Celebrities are beyond annoying. The Paparazzi deserve to sent to the seventh circle of Hades. And the town that comes with it is small and boring.

It wouldn't be so bad if the celebrities didn't show up everywhere. It doesn't matter if I am at the Library or the Spa, they are everywhere. I can understand them being at clubs and restaurants. But some places just don't make sense,

If you want there is a way to disable it through origin.  You need to know the number of the pack but they are numbered in the order they were released.

I agree, celebs are very annoying. I've found that by deleting all the unhoused (Not in The World) celebs from the management households menu makes it all a bit better. Far less likely that a celeb will show up when my sim travels to a community venue/lot etc.

And again, yes, it would be much better if celebs only showed up at certain venue/lot types.

I delete all of the game-generated celebrities and then turn fame off. It makes a huge difference. I thought about disabling the pack, too, but I do like some of the clothes. This is by far my least favorite pack.

@Highlander I agree with everything you said, I hated the ruckus that fans would make, it drove me crazy, even more when my own Sims started doing it, without my permission I might add!

@Playalot I had my Sim go to two pools and only one Celebrity showed up, some fans did jump up and down a little, there were a few gasps and a little pointing but there was no screaming or fainting, it was so much better! Even my own Sim didn't react to Judith Ward at all, she just didn't care and kept on swimming, so I have hopes for this patch.  Just as long as they fix Vampires

I've thought about adding more of the Venues to the worlds. Adding the bowling alley, Hogans burgers to the neighborhood with the little park. Adding a nice Restaurant to downtown, if I can get on to fit on the park lot. The Celebs don't bother me that much. I just ignore them.

I had a funny example of annoying celebs tonight. I decided to play as a detective for the first time in a long time, and when he was sent on his first APB, he was looking for a female wearing jeans and a jacket, with the "Dislikes Children" trait. He showed up at a lot with three females wearing jeans and jackets, and one of them was a Proper Celebrity! He tried to strike up the necessary conversations to find the tell-tale trait, but the celeb just kept interrupting everything, jumping around and screaming, and the other two sims kept breaking off conversations to watch her.

Eventually, with time running out in the work day, I directed my sim to just arrest the celebrity. It was purely out of spite, but he did earn fame points for it!

That's too funny, did you get to play Bad Cop?  I hate it when they do that btw, Dirk Dreamer is the worst for that but Thorne Bailey is still the biggest attention hog!

Since posting the original topic, I have stumbled onto a rather hilarious solution.

I started a new game with a sim working on Scientist. The freeze ray gun works on celebrity and and papparazi alike. It may become a staple for me since you get it fairly early in the career.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen Dirk Dreamer since I zapped him. Wonder if he's still there.

Lol, that's a great use of the Sim Ray. I have had waaaaay too much fun with the Scientist career and the Sim Ray gun in the past, I have to make another scientist one day ... *Rubs hand together in evil glee*

Baby Ariel was the one causing the problems for me. Arresting her was quite satisfying!

@reggikko Lol, that's a great idea, I could just imagine the ruckus that would cause and I love that second picture, can you just imagine the headlines?!

I use those scars on my Vamps too, they looks great on them!
