The baby gnomes are so sweet! I've never seen mine lay down like that! That's priceless! Welcome Sciks and Nikolas! Invite Sandi over, make 10 batches of watermelon pancakes and try to make her eat all of them lol.

Thanks for reading everybody!

@ Juxt: Nooboos can fix anything, they're like Duct Tape for TS3!

@ Simstar: Phyre is correct. Franklin and Sandi have all boys, 5 of them now. Thanks Phyre for answering her question.

@ Esther: I kept meaning to gift Sandi a bunch of watermelons (since we can do that now) but I kept forgetting.

Oh wow, I'm loving all the nooboos!!!  I think the gnome gnooboo is just the sweetest little thing - I can't wait to get some gnomes gnow!

Welcome little Sciks!  I'm glad Patrick has finally finished sowing his oats.  If Fyve is willing to overlook whatever the strut was about, who am I to hold it against him!

Fyve: Week 31

So I get the entire week off as maternity leave! When you only work 4 days per week and you get a 4-day mat leave the result is no work for an entire week! Super awesome if you ask me. I go back to work on Monday and my adorable little Sciks becomes a child on Tuesday. I get to be home for almost the entirety of his toddler stage! Can you tell I'm excited about this?!

Now that we have the addition of Generations, my Logic skill journal has a new requirement before it's considered superMaxed. I have to discover all 10 potions, so I buy my Chemistry Table and get to work. I figure, since I still have loads of time before I become an Elder, and it's going to bug me if I don't make an effort to get this done, I might as well. Also, I have the entire week off as mat leave! Did I mention that already? I think I look very science-y and focused!

Uncle Franklin spends his evenings and days off teaching his teenage sons to drive. Lenny got his permit last week, this week it's Mitchell's turn. Should a man with his appointment with the Grim scheduled for this Saturday really be teaching a teen to drive? I can't believe that it's doing anything good for his nerves and heart!

Patrick has a client at the park one day and he runs into Uncle Franklin's Lenny (teen) and Nikolas (toddler). It's nice to see a teenager willing to take his little brother to the park for the afternoon.

Tuesday brings Sciks' toddler birthday so I invite everyone out for another pool party! These parties are so much fun! I blow out the candles for my little man.

Then, while everyone has cake and dives back into the pool, I help him ride on the little pirate ship I put in just for this occasion! Isn't he the cutest little guy you've ever seen?! But wait, you don't even know about the best part, but that's for later.

Great Grandma Therie does the honours of wheeling the little man home in our brand new stroller, designed with his favorite colour, Spice Brown. The Gnomes must have caught wind of the birthday party happening and decide to welcome the birthday boy home with a grand party of their own. Sciks looks a little unsure of the Gnomes.

Here is my little man after the necessary trips to the dresser and mirror. Can you see the most awesome part of this gorgeous little boy?!

It's late and this mommy is plum tuckered out so Grandma Fhore gets the honours of putting Sciks to bed. I'll see you in the morning, my beautiful boy.

Whenever he gets a few minutes alone, Sciks likes to play with his little doll toy thing we got in the mail for him. We named her Lola and they are so adorable together.

I get the time-honoured tradition of potty training my son. He is so smart it only takes just over 2 tries and he's got The Throne mastered! *Puffs out chest in pride*

I also get the joy of teaching my son to talk. The elders in this house are very good at leaving the toddler training to the parents of said toddler. When I asked Mom if she wanted to take care of this one she said she had the joy of teaching me my first words and she couldn't take that away from me. So, after wiping away a tear, I find myself on the floor in front of my son talking about ... garbage, really?! It scares me that he's this excited over garbage.

Here is an update picture on Uncle Franklin's son Marty, with his girlfriend Haeju, whom I missed last week, plus Aunt Sandi. Marty and Haeju aged into gorgeous YAs last week and were difficult to track down but I manage to catch them this week, while Aunt Sandi has her Elder birthday this week. Here are all three of them in their new duds courtesy of Patrick.

Enjoying my time off immensely, I take Sciks out for a stroll one night. I head for the gym where Patrick's band is playing tonight but I turn back after walking for an hour doesn't even get me halfway there. It's a much longer walk than I thought! Instead, I tuck little Sciks in for the night and call it a night myself. We'll just have to catch Patrick's band some other night.

