuse to try it. I haven't decided if I will enter this challenge or not, I will have to think about it, in the meantime, a quick question or two can't hurt.

How much money is our Sim allowed to start with? They will need some cash to build/buy a house after all, as well as buy some Bee Boxes.

Everyone starts with the same amount of money, so what you build/buy is all part of the strategy.

Can we sell honey and swarm gifts in the retail store as well? Or is retail limited to the cakes, and the rest should be sold via inventory?
Also, is it okay to use the restock function on cakes, or do we have to make genuine ones every time?

You can sell honey directly from inventory. It's not possible to do that with baked goods, however, so if you want to make honey cakes, you'll have to sell them from a store.

You can sell honey and swarm gifts in the retail store, but you can't use the "restock" option.
