Climbing wall question
« on: December 22, 2018, 09:21:57 AM »
Hope I am not posting in a wrong section. Sorry, if yes.

Anyway, since there are Xmas sales, I was looking at some smaller DLCs. Is the climbing wall from Fitness Stuff something you can place on your home lot (indoor or outdoor) or is it limited to gym venues?

You can place the wall in your home ( you may need to adjust wall height) and outdoors. Like other electronics it won't work in rain :o

Thanks for the answer.
It's electronic? I thought it's like the climbing wall in my city - a large slab of concrete with handholds screwed into it - which is why I asked if it can be even put on a home lot because the one I saw in my city is like 6-7m tall.
So, does it require a double wall or is 1,5 enough?

It requires a large double roof height. I use it indoors but remove the ceiling of the ground floor so that the 'gym room' is basically open up to the second story - that way it fits inside. If you don't have Seasons then you can use it outside easily.

Thanks for telling me. Well, I have seasons and I hate massive rebuilding (more so if for one item) and/or using some weird shenanigans to allow placement.
Glad I asked, saved me some trouble. Seems I'll pass on it, then.
