In the requirements to move to Low Tech  - does each founder and heir have to max 5 of the 7 skills or is that the number of skills they have to max combined?

The 5 skills have to be maxed -- how many Sims is your choice, but each skill has to be maxed only once to count. I think once Lena's spread sheet is up, it will be clearer.

@oshizu, I think you can do all of these if you want. We're trying to cut back on restrictions, although each era has some restrictions regarding build mode in particular.

Does it matter how many generations we spend in each era? Can we spend 1 generation in No tech, but spend 2 or 3 generations in More tech (as examples)?

Yes. The number of generations you have for each era is up to you.

Do not start your file until Dec 3 because more rule modifications are likely. You never know when bugs get patched etc., so everyone needs to start under the same conditions. Ideally. Hehe.
