I've done a couple practice runs and am feeling rested and ready! 

This one looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I don't often use the Klepto trait so it will be fun to branch out a little and try new things.

I have a question on this. With the klepto trait, are we then supposed to "steal" these items when we find them or just make a note of where we found them? I have never played with the klepto trait before. Thanks

Yes, you have to steal the items. All 10 items should be in your possession when you report your time.

You must choose the Private Dwelling lot trait to prevent abductions, but after doing so...

When we do this, are we allowed to buy things we need for the party or anything else we might need, or are we only meant to equip the lot traits and nothing else? Also wondering if we can add lot traits to community lots?

You can't add lot traits to community lots. You can only go into build mode to add the Private Dwelling lot trait to your home.

Sorry. Yes, you do need to dig up the fossil and fish for the angelfish.

Good grief, the t-rexes must have died out in my scoring file before they were birthed or something ... I've found each of the rare, most of the uncommon and all but two of the common fossils. I really annoyed the RNG this time. In a couple of cases I've found multiple rares. LOL

I'm having the same problem and also with the angelfish! In one of my practice runs the angelfish was literally the first one I caught.... in my actual scoring file I've been fishing so long I've maxed the fishing skill without using any buffs or elixirs or anything else. Ack.

Finally a t-rex arms ... it was almost anti-climatic when it happened. I was almost hoping I'd complete the collection when I got it, instead of having another common one still to get to complete the collection.

Now to workout about this gold party lol

Just out of curiosity, Can we upload our Simselves after we have grabbed the items but before we throw the party? Or do we have to upload ourselves before we start playing?

Btw, you guys are gonna love my party outfit, I would totally wear that, even now ... as for my everyday wear, I really did dress like that when I was younger, I was very much into a certain lifestyle back then, I still am, I just don't dress like that anymore toned it down a little with age, hehe. My traits however don't reflect my personality at all ...
