"Adventures of Pingasut"As everyone who has played a Dynasty knows, finding a suitable mate for the next generation can be challenging. Pingasut starts early by meeting her classmates. Saturday morning, she goes to visit Otis Manning. As she looks around the house at the plaid couches, she's grateful that her future husband will come and live with her family instead of the other way round.
Pingasut following her teen birthday. Her traits at this point: Friendly, Disciplined, Bookworm, Lucky.
Shortly after becoming a teenager, Ping pops a wish to take on the Martial Arts Master LTW. We lock it in, and she and Asa read the first chapter of the Martial Arts book that was purchased from the Consignment store. Nobody in this dynasty has travelled yet, so the book is all they have. Obviously travel is going to be essential with this LTW, but given the many travel problems I've had in my games, I want Ping to do as much at home as possible before risking a trip. Once Ping and Asa have their first level, they start sparring regularly. Here they are in the park, with Asa's other daughter - Ping's half-sister Ariadne - covering her eyes:
Friday arrives, the end of her first week as a teenager. Ping has quite a few sparring matches under her belt, thanks to Asa, but he really needs to get working on his ice sculptures, So it's time for our girl to head off to China.
She immediately joins the Tournament. Of course, she loses a lot of matches at this point, but that's ok as all the sparring she does increases her skill and counts toward the Sim Fu King skill challenge.
When fatigue sets in, she decides to try her hand at a little vacation romance. Here she is visiting Wang (Weng?) Lu in his home, closely chaperoned by Wang's father.
At the end of the trip, she has made it up to level 3 in the Tournament and made a lot of new friends. She vows to return next weekend.
