New Bug? No Longer Catch Frogs in Ponds

Ponds seemed to have lost the interaction for frog catching. There is an open bug report : https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Sims-can-t-catch-frogs-in-ponds/td-p/6892548

If anyone wants to test this out in a current game that would be great.

I have it, in a starting new game, and I don't have Seasons installed.

I wonder if it's supposed to not appear in some seasons, and that it erased it from base game.

I have Seasons installed and my scouting children can only acquire frogs from looking in logs and those stone-sink-like-thingies.
All they can do in ponds is fish...
I wonder if this change/bug/nerf is related to Scouting's Outdoor Adventure badge.

I've tried it in all seasons and the action is simply not there in all of them. Well, in the past we'd have just called this a bug but now I'm more inclined to say 'wait and see' and allow the QA guys time to inform us if this nerf is intentional. Thanks for trying it out in your games, least we know it is the same for everyone now.

I haven't played for a while, and just 'discovered' this issue.  I looked at the thread posted above with the bug report. No EA reply still.  Is there anywhere else that anyone has seen to provide a confirmation of this being a nerf vs a bug?

Nothing yet so until we know officially I guess it's a 'bug'. Makes completing the frog collection very slow if you're playing a one sim household that's for sure!

Good news!  I had noticed the missing frogs in the ponds also but after the most recent update Frogs are back. I found them in the Willow Creek Pond.
