Really clever and different spin on this household.  Actually, every household has felt nicely unique, so kudos on keeping the challenge fresh and interesting!

Ah, the pitfalls of the epistolary type story. Not shown: me having my sims painstakingly asking every sim they met about their traits so I could find out who had good ones. Trust me, she was carefully selected. She's just that good a spy

Our daughter, Margaery was born last night. After a visit from her mother and sister, Cerenna was enjoying some mac and cheese with our newest housemate, Nylah, when she went into labor.



Mother and baby are doing fine. It was disconcerting to see a ghost on the hospital staff.







While we were at the hospital, major construction began on the main structure on the lot.

Field Report from Sarella Waters

When I returned from work, the existing house had been demolished and two new structures had been erected in its place.



The main house consists of two floors. The kitchen and living room are to the left and right of the front door respectively. Behind them from left to right are the office, downstairs bedroom, and guest bath. There is a front porch. According to the plans one of the workmen showed me, there will be a back porch as well. Upstairs there is a front bedroom, full bath, the baby’s bedroom, and the master suite.

This photo which has Cerenna’s father and a town in the foreground will give you an idea of the rough style of the house.



There is a now a small two-story guest house with a wrap-around porch. There is a very empty living area on the first floor. You gain access to the upstairs which has a small bedroom and bath.



When everyone returned, we had a group meeting to determine who will have which space. Jenny doesn’t seem to care as she spends every spare second either playing the violin or piano or painting. They offered the guest house to me, but I made a point of mentioning how onerous the gardening was on Nylah and suggested they restrict the upstairs to her as a reward. This will enable me to stay in the thick of things.

There appears to be no dearth of funds. After the meeting, I approached Willas and asked if I might help out with the books. He cheerfully agreed. Thus far all income seems to tally.



There has been no interpersonal weirdness between any of the subjects.  Perhaps reports of inappropriate research at No Sim Left Behind are erroneous?

Hi,

I don’t know who called you or why they’re worried, but I’m all good here.

Everyone here works very hard. Jenny has been slaving along on a couple of different songs in addition to her actual job. Cerenna’s always working on freelance work as well as her actual job as a start-up entrepreneur.





You mentioned excessive gardening, but I’m not the only one who pitches in with that. In fact, Cerenna was able to get a gardener to come in Monday through Friday who does the bulk of the work.



I have a really nice private apartment and access to top-of-the-line items. The worst thing I’ve experienced here is when someone didn’t label the stir fry as having chicken in it.

Field Report from Sarella Waters

While ostensibly playing My Sims Forever, I uncovered a piece of snail mail from No Sim Left Behind. Attached is the screenshot I took. There is no other record of this Maester Qyburn in any of the documents Willas keeps on the Project.

Subjects in the household held a birthday celebration for me. At my request, there were no presents. Please advise if you wish me to fill out a DESITG-380R to formally report this.





Cerenna is pregnant again.



Her brother, Tommen came over to stay with Margaery while Cerenna went to the hospital with her mother. Her son is named Garlan.

Maester Qyburn.  That name sounds like it should belong to a professor at Hogwart's  ;=)  Anyway, I've decided he is a mad scientist and is trying to clone Margaery.  Until proven otherwise, that's my theory and I have officially called dibs on being the first to make that guess ;=)
It was another lovely update and very artfully delivered challenge progress through seamless usage of narrative.  Kudos!

It's curious to have the narration shift from the main family's report to the outside spy. I'm just happy Sarella apparenly isn't reporting to Maester Qyburn who seems to be the more fishy for now.

On the wild and unfounded guesses side, I'll take the option of Qyburn trying to prove being drifters for generation impacts DNA.  Margaery seems to favor her grand mother for now, I wonder what her little brother will look like.

I like to name my sims after characters from A Song from Ice and Fire. Sometimes mine don't resemble their counterparts...sometimes they do.

Journal entry, Cerenna Lannister Tyrell

Mama came over to tell me that Daddy died. I am glad he had a chance to meet Margaery, but am disappointed he died too soon to meet Garlan.



It’s so weird seeing Mama with grey hair. I may have written that before. I know I’ve talked to Willas about it.



We get along so much better now that we don’t live with one another. She did suggest I update my wardrobe now that I’ve got two children. For the first time I managed to not snap that since she was an elder, she should update her own wardrobe.

Myrielle came by too. I don’t know why she and Jenny rub each other the wrong way. She kind of freaked out about Sarella too. Said she was way too noisy and that she saw Sarella rifling through the files. When I explained that Sarella did our books, she let loose with some forbidden words and told me we were too naïve.



Margaery had her birthday. She got the outgoing trait, which should help her a lot.



We’re struggling trying to get the value of the house up. I know we could enlarge the main house, but it’s so workable at its current size.

Money isn’t a problem. We have so much now with our combined salaries and reward objects and all the paintings, books, songs, and computer programs we sell or earn royalties from.

Garlan aged up to a toddler. He’s wild, but so sweet that it doesn’t seem to matter.



Willas suggested we build the kids a playhouse and put all the toys out there. Margaery spends a lot of her time there and has been working on artistic prodigy and whiz kid. It works out quite well. She loves to draw and Sarella needs someone to play with to get her own logic skill up.





Meanwhile Jenny is becoming quite famous as a musician. Her latest song “Bear and the Maiden Fair” is bringing in a lot of money.

Margaery is just a lovely young lady!
It was fun seeing several members of the family swing by again.  I've definitely enjoyed the continual reappearances of the extended family throughout this story.
