Notes:

For this house, I mostly could only control my main sim. For parts of the competition, I could, on occasion control the other members of the household in order to get them to participate in various activities. I’ve kind of changed up the narrative, but I followed the rules (with one exception—giving myself a pass, though). The challenge for this house is divided into two parts and the official rules are here.

Also, when you complete Mansion Baron in the previous challenge, you get to build/place a nightclub in Willow Creek that you can now travel to, which I had totally forgotten until I got to this challenge.

And lastly, with this house, "*ANY and all possible (allowed) Whims between the Main Sim and the Contestants in the Active Household must be pinned and completed as soon as possible, regardless of who might be in attendance.  The following Whims are not allowed and should be dismissed:

We have selected seven sims who will live on the lot with you. For the next ten days, you will interact with them with the aim of seeing who is best suited to be your partner.

As a large portion of this house is designed at researching impulse control, you agree to indulge in any and all possible whims that occur to you with the exception of “ask to be a boyfriend/girlfriend,” propose to,” “get married to,” or “try for baby.”

The science has advanced to such a degree that no one will age during this portion of the Project.
You will continue to take the daily supplements we will mail to you.

By signing this agreement, you are pledging to spend the entirety of your life to this Project.

Please return the signed agreement and let us know what level of difficulty you want by the close of business today. We expect regular reports on your progress.

Journal entry, Margaery Tyrell

It is so weird being the only one from my family here. Before Mum and Dad left, we sold off a bunch of things so that the bills wouldn’t be out of control. Money isn’t really an issue, though. There’s a balance of nearly 900,000 simoleons!

The first (I guess I call them contestants?) is a guy named Oberyn Martell. His ambition is to be Chief of Mischief. He’s clumsy, ambitious, and insane. I know that should have put me off him, but he’s really cute.



The second contestant is Sansa Stark and oh my gods, she’s hot. Red hair, legs for days and she’s so sweet. She wants to be a Friend to the Animals. She’s a foodie, neat, and childish. I guess that’s why she seemed so innocent.



Then there’s Walda Frey. She’s not conventionally built or pretty, but I liked her a lot immediately. She told me she wants a big happy family. She’s cheerful, a kleptomaniac, and neat. Not gonna worry too much about the first trait. We have a ton of money.



Number four is a guy named Roose Bolton. I don’t know why I found him attractive because he’s balding and he has terrible clothes, but I do. I shouldn’t like him at all. He wants to be a painter extraordinaire which seems normal, but he’s evil (well, he’s also outgoing and a vegetarian, but the evil kind of cancels out the other two).





Before I even met the others, I started flirting with Oberyn. I’m glad I don’t have to curb my impulses because I couldn’t stop myself. I just kept flirting and flirting. He seemed to like it too.



When he went to go wash dishes I wandered outside and saw Sansa playing the piano (badly). She was so sweet, though, as we talked about school and dreams.



I also met everyone else, although I forgot to take their pictures. Mya Stone is a super cute brunette who wants to be a mansion baron. She’s also outgoing, a slob, and a bro.



There’s Addam Marbrand, who has red hair. His aspiration is successful lineage. He’s active, a geek, and an art lover. And then there’s Edric Dayne. Edric has silver hair, violet eyes and his aspiration is Public Enemy. He’s an insider, outgoing, and a dog lover.

They’re all cute and I tried to flirt with all of them.

The good thing, she won't have to look at people passing around hoping one won't be from her family or married.

It's interesting the contestants are of mixed gender. I can't wait to see and know them better.

I'm trying to keep it all fresh and once I discovered there's a setting to allow for pregnancy between couples of the same gender, I was like yes! Let's do the thing.

Sansa is one of my favorite GoT/ASoIaF characters and I was determined at some point to have a Sansa Stark in this.

I am not good at CAS at all. I did look on the gallery, but in some cases, the ones I wanted to use weren't there, had skills already, or some just didn't look like I wanted them to. So I just basically blundered around in CAS and came up with my versions. I gave each of them one trait that I felt really represented the original characters from A Song of Ice and Fire (e.g. Roose is evil). And then I used a random trait generator for the rest.

