Sims randomly resetting since patch today

Since the new patch, my sims will be in the middle of something and then suddenly they will reset. It's only started with the new patch, I've done a repair and I don't have any mods.. is anyone else having this issue?

You mention you repaired the game. Have you tried deleting game cache and
localthumbcahche.package file from The Sims 4 folder to help with troubleshooting.

If it still happening after that, try resetting your Sims 4 folder, and test with a new save. If still having problems don't save.

I had this issue too until I deleted the cashe files and then repaired the game as MrsFlynn suggested. It fixed it for me more than once when such issues appeared.

Thank you guys, have cleaned all the cache etc.. am hoping that will be the end of it!
