Those aren't the only ones.  Most of the pictures are missing from all of my posts in this thread.  I have no idea what's wrong.  Could there be something wrong with the in-house image posting program?

I can see all the pictures fine. I looked back through the thread and I don't get any red x's at all.

I can see them fine now.  It must have been a glitch that corrected itself.

"Malrok's Choice"

The morning after her birthday, Malrok sits in her pyjamas eating leftover birthday cake and thinking about her party.  She has made her decision.  She makes the phone call that will change her life.



Malrok:  Asa, you are Bachelor #1!  I choose you.  Marry me!
Asa:  I accept!
Malrok:  Of course you do.





As soon as the private ceremony ends, Malrok gives Asa his instructions:  get over to Create-a-Sim and pick up new clothes and get a haircut.



I decided to go with the long hair so you could see Asa's glossy purple locks.  Only in Sims could you go for a haircut and wind up with longer hair.

Later ...

Malrok:  So, Asa - shall we do an experiment in genetics?  Will our child inherit my blond hair or your purple hair?
Asa:  Let's find out!



Christopher (who was apparently listening outside the door):  I can't believe they're trying for baby already!  That daughter of mine isn't wasting any time!



[Editor's note:  Yeah, I know it seems like deja vu - another Goth boy joins the dynasty.   I really was trying for one of the others.  But he was the closest in age to Malrok, and the only one of the 3 with a decent personality.  I finally decided to accept the inevitable.  Asa's traits:  Great Kisser, Brave, Easily Impressed, Over-emotional, Childish.  He wants to be an Astronaut.  And he has level 5 painting skill.  He brought only $1300 and a cheap car to the household, but that doesn't matter at this point.]

Ignore what I said earlier if there is any possible way to get the blood of original townies into your dynasty you should do it.

"Malrok and Asa's Talk"

The day after the wedding, Asa starts his new job at the military base.  When he gets home, Malrok is waiting to tell him the exciting news.

Malrok:  Good news, Asa!  We're going to have a baby.
Asa:  That's great!  A little brother or sister for Ariadne!



Malrok:  What?!
Asa:  Uh - I've been meaning to tell you about that.  You know that Melodie and I were ... seeing each other ... before you and I got married?  Baby Ariadne was just born today!
Malrok:  Is that so.  It sounds like you and Melodie were doing a little more than just "seeing" each other.
Asa (wondering why he didn't keep his big mouth shut):  I thought it was just a woohoo!  I didn't know she was going to try for baby!
Malrok:  Any other little secrets you've been keeping, Asa?  If so, I would strongly advise you to say so Now.
Asa:  Malrok, you have to understand!  It was before you and I got together.  I haven't seen Melodie since we got married.  There's nobody but you in my life.
Malrok:  I hope so, Asa.  I really hope so.  I'm going to forgive you this time.  Because it will never happen again.  Will it?
Asa:  I'm sorry, Malrok.  I'll never look at any other woman again.
Malrok:  I hope you're telling the truth, Asa.  Have you ever seen the big wrench my mother carries around with her?
Asa:  Wrench?
Malrok:  She loves to use her wrench, Asa.  She's very good with her wrench.  Do you understand what I'm saying?
Asa:  I think so.
Malrok:  And my father keeps his sculpting chisel very sharp, Asa.  Both Mother and Father would be very upset if they thought you weren't treating me right.  You really don't want them to think that.
Asa:  I'm really sorry!  It will never happen again!
Malrok:  I forgive you.
Asa:  So what do you think we should name the baby?
Malrok:  My mother already has all the children's names picked out.  And it's definitely not going to be Ariadne.

Well, it came as a shock to all of us when the message came up that Asa's daughter had just been born.  In Malrok's condition, she shouldn't have to worry about what her husband is getting up to when he goes out.

I think if you read the newspaper it tells you what's going on on the other sims.
And Asa better keep tight reigns on her hubby from now on!

Yeah, I've never seen it before either and it confused me at first, coming right after Malrok's pregnancy.  But I assume the message came up because it was Asa's child. 

And Asa better keep tight reigns on her hubby from now on!
