So the Fergussons were able to put 14 YA out, and only stayed home 3 YA and a toddler.


YA Out — 5 pts *14 = 70
YA In   — 4 pts *3 = 12
Toddler — 1 pts*1=1
Total of 70+12+1 = 83 points

Mama and Papa Boomer had 3 YA in house, 2 Teens, and 1 Child.

3x4 = 12
2x3 =  6
1x2 =  2

For a total of 20 points.

This challenge was more difficult for me than I thought it would be.

My third challenge and so far the hardest.
Dad still has a full day before he turns elder, but I simply don't have another day for playing - strictly speaking, I didn't have time to do this challenge at all, but I wanted to give it a go, especially since I missed Jokers Wild already.

Again I learned lots, like what I'll do differently next year... but I'm happy, as this is my first attempt ever at Baby Boomer, no practise run. Also, I'm going on vacation tomorrow.

I didn't have time to playtest this one.  There were a number of places where I thought "oh, if I had play tested, I would have done this differently."  But still learned some stuff.

 I've barely managed this score:

4 YA out - 1 child and 1 toddler inside.

4 * 5 = 20; 20 + 2 + 2 = 23 on total.

Not going to get a score in for this one which is a shame because this was always the one I was really looking forward to all year (I looked through previous years and saw this was done annually). I didn't even leave it last minute but still didn't leave enough time. I was hoping to do every single challenge this year, but to be honest I'm a little burnt out and the last couple I've left until last minute and felt too rushed to finish them properly. Think I'm going to take a long break, maybe even not participate again this year, and hopefully see you all again for 2019. Good luck in the rest of the challenges everyone.

I really enjoyed this challenge which surprised me, cause I usually find trying to manage households of 8 quite overwhelming.  Anyway my sim parents managed to have 10 children in all for a total of 37 points.
