CC and prepping for Seasons

Between the patch and Seasons, I think I'd just like to move everything out of my game for a few weeks.
What's the best way to do this? Can I simply move the whole mod folder out with a cut and paste? Or do I need to do something more elaborate?

Yes, you can simply cut and paste the Mods folder from the Sims 4 folder to the desktop, a usb key or external hard drive.
If you'd like, to make sure Sims 4 files are backed up. Copy the folder to the desktop, usb key or external hard drive.
