I am feeling blind. Luckily my question won't ever require a real moderator. This isn't a strategy question for once. It's just basic illiteracy on my part.

??? The kids are suppose to use a randomizer but that's not showing up as a link for me in the directions.

Do we find our own randomizer or does everyone else just know where to go after doing this every year?

I have one in my bookmarks here: https://www.simslegacychallenge.com/sims-4-legacy-challenge-random-trait-generator/

But I have to supplement it for toddlers here: https://www.simslegacychallenge.com/toddler-random-trait-generator/

Is everyone else using a different one?

??? Do we randomize just the kid stages, or when becoming a toddlers too? Is it just the step from toddler to child or the step from child to teen as well?
I would assume all three but I decided to ask about that too.

In CAS, when your sim ages up, next to the traits is a new randomizer dice. If you have patched up and you should be, it will be there.

Hi All,  I look forward to looking at all your amazing scores and then reading your intriguing strategies.  Sadly there is little to learn from me, other than I try hard and I am not a quitter. :(

The Flower family failed to flourish. Although 5 reached Young Adulthood, none of them fulfilled their potential and so did not meet the requirements for moving out.  So my results are 5 YA, not moved out and 1 teen not moved out, giving me the grand score of 23. :-[

I am sure this will guarantee me the bottom slot, but it should encourage everyone else to post their scores, as they will be better than mine. ;)

Good luck to all.  Look forward to reading about your accomplishments. :)

@junegem have faith in my ability to have a child sim taken away due to neglect. I have faith in my ability to have that happen to me. :)

I know each year that it's going to come but I still dread it.

YA Out       5x5=25
YA In         4x4=16
Child In     1x2=02
Toddler In  1x1=01

Total= 44

My parents had 4 YAs move out, 2 YAs at home, 1 Child and 1 Toddler.

4 x 5 = 20
2 x 4 = 8
1 x 2 = 2
1 x 1 = 1

20 + 8 + 2 + 1 = 31.

This was a tough one but I surprised myself by moving out 4 Young Adults.

That game had it all, including a house fire at 3:00am on Sunday week 5.

But no one died and no toddlers got taken away due to neglect, and so Mr and Mrs Andreas achieved the following

6 Young Adults moved out: 6x5=30
0 Young Adults stayed home: 0x4=0
1 Teenager caused a fire: 1x3=3
2 Children passed out: 2x2=4
and
0 Toddlers went wah wah wah wah wah at the end of the challenge
for a total of 37 points.

This was so much fun, and I think it's the first time I've finished a baby boomer without anyone dying or another dreadful occurrence happening.

The fabulously fertile, and random(ish) CAS couple, Carmen and Avery Oliveira had 17 children all named after investigators in the Arkham Horror board game series.

12 YA moved out = 60
2 YA at home = 8
0 teens at home
2 children at home = 4
1 toddler at home (he really didn't want to finish that potty training) = 1

Total score = 73

very nice @Vesper! if you order the digits in your score in the opposite order you get my score ... so that means in a way I'm winning as well, doesn't it?  8) (I warned you I've been mad for years)