At 4PM, you are to hold a party. You have options: black and white bash, weenie roast, house party, incognito costume party, dinner party, spooky party. You may purchase whatever you require for this event.

This party must take place on your lot.

At 11PM, you will offer a rose to the household member with whom you enjoy the highest relationship status.

The member with the lowest relationship status must immediately leave.

At 12AM, everyone in the household must go to sleep.

Today started off great. I found Oberyn swimming in the river out back. We talked and I flirted with him and even though I don’t really know him really well, I told him a dirty joke. He seemed to like it fine.



I talked a little to Mya and I flirted with her, but there was nothing. It was weird. She seems nice enough, but we didn’t even click on a platonic level.

I had better luck with Addam and Edric.

Roose has absolutely awful clothes and he’s bald (I know I keep saying that, but he does), but I felt so confident and used a bold pick-up line on him. Walda looked uncertain, but she didn’t judge me. I guess everyone must realize that since this is a competition this stuff is going to happen.

Oberyn went swimming in his clothes later on in the day. Maybe the insane trait is a little much even if he is cute.



We had a black and white party which everyone really enjoyed. I had no idea Walda could look that good and don’t get me started on how hot Sansa was.

More detail in your reports would be appreciated. We are especially interested in knowing which whims you felt and satisfied.

At 8AM, you will purchase 6 easels. The other members of the household will complete a small painting. At the end of the competition, evaluate the value of the paintings. The two with the highest value will go on a group outing with you the next day.

At 2PM, you will travel with the four who had the lowest value paintings to any available travel location

At 5PM, the household member in this group with the highest relationship status with you receives a rose.

Return to the lot at 6PM and evict the member with the lowest relationship status.

At midnight, you are all to go to sleep.

The painting thing felt kind of weird. They all were pretty much terrible at it, but Walda and Edric had the highest scores.



Addam, Oberyn, Sansa, Roose, and I went to the King’s Road Hotel which is officially a nightclub.



This seems strange to be putting in an official report, but I had the urge to embrace Roose and did.



Addam and I talked a lot.



I flirted with him, but Roose came out with a bowl of chips right in the middle of it and was upset.



Then Addam got upset and then I got upset.



Then these random people came by and then it got even weirder especially when I gave Addam a rose.



We got back and even though I had a pink bar with him, Oberyn left.

I had leftovers with Roose and Sansa. It’s odd because I really like Sansa, but I find Roose so attractive.



Mum came over. I was relieved that everyone was off doing other stuff. Roose and Edric were dancing in the office. I’m not sure about Walda, Sansa, and Addam.

Loving the random nature of this.  If she pops a whim with no name attached, how do you decide who gets to be the target?  For example, if she's chatting with Roose and Sansa and pops a whim to use a bold pick-up line, how do you determine who she uses it on?

Generally, most of the whims were specific to the sims who were nearby or with whom she'd had interactions most recently. And in the beginning when they were simply "flirt" or whatever, I went with whoever was nearest because it's a big lot and it just took long to get Margaery in the right vicinity to anyone else and aside from specific times where everyone needed to paint or go to bed or whatever, I could only control her.

I saw Walda, Sansa, and Roose at breakfast. Maybe it was the cold shower I took, but for the first time I didn’t want to flirt with anyone. I did tell Walda a joke and I had the impulse to be friendly to Sansa.



Later at the pool, Roose came and joined me and tried to flirt with me.



Edric and Walda and I went out to a nightclub* and danced. It was fun and I got all flirty with Walda and ended up giving her a rose.



Weirdly, though, I met Vlad (I could have sworn he was a vampire so what was he doing out in the daytime???).



I evicted Edric.



Journal Entry, Margaery Tyrell

I don’t care how much detail this Maester Qyburn wants, I am not telling him about what happened.

As soon as we got back to the house, I ran into Roose in the upstairs hallway. I had the urge to kiss him again—And then uh, we woohooed. I used birth control.








