Sim stuck on Family Leave

Hi,

My level 9 Actress is stuck on family leave. Her child is now a toddler. I have no option on my phone to get off it. I have tried to reset her, log out of the game, changed talent agency. There was no way for her to go to her acting gig. I rather not have to quit, but is that my only option?

Have you tried going on a vacation? Maybe that will reset it if you use vacation days.  I think the family leave situation might be a little messed up because I've noticed that my sims go to work and are called to work regularly and dont actually take any family leave, but the pop up to return to work after family leave still pops up.

I have the opposite problem - my sims don't have the option to take family leave when they have kids (or in late pregnancy) but they still get the "no more family leave" warning. Using vacation days did not fix that - I just lost them as usual and the option for family leave did not appear anyway.

The No Family Leave option has been a known bug for awhile.

I know it's an old bug but for some reason, I thought it was supposed to be fixed in some of the last patches. Guess not, meh. Guess the best way is to have grandparents alive for efficiency.
