"My First Day"My first day in Sunset Valley. One of my first stops will be the Consignment store to consign some vegetables and shop for a new look, but for now here I am in my old clothing.
I am broke, unemployed, without skills, and completely alone in the world. But I am confident I can turn my life around by the end of the day. Just watch me.
1. With my coffers almost empty, I choose to spend $400 on a cooking class at the Diner. Emma Hatch is teaching the class, sees my obvious talent, and offers me a job on the spot. It is the most menial job, but I am confident I will quickly move up. I am very happy about my new job and cooking skill. Now on to the next item on my list.
2. I knock on the door of SV's most eligible bachelor. His name is Christopher, and he is glad to see me. He invites me in to the bathroom (?) for a cozy chat.
Soon we are friends. I leave to visit the Consignment store, then Chris and I meet for a picnic in the park. [Edit: That picture was taken later! What idiot made that mistake? Shape up, Schipperke.]
3. My home is still a big empty lot, so after the picnic I head over to the fire station to sleep. I have a busy night planned and I want to be well rested.
I change into my night attire and get ready to work.
Did you think I was planning to visit a nightclub? Go drinking? Not I. This is
work. Serious stuff. Camping at the firestation is not part of my plan. I am giving the good citizens of Sunset Valley an opportunity to be charitable to a needy newcomer.
Tired but happy after my night's labours, I return home to my brand-new bed, paid for by Agnes Crumplebottom.
*Yes, I'm back to using the in-house small pictures! Sorry. But I tried and tried and couldn't get the new system to work - the pictures just kept showing as red x's. I know these small pictures are a lot less attractive, but at least I know how to do it. Perhaps I'll try the other system again, but right now I'm just frustrated. I'm not a technophobe, just technologically challenged.