He fell asleep after and I changed clothes. I was thinking maybe he was the One when I went down to the kitchen to make some food. I took one of my supplements and two minutes later, I started flirting with Sansa. Like I couldn’t stop myself.



Afterward, I took a cold shower and locked myself in the shed with “archives.” That’s what Dad called all the boxes with stuff about the Project. I’ve looked through them before—Mum and Dad insisted, but this time I knew what I was looking for.

I traveled to town and visited the drug store. They have a drop off kiosk for prescriptions that people are done with. I threw all the supplements in there.

*Watcher's Note: At this point in the challenge, I was not supposed to go to that particular nightclub, but I didn't realize it till I was almost done with the second part of this house.

Whoa!  Massively unfair increase to Roose's pink bar!!  Poor Sansa!!  I mean, she was right there being gorgeous and available!!
The supplement is an interesting twist.  Wonder how things will change with the removal of said item?

I can't help the pink bar, lol. Don't worry, though, there are more twists and turns to come (also Margaery really really hates Roose's clothes). This is what happens when the lead character gets the romantic trait and the watcher mistakenly thinks a boost is needed and uses that as a lot trait too.

From 8AM until 10AM, the other members of the household will fish at any of the fishing locations in your neighborhood.

The individual who has caught the greatest number of fish has won.

Roose won the fishing competition by like a cichlid.



He looked so smug.

I haven’t had one of those “supplements” in over twelve hours, but I kept wanting to flirt and kiss everyone and … I did. I go from being just fine to incredibly flirty in like seconds.

There I was in the office. Roose was doing something on the computer. He stepped out for a minute Addam came in and we started chatting.



Before I knew it we were flirting and then kissing.



Thankfully, it was over before Roose came back, but still.

Maybe it’s because I know Roose is evil and not really great husband material…



I have taken 3 cold showers and it’s not even 2PM. I went to the playhouse to watch some TV and saw Sansa there.

“Are you okay?” she asked me.

“I don’t know.”

“Because if you want to talk, I’m here for you.”

I told her that I was having doubts about this competition. “It always seemed so fun on TV. And here it’s just so …”

Sansa nodded. “At least we don’t have cameras on us all the time.”

We weren’t flirting. Not exactly. She was so kind and sweet and I kissed her. 



If I’ve enjoyed kissing the others and uh, woohooing with Roose, this felt like… well, right.

Roose won the fishing competition. We went to the Green Grille for our date. He had a meatless Monte Cristo. I had a veggie stir fry.



I’ve been flirting with everyone, but most of my impulses have been to be friendly or funny.



For the group date, we went to San Myshuno Meadows. Something happened to my phone so I don’t have pics for you.

Walda has been evicted. We’re still friends, but she was so upset when she saw me kissing Roose that it really killed the romance.

I feel terrible about Walda. We had spent a lot of the day getting to know each other. She’s just so nice.





Roose acts like he’s got a lock on this thing, but he must want to be super certain, because we’d just reached the park when he planted one on me in front of everyone.

Walda wasn’t the only one who was upset.



Sansa was freaking out too. I chased after her.

“It’s fine,” she kept saying, looking like it was anything but fine.

“No, it’s not.”

“I’m fine,” Sansa said again. She stalked off to play basketball and wouldn’t speak to me for the rest of the night.

The truth is, Sansa could have been kicked out, she was that upset with me.




“Are you okay?” Addam asked while Roose went to the food stalls.

“No.”

We talked for a while, like really talked. He’s sweet. Not as kind as Sansa, but I like him a lot and he listened to me as I expressed my doubts about the Project.

“Look,” he said. “We’ve all seen the Bachelorette. We knew what we were getting into. Don’t worry so much and definitely don’t worry about me. I don’t get jealous.”

I still felt like a heel when I had to evict Walda.

I think I'm rooting for anyone but Roose.  Maester Qyburn is just a little too interested in all of this.  What's up with him? (I know you can't answer that yet).

Margaery is sweet, and this part of her challenge is so different from the other drifter projects.  Can't blame her for wondering what she got herself into.  I'm glad she stopped taking the supplements.
