Death Flower, keep it, or Plant it.
« on: December 21, 2010, 02:15:28 AM »
I really need help.

I was in the graveyard and had just came out of the catacombs, and I found a death flower plant, with a death flower on it, so I picked it, and the plant died like normal. But now I'm not sure what to do with it.

Keep it for when my sim needs it, or.. Plant it in the ground (he's a gardener).

What should I do?

Also, can I bring it back to life after i've harvested it?

If your Sim has the Green Thumb trait, he will be able to revive the dead plant after harvesting the flower.  It's not 100%, but there's a good chance of it.  If he's able to revive it, you can harvest a second Death Flower.  It just depends on what you're doing in your game and whether you think you'll need more than one.

I guess you could plant it over and over until it reaches Perfect Quality. Not sure if this is pointless, but it's the only reason you'd plant it, unless you have that trait thingy.

I have no idea... A little confused right now.

Maybe the one you get in the graveyard is always Perfect, but others like the ones you may find from rabbitholes (catacombs, mining hole) and the ones from buydebug come in Normal quality? (Not even sure if you can find them in catacombs and mining holes)

My Sim has 17 Deathflowers in her inventory and they are all perfect.  She's been growing them for quite some time, though.  But I don't recall seeing a less than perfect quality Deathflower.  It would be interesting to see if the Special Seeds ever produce a less than perfect Deathflower.

I got a Death Flower of very nice quality. Originally, my sims got the "Death Seed" after travelling to future even or past (I forgot it).
The quality of seed is normal. I don't know whether this very nice one will work as same as perfect one.
Now I realize playing the Sims 3 on Mac is playing the game of installation and uninstallation...

All the Deathflowers I've ever seen were perfect.  Good thing - I'd hate to have my sim have to rely on an imperfect one to save them from Grim!  ;D

Mine have always been perfect also.  I didn't think there was a death flower below that. :)
