A new Gardening Career! That sounds good. And looks like children at least have a swing set! Weirdly I have really missed this item.

*pops the champagne*  This is what I've been waiting so patiently for!  Weather!  A reason to break out the Spooky Stuff pack!  Cultivating flowers has a purpose now other than inventory selling the flowers!  My interest in the sims has been lagging for a while, especially after the pets expansion was not what I'd hoped for, but Seasons is looking super!

I have used way too many exclamation points, but this is a definite buy.

Confirmed by SimGuruKate there is no new worlds with Seasons as they wanted to focus on getting weather right on all existing worlds and neighborhoods. Apparently the jungle looks amazing with rain!

I did enjoy the trailer very much. My top three expansions on any new Sims title are:

* Magical beings
* Pets
* Seasonal weather and holidays

Now if they'd just produce an expansion where Sims could practice magic, I'd be a happy clam. 

And I do admit I have yet to buy these expansions but money is a bit tight right now.

Oh, so many of the things I've really wanted. Top of the list are something to do with all the flowers, a gardening career and greenhouses (fingers crossed those are improved from Sims 3 but I'll pretty much take anything).

Already requested this as my birthday present from the other half, since it's close enough!

Never played with seasons in Sims3, so very interested to see how it'll change people.
 Also, a bit afraid about the two potentials deaths (if I understood the twitters gurus right.)

I wouldn't worry about the deaths. I think Ricalynn had to work very hard to get a Sim to die of the cold in TS3, and it looks like other things might happen if your Sim gets struck by lightning.

I read that there is sorta new life state. This has my interest. I enjoy the skeleton and plant sim temporary life states. I love the ghost hamster death ghost. So I am exited about this if its a notable alteration of a current life state like the rabid giant ghost hamster, or a new temporary life state like the skeleton one if that is what they mean. If not now I am excited for something new like a grim reaper type life state that exists yet can't be really played. Santa maybe? The scare crow coming to life during the fall? The giant gnome thing? Any would be cool, well except Santa. I am not a fan of Christmas. Any way this new sorta life state excites me.

I am also looking forward to the new ways to die. Those are always welcome if they don't happen too often. The catching and returning lightning thing looks fun. Can't wait for details. And new gadgets like that weather station thing are always welcomed.  As are sprinklers. And that scare crow looks fun!

Now what I am not excited about. I am defiantly not excited about the seasons themselves. I find them disruptive at least in the past. Things like gardening are important to min max in my games and winter slows that if not stops that and some skills like snowman making can only be used during certain times of year. Grrr. Well at least in older sim games.

And I am not excited that this will be a pack with little hope of fleas for sims. I want fleas! And there is no real new life state. I love those. They did such a great job with Vamps, I just wish for more content along that line. A sorta life state is not as good as an actual life state.

Lastly holidays. Not a fan in real life. I always try to work them so I can skip them in real life. I don't want them in my sim games. They were annoying in sims 3. I just don't want them. I hope I can turn them off.
