My computer shut down while my game was running. Now, it won't start.

I leave Sims running while I'm at work. For some reason, my computer decided to shut down and now the game will not start. It gave me an error message and told me to repair the game using their tool. I did run it, twice. I have put so much time into creating my Sims world and I want to recover my game.

You won't loose anything by repairing the game. If you're worried about that, then back up your Sims 4 folder to the desktop.

Go to the Electronic Arts folder [C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts] and right-click on the Sims 4 folder and copy it to the desktop.
