Additional mystery and danger boxes

Hello,

I am playing the Magician career.  The problem I am having is that the game continuously generates Mystery and Danger boxes in my game inventory (not the family inventory).  The game does not allow me to delete or sell these excess boxes.  Has anyone figured out a way to eliminate all these extras?  Please advise.  Thanks.

It looks like these boxes might be perks of leveling up?  I am not entirely sure. I've never played a magician. But here's what I found while searching about your question:
