Screenshots - Sims and Lots

I've just discovered that Carl has been generous enough to provide us with a Gallery. (Thank you.)  So I was wondering:

When submitting a sim or lot to Carl's Sims 3 Swap Shop may I upload the screenshots (and a smaller preview image, if possible) to the Gallery and provide a link to those pictures when emailing Carl - rather than emailing Carl the screenshots directly?

(I'm including sims in this because it is so much nicer to see CAS pictures or in-game pictures - as in samoht04's Rabbit Character - of the sim rather than the pictures that are on the official Exchange.)

Yes that would work nicely, thank you.

I have about 5 submissions to put up, but am waiting for a few more to do them all at once. I got my first mansion submissions. Thanks danefaith!

I just added Mansions and a variety of other things, well over a dozen files. I've about 9 submissions in my queue and am wrapped for the day on adding them, pending some info from people who submitted.

I was a little tied, but will be adding the rest of Pam's submissions soon along with  several small houses to add at some point this weekend.

For complete categories, my wish list is currently:

Clothes of any kind
Sims of any age
Non-residential lots

Anything, really. We're still in launch phase. At some point we'll have enough content that a random visitor could enjoy browsing things, and that is my goal to consider the section really alive.

I am a pretty good sims architect. I will send you a mansion, and a starter house. I can also built a club/bar. Plus I will send you a sim. This is ideal exchange platform for newcomers. It's so much more welcoming and safer then the official exchange. Good idea for expanding the site. I will email you the files and details later tonight or tomorrow.

By the way I have been think of making a world, tell me if you're interested.

I've just sent you an email with some more content, Carl. Hopefully it'll fill up the Clothing tab some more.  :)

Thanks guys. Yes, Andrew I would love a town. I'm sure that's going to be the most rare type of submission to find as they take so much time.

Shot you with a slew of bars and another mansion.  Hope those help.  Also forgot to mention, the store content in Casa de Bamba are freebies from the T-Mobile offer.  It could be helpful to direct the downloader toward that.

Oh, sweet irony, deliver me from coincidence.

Please feel free to utilize any of my builds in any of your stories and so forth.

That's awesome. We're going to find more of these freebies I'm sure. Pam's Montalcino Fandango SE submission led to the free link and that's actually very popular right now.

Carl, Got a bunch of remodeled houses and a mansion and if you would like, I can send you my well kept graveyard.  I hate the gruesome ones so when I'm just playing for me I clean them up and make them like real ones which aren't creepy at all.  Also have some families of Sims, single Sims and beau coup other things I can send your way.

EDIT:  Carl, the Dr. Pepper reward thing is still up and going.  Really nice items from them.

EDIT:  Forgot, I've been remodeling Twinbrook but not sure how I would upload the town.  Added lots of new lots and did some clean up of old ones.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Hmm, I might have to make a section on the front page of the swap shop that links to these freebies, if there are enough of them.

I don't have any families yet, but was planning to have a section for that. I like your graveyard idea, and I doubt I'd be alone. That's definitely got a place in the shop.

I'm not sure how you'd go about sharing the world you've modified. I'm curious if create-a-world would be necessary to export it and share?

I've nearly 2 dozen submissions right now (several more just came in, whew!), and will get a few up tonight. Expect me to post about all the additions tomorrow and show off a few new categories. But, no need to hold back on submitting. I keep them all in my inbox and ready to go for when I do a batch, there will just always be some lag between a submission and it appearing.

Hmmmm.   Are you SURE you're ready for this? LOL  I have a bazillion things to share, partly because of AriaGirls housing contests and partly because I play more than 12 hours a day. Seriously.

The families were created by my kid who is registered as squeakyclean, here.  She just gave me the ok to post her families and whatever else she makes for us.  She doesn't play much on the pc, (is deeply involved in her female lead role in "Singing in the Rain"), but does play on PS 3.  She said she'd be willing to make some Sims for PS3 as well.  If you need houses or items for PS3 let me know, I'm sure she'd let me share her PS3 for that, although it probably means she'll be on my pc. lol

I'm currently working on finishing a mansion I created for the build contest.  I felt it was completely unfinished but I had met the dollar amount allowed so had to leave it as it was.  Whoever would buy it had better be richer than Croesus!  Hmmm, if I do it right it would make an awesome legacy/dynasty type house.  Plenty O room in it.  I'll send you the recolors as I do them.

Pam submitted over 20 items for me at once. It was easier as many fell under the same category. That's one reason I save up some, as it's not very time efficient to add on to one page at a time. I'll be current tomorrow, so maybe my next day working on it will be a Joria only day :D
