This had tons of news on upcoming content. There is new free Pride content coming this month. Sims 4 Realm of Magic is the next game pack coming this fall. No real details on this though but it is something I am so excited about And then as already known Moschino X is the next stuff pack. It does have a new career.

Ever wanted to get tan lines in Sims 4 Island Living, well You can. Or how about being friends with a Dolphin soon you can. Want to swim in the ocean well you will be able to. You can go boating in a canoe or a jet ski like object. Yes we are getting a latter. Did I mention the Volcano? Yes there is one and yes it is active and can rain down lava at your sims. here is a fishing career, a life guard job, a dive instructor gig, a conservationist career, and a way to make money doing odd jobs. Kava Kava is being added to the game.There also will be new traits, a new aspiration and  a new world. I think that covers what we know.

Darn, I am forgetting the coolest thing again a new Life State Mermaids! Yes a full new life state buildable in CAS. They will have powers, and both a land and water form. I am so stoked I love occult life states and we learned of two Mermaids in Island Living coming PC: Friday, June 21. Console: Tuesday, July 16, and Witches in Sims 4 Realm of Magic this fall. I think I died and went to Sim heaven.

Wow. volcanic activity in every world if you want it. Great for apocalypse challenges and the like. Outdoor only though so they will not destroy structures or hit apartments. Sounds fun and I hear you can die this way.

I actually did to forget you can affect the Island my cleaning it up and also make friends to elementals that way too. Sadly these "elemental" look like normal ghosts but hopefully as more than just that. And the new worlds name is "Sulani"

I hope that this expansion(? - it is that rather than either of the other two types of game content packs for Sims 4, isn't it?) causes less issues for the game than the similar pack did for Sims 3.

@Deklitch If you left-click once on Sims 4 in Origin, a sort of half window will "pop up". You will see five different tabs here, titled something like 'friends who play', 'extra content', 'expansion packs', 'game packs', and 'stuff packs'. Island Living is listed in the expansion packs tabs

@Deklitch Hopefully it will as open swimming is limited to one world and adding it to every world was a major source of bugs in Sims 3. But that being said all Sim products tend to ship with dozens of bugs so no promises.

So, looking around the internet for what was revealed: dogs CAN swim in the ocean, yay for our furry friends! (I believe only some breeds are fond of water, though, so most won't likely do that autonomously)
Mermaids can summon a storm with Seasons installed (wondering if this will work on other worlds and/or of the weather gizmo will be able to do the same).
Ocean swimming in other worlds - it MIGHT (but not guaranteed) be patched in in the future.

I have been watching the Australian gamechanger Deligracy's videos on YouTube, and I am really looking forward to this expansion. I wonder if occults become able to produce hybrid offspring or if it'll simply be one or the other. These days, I'm in so much pain from many of my joints, so I really needed some cheering up. I loved to swim and dive when I was younger, so mermaids and that new neighborhood hold special appeal to me.
