@PeregrineTook, I don't have any favorites, except the family I'm currently playing. But you wouldn't know it to look at the number of chapters. The problem is that my Sims in college spend most of their time doing homework. Tiffany Landgraab should get another chapter, but there are only so many times I can take a screenshot of her kicking a soccer ball.

@reggikko, I love the Curious family, too. They were the first family I played in TS2, as I'm sure I've said before. But I don't like their house. I moved them into it so they could have the telescope on the roof, but they spend so much time moving around the house that they hardly make any points.

Here in Windenburg, we're making an effort to deal with the virus, Simvid-4.1. Everyone in our neighborhood wears a bag to prevent the spread.

And we're also trying to go green. In fact, we've succeeded! But we keep slipping back to neutral. I blame the fireplace. Anyway, I have no idea who either of these people were, but they were complying with the bag ordinance, which is the main thing.

I've been staying close to home except when I go to campus to sit in on a pre-recorded lecture. I don't really need a bicycle, but it's fun to ride it around our lot.

I spend a lot of time doing homework. Grandfather takes a bit of an interest. I think he might start taking classes once he reaches the top of his career as a lawyer. He doesn't need to sleep any more and has completed another aspiration -- that of having a successful lineage.

I was going to say that I never go anywhere, but I did go to Studio PBP in Del Sol Valley to attend the awards ceremony.

And why was I attending the awards ceremony? Well might you ask. They gave me a Starlight Accolade for the best book by a newcomer.

It was for the screenplay I wrote about Grandfather -- For Love of a Woman. I'm pretty sure it will be a success as a movie. Watch this space.

The day after the awards ceremony was Wonder Day, and I got to meet Mr. (Ms?) Flower Bunny.

I also completed the eggs collection that Grandfather started several years ago.

But I didn't have any luck with the gnomes. "They love pie," everyone told me. Well, everyone was wrong. I tried apologizing to the little fellow.

But instead of accepting my apology, he zapped me! I threw him and the other gnomes out of the house.
Anyway, despite all the interruptions, I got pretty good grades -- A+, A+, A, and a B+. I thought I was doing really well in my class on organizing a novel, but I guess not. It doesn't really matter -- I have a Starlight Accolade, after all.

He went to the Pectoral Fitness gym the other night, partly to work out, but mostly to take a shower as we were having a water conservation day. While there, he saw a Simbot leading a yoga class. "I didn't think they suffered from stress," he commented. "Or had that much flexibility."

Aside from exercise, Toby has been making things on the Fabrication machine. Or trying to.

For a while, it looked as if the only extra-curricular activity that Justice would have during his second semester at university would be a yoga class with a Simbot.

But then he met Daichi Hayashi at Darby's Den. "You should join the Debate Guild, young man!" he boomed. "Can't be a judge if you don't know the tricks those lawyers will get up to."

There was more to the Debate Guild -- not Club -- than just showing up for the occasional meeting. Justice had to convince someone to do something. He didn't want to talk either of his parents into doing his homework for him; he was pretty sure he could do a better job with the homework than they could. His mother wasn't interested in cleaning, but he did manage to get his dad to take a bath.

Among the activities was a bar night, and that looked interesting.

Justice had a short debate with his old friend Lorraine Crandall over whether a cowplant was a cow or a plant.

He couldn't believe that anyone would even try to argue that it was an actual cow.

As he left Pepper's Pub, Justice saw what happened when debates went bad: two people were fighting over whether gnomes were cute or creepy. "Depends on the gnome," he muttered. "Obviously."

A few days later, there was a more official debate -- this time over whether swimming pools were dangerous. Justice didn't win, but acquitted himself well enough to become a seasoned member.

At that point, something even more exciting happened. He met Angela Gothario and gave her a present that she liked, a poster he'd picked up in San Myshuno.

It was Love Day, and they celebrated by going out to dinner at the Sunnyside Up Diner.

Their romance bloomed.

The next evening, they met at the Romance Festival in San Myshuno, where Justice forgot that he was going to be sensible and wait until he finished his degree to get married. He proposed, and to his surprise, Angela accepted.

They exchanged their vows, Justice telling Angela that the only logical thing she could do was to marry him. "That's right," she said. "I have to be your burning donkey."
"My what?"
"That's what the guru said -- that I would brighten your days and lighten your load, just like a burning donkey."

"Whatever," said Justice.

The next morning, Angela was sick to her stomach.

She told Justice about it. Justice wasn't paying much attention. He had a term paper to write, and when he looked at Angela, all he could think was how adorable she looked in her workout clothing. "I said I threw up this morning," she repeated.
"It was probably the veggie burger at the diner," he said. "I had food poisoning, and I called up and told them about it. They refunded our dinner, with a little extra when I told them Mom was a lawyer."
"But I didn't eat my burger," said Angela. "And that was 2 days ago."
"I guess sometimes it takes a while," said Justice, going back to his paper on constitutions. Angela was totally gorgeous, but he couldn't let himself get distracted...

Ordinarily, the Curious family would be next, but they came down with Simvid-ec-134 and had to go to the hospital and then into quarantine. Their bills were so high that they lost their house and are starting over with greatly reduced funds. No time for screenshots or anything but hard work.

For a while, Jonah Cottoneye enjoyed living on his own in Glimmerbrook, going to classes and occasionally meeting a N.A.P. Inspector.

Knox Greenburg came over and became Jonah's good friend.

He rummaged around in the trash for a while.

Matilda is the older of the two. She's a little charmer who has managed to get potty-trained despite some early failures.

The two of them are very fond of each other even though Matilda was initially sad about having a sibling.

Jonah loves the little ones, but he cherishes those quiet moments when he can work on making a robot. Despite having little time to do homework, he managed to get an A+ in each of his 4 courses. Just one more term to go!

As befitted an heir, Gina got her own bedroom and bathroom. And since there wasn't enough space for her dollhouse in the bedroom, it went into the bath.

Gina Caliente approved of her domain. As the first heiress in her generation, and the first toddler ever to be the designated Sim, she felt justified in considering herself to be a princess.

And as a princess, she was free to throw off all her clothing, if that was what she felt like.

Plus she could choose any toy in her box to play with, including the one that her parents said was a little Grim Reaper.

There was only one person who didn't seem to understand that Gina was a princess, one person who scolded her when she threw food on the floor.

Her mother. But that didn't matter so much because her mother went off to work.

And Gina's father would let her play as much as she wanted, even throwing her in the air if that was what she wanted to do.

Sadly, she couldn't stay awake all the time, but had to go to bed occasionally. When she got older, Gina planned to do something about that.

Tiffany wasn't quite sure this was the adventure they'd anticipated. Twins? Both girls, despite the pink and blue bassinets.

"I was a twin, so I should know what to expect, but I don't really remember being a toddler. Any thoughts?" Carl asked his father-in-law, Sterling.
Sterling chuckled. "One thing I can say, given how skinny you and my daughter are, the kids will probably become invisible when they turn sideways."

But Porsche (dark-haired, in the high chair) and Mazda (blond, on Tiffany's back) seemed to be quite substantial and not at all likely to disappear.

Sometimes I think the perfect size is 1 household, 1 Sim. But yes, I am fond of all of them.
The Grim Reaper was in a neighborhood with the We Wear Bags NAP. It's odd that his whole body disappears when he can't wear his hood. As for Knox taking the computer, that seems to be the favorite item next to the sink. Jonah now keeps his laptop in inventory when not using it.

I'm trying to work out who is related to whom. I might have a couple of inter-family marriages in this generation, but most of them will be marrying outside the 10 families.
