I'm running out of space on my c drive... kinda went crazy downloading a lot of CC and now my C drive has a big scary red bar lol.... I saw that you can move the documents but it won't break my game will it? I'm super nervous to do it!
also! sims 4 is downloaded on my c drive. does that matter?

It shouldn't break your game, as in you won't loose game progress, saved games, mods and such. If you're nervous about that, back the Sims 4 folder to the desktop or a USB key for safe keeping.
Having the game installed on your C drive shouldn't matter. That's usually the default install drive.
It is possible to change where the game gets installed.
This link explains how to move your sims 4 game to another drive.

Or the video linked below shows how to do it.

Well... I did it, but I didn't name my new Documents folder... so now I don't see any of my other D drive items... Do you know of a way to fix that?
edit: I mean because I forgot to name it, I don't know what was in documents and what wasn't.

Try doing a search on your computer for Sims 4 to see where that takes you. It should take you to some where like: D:\Users\Username\"Documents"\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
To search your computer, Click Start and search for Sims 4. Does it show you where Sims 4 is on your D drive?
