Best way to kill a sim
« on: June 23, 2018, 12:50:54 AM »
Since cheats are not working, I wanted to start a thread where we could talk about the best methods to kill a sim.

Currently trying to kill a sim by laughter, for the last 3 human hours, it hasn't worked.

Previously attempted to kill a sim by exhaustion, needs failed to decay enough to kill them.

So, for those of you out there with a taste to kill sims, what methods are worth trying?

Cow plant's always a sure deal. Not too difficult to arrange if you can catch a berry or graft one quickly. Other than that the old, 'get 'em tired and fence 'em into a pool' is the quickest.

Playalot, I tried fencing them in a pool, didn't work... they unfortunately lived, I was close but the game decided not to kill them.

Death by heat worked... lock the sim/s in a room, stick a fireplace in it, and put a thermostat in as well, light the fire and set the thermostat to heat (especially on heatwave days), put your sim/s in warm clothing and continue to warm self by the fire until dead...

Wow! Weird, works without fail every time for me, once the sim is tired it doesn't take very long for them to drown. I find it by far the quickest death to enact.

In my legacy, my sims tried to drown a sim who stayed alive in a fenced-in pool for several days, even with zero energy.
It turns out that tragic clowns can't be drowned (but she could burn to death).

Doubly weird, just tested it out and my sim drowned in next to no time... I don't know why there should be differences but there ya have it - this game has it's oddities.