Since our household is full again, and Grandpa Wunn is getting tired of mining every night, today he decides to try out another find from the Consignment Shop that's been sitting in our family storage for weeks! Wunn heads down memory lane with a trip to the past.

I guess they didn't appreciate his intrusion because they kicked him out after a couple hours. Maybe we'll stick to mining, Grandpa Wunn?

Patrick rolls the wish to teach our young son to walk when Sciks ages up, and even takes a couple days off work (although he can't help but do a makeover or two when he's out and about) to spend time with Sciks and teach him the fine points of bipedal locomotion.

One of those makeovers done while taking time off finally promotes Patrick to level 10 Stylist!

This is for all you Gnome nooboo lovers out there! Nooboo Eins ages up this week and now prefers to be an airplane when amongst the adult Gnomes.

Note: Uncle Franklin's appointment with the Grim came and went Saturday without a sign from the Grim. Lets see how long the Grim forgets about this appointment.

Next Week: Sciks becomes a Child, Patrick becomes an Elder, but does Franklin become a Ghost?

~~~~~
Sorry for the lack of story telling in this update, I've been absolutely exhausted for the past 3 weeks and today is no different. Patrick's story has to wait a little longer because he's a little bugged at the moment. With him active, there are 2 Sims I can't click on to interact with them, Fyve is one of them. At least with her I can just have her initiate the interactions Patrick rolls the wishes for but I can't do that with the townie Sim. Argh! I've cleaned out all my caches so hopefully he'll be fixed next time I play.
Haeju is Marty's girlfriend, Marty is Franklin's oldest son. Franklin is Therie's son and Fhore's half-brother and Fyve's Uncle.
Sorry, I should have restated Haeju and Marty's relationship, I guess I'm more exhausted than I thought. I'll make the edit.
Thanks for reading Simstar and TallStar. :D
Great to see you playing again Lily. I love the story so far, especially little Nooboo Eins - can't wait to have a baby gnome of my own.
You won't believe me... but even after rereading the story three times I have just figured out who is Patrick after all. ;D
I am sorry to hear about the glitch, that bites. Sciks is the cutest male toddler I've ever seen! He is adorable, especially when surrounded by gnomes. Oh, and Eins is still amazing! I totally love Generations, it rocks.
Awesome update, Lily, and best of luck with the glitches. :)
Happy Birthday baby Sciks!  You can tell that he's Fyve's son without a doubt in that makeover picture.
Here's to hoping that Uncle Franklin has grandnooboos!
Thanks for the comments Pally, Chronic, and Rica!
My favorite thing about little Sciks you can't really see in any of his pictures in this update. I'll try my best to remember, next time I get a chance to play, to get a good picture so you all can see why he's my new favorite Sunburst! Other than cuteness, of course.
I didn't notice all the Gnomes had gathered by the front entrance like that until I followed Therie and Sciks home. Of course, it begged for a picture!
Well, I'm off for my first day of work! I'm super excited and nervous, mostly nervous about making it through an 8hr day without a nap. Here's hoping for lots of sit down time.
I hope your first day of work was a success Lily!
Despite exhaustion, I still think that was a great update! Sciks is so absolutely adorable! He looks a lot like Patrick at this point, I'm curious to see if it'll stay like that!
A big yay from Grim missing his appointment with Franklin, if any sim ever deserved more time it's him!
Oh, and I almost forgot: Happy Birthday to Eins. I love it how they also age up in more than one life stage.
*Finds her story thread shoved behind all the wonderful new stories and dusts it off.*
Hello everyone. It's not that I'm not playing the Sunbursts, it's that I play them for an entire week before updating and three of them rolled wishes for China again so that's where they currently are. Between working again (only part-time though, YAY!) and being exhausted by 2pm I don't get a lot of Simming in during a week. Also, we've spent more days away from home than home in August so that means no Simming. But I'm back at home, I feel less exhausted these days, and now I need to get the Sunbursts home from China so I can update the game (fingers all crossed!) in order to finish my Wishmaster challenge.
All of that to say that there will be updates shortly (this week sometime), so if anyone needs to run to the grocery store for tea, cookies, veggies, whatever, now would be a good time. :D  See you in a few.
