I finally got caught up with the Sunbursts! It takes awhile when you start from 24 pages behind. Great story, and good luck with finishing it all up!

Thanks for the comment, Joria! I thought I would be bored with the Sunbursts because it's taking so long to play through this challenge, but it's taking so long that new EPs come out and keep things from getting boring!  ;D

Thanks for the comment, Rhoxi! It's always nice to have new readers. Thank you for the encouragement.

I always had this bookmarked and meant to catch up on all the updates I'd missed from the beginning. There was so many pages and I wanted to get it in one go. Got the time to do so today and I must say time well spent! This is a wonderful story, Lilygirl. :) I love how all your simmies look interesting and unique and just plain great. :)

Thanks for the comment, Ilessthan3TheSims. It's nice to hear that my Sunbursts are time well spent!

Sciks: Week 43

Another less than enthralling week at the Sunburst house but here are a few pics of the highlights. Sevinn spends all her free after school time with the horses. She lucks out one evening and the outdoor jumping course actually works! Well, half of the jumps do anyway. I guess jumping over two jumps is more exciting than the one we have at home. By the look on Sevinn's face I'm guessing some serious concentration is needed.

Lihua and I have had a rough time of it relationship-wise in my family. I lost all respect from the elders when I broke up with Caroline, and everyone seriously disliked Lihua for being the reason I broke up with Caroline. I've tried my best to rebuild my relationships and get the elders to give Lihua a chance but they all claim to be too busy with their own things to hang out with her. Or maybe they think having a great relationship with the last "spare" simply isn't worth the effort, I don't know. All I know is that even Sevinn doesn't have a friendship with her mother anymore. With her teen museum pieces done, I convince Sevinn to give the horses a rest and spend some time with her mother, she is way over 90 days old after all. It looks like fun is had by all!

Tuesday, at least I think it's Tuesday, is Sevinn's YA birthday. My baby is all grown up now. Sniff. We throw a small party at home with just the three of us. Wunn decides birthday cake is a good enough reason to stop fishing for a couple hours. A man's got to eat right?

Here she is all grown up and still in love with the colour purple, and her horses.

Sevinn's Graduation Ceremony follows the next day so we all head down to City Hall and celebrate. She is voted Class Valedictorian! That's my baby girl!

This is Dewey Cahill, the one and only classmate of Sevinn's. No need to get your hopes up though, Sevinn is committed to another male, namely Shadow, her horse.

We decide to actually have a party to celebrate Sevinn's graduation and we all head down to The Brightmore, recently renamed The Sciks Suns. Lihua tries out the new ride while Wunn and I hit up the dance floor.

Fyve goes skinny dipping in the hot tub on the other side of the club while Therie and Tu get their groove on.

And since Dewey was at City Hall with us and he didn't have any family there, we invite him out to the party as well. Looks like he's having a great time.

I'm not sure where Fhore or Sevinn are but it seems they escape the camera this time around.

This is what happens to elders that autonomously skinny dip at the local pool, one of us other elders feels compelled by an almost tangible force to head over to the pool ourselves and hide the discarded clothing. What a laugh!

P.S. For all the 'Glee' fans out there, this is the Sue Sylvester of the Sunbursts' Twinbrook.

Next Week: Will the Grim finally remember we have an over-aged elder spouse still hanging around? On second thought, hopefully not, as I am 90 days old as of Saturday and I'm still looking to reach level 10 of my Sports career. The Grim can stay where he is!

Sciks: Week 44

This week is a crazy one although you wouldn't know it for the pictures. I start the week out older than 90 days and I still have to get my last promotion at work! I can feel the immortal elders breathing down my neck!

First, though, Sami comes by again and has a good sleep in her awesome bed. I miss my girl.

Monday I go to work and raise my performance bar to almost half. Tuesday I get to about 85%. It really sucks to not have the option to work hard at work! But I still have the game tomorrow, a win will get me my promotion, most definitely! It's only when I get to the game on Wednesday that I realize my performance bar does not fill during a game! That means, with tomorrow being my day off, the Grimm better be busy elsewhere until at least Saturday!

With my performance bar about 85% full, I invite my boss over on Thursday morning in hopes that this time she will grant me a promotion. Everything is going well until the Grimm shows up! There's no running from the inevitable now ...

Good-bye boss. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow for my last promotion (and hope that the Grimm doesn't see me hiding behind the exercise machine).

The Grimm hangs around (I think maybe he feels like he's missing something) and Tu distracts him by asking the Grimm to pose for a sculpture.

I could kiss Tu's feet right about now but I won't.

Sevinn buys her property and building, the Training Grounds and Equestrian Center respectively. She expands the training grounds to include a longer race loop and more room for the jumps. She also puts in bathroom and eating facilities for the fans that come by and watch her training with Shelby.

Thursday I get my last promotion and am now a bonafide sports star!

I rush home from work to eat my ambrosia so I can receive my Deathflower from Wunn just in case the Grimm does come today. Ack! How is it even possible that I don't have 6 best friends??!! Oh for Pete's sake! So Thursday evening, instead of eating my ambrosia I'm running around town tracking down good friends to turn into best friends.

Friday morning ...

I have ambrosia for breakfast! I am now an Immortal man and will be passing things over to Sevinn next week.

Sciks Sunburst, Immortal, age 97. Yes, age 97!

Sevinn would like to share that this little guy showed up at the Training Grounds a day or so after she upgraded it to level 3. He's made himself at home there.

Next Week: Lihua and Shadow both have appointments with the Grimm, but will he come?

I hope that statue of Grimm never melts! Have you done that before?

Is that a custom pattern on Sciks's shirt when he's eating ambrosia?

Cutting it close! Now you can breathe... For now, anway! :D

I'll make a note to try and sculpt Grim once I feel like I can attempt a dynasty again. That's awesome! And congrats to Sciks!

I recently decided to read this whole dynasty through, and I'm pretty floored on how you were able to get so much original townie blood into the Sunburst family. I've spent weeks perfecting my method to ensure that about half the town gets into my dynasty's family, but I can only hope to have the success that you did.

The statue of the Grimm won't melt.

The pattern is here in the Swap Shop, it is one of Gheez's patterns.

And yes, it's very nice that the pressure is off! When I heard the Grimm music I panicked a little, until I realized that if it was one of my Sims the camera would pan to it. It sent my heart racing though.

Thanks! I was pretty lucky on how many townie relationships happened at the beginning and how many townies had kids/more kids. I've got an ace up my sleeve for Sevinn when she's ready but it's a secret for now.

What a close call! That must have been nerve-wracking.

It was for the first couple days and then I kind of forgot about it. I would have been so upset at the injustice if the Grimm had come for Sciks before Lihua, who is something like 115 days old. Leave it to gen6's spouse to hang around forever!  ???

I was feeling rather worried when I read through that. Congrats on getting Sciks to becoming Immortal! Lets hope Sevinn becomes Immortal a bit earlier.  :P

Wait, her name is Sue Sylvester? Only she doesn't look like the Glee one at all.

Great update! 97 Days Old, now that must be a record for cutting it so close! I would have been panicking at 87!  :o
