Alien Invasion Apocalypse Challenge [graveyard please]

An apocalypse challenge doesn't have any rule about heirs like a legacy challenge, so Elyanny could always have one or more children if you wish.

Oooh, poor Ponas! 80% is a lot of failed flirts!

Btw, I forgot to mention that I giggled at the shot of Olivia, Elyanna, and Sayann doing homework together as children.
Elyanna and Sayann are both wearing that cc hair that gave me so much trouble in my Sharebears game.
No matter how many times I went into CAS to remove it from a certain townie, she would just show up wearing it again. I had to delete it from my Mods folder, haha.

@oshizu I'm trying to keep the genetics more than going fast through the carreers, so Elyanny's blue eyes unqualified her as heir. Also, the reason Elyanny and Sayann had the CC hair as child is because they grew up with, and it apparently means they'll get naturally blue hair as teen, and I don't dare to touch it. Most of the random kids have one of thoses too, so I erased most of it.

Elyanny birthday was at a time she couldn't be enrolled in school that day. So when Yanny invited his wife in the city, she came along, and then let them alone to work on her own aspiration. Or the only step of it she could. Well, she still could work on raising her charisma.


Yalsa and Olivia started playing chess on a regular basis. Elsa had to insist to help Olivia build logic as the younger girl liked better invent stories about the pieces. Sayann liked to hang around and pretend she wasn't listening to thoses stories.




Elyanny was usually working on her owns goals upstairs with her uncle Ponas. After all, who better than Mr Solar System simself, who had trained countless athletes could help her better to be a professionnal athlete and still control her alien inheritage.




Ponas came sometimes to try to force Olivia to concentrate. It wouldn't last more than the few movements. Maybe because Sayann couldn't help to play a military march on her violin.


Maybe because they were expecting less from each other at that stage of their life, Yalsa and Olivia were now nearly unseparable. He would easiily give her some cooking tips, even when it was only how to mix a salad without letting the bowl fall. Elyanny's opinion was that it would never happen with a sandwich.


Still, maybe it was a talk that shouldn't have happened so late at night.


Sayann was inspired by her brother, and kept playing her violon most of the time. When one was the youngest and less genetically favored, it was sometimes hard to find a place in the family, and being loud helped.


Then, it was time for something most awaited, and Yalsa bake a chocolate cake for a very special occasion, and tested different instruments :


Olivia was finally a teen, and even if she seemed a bit more materialistic than before, she was also wishing for a successfull family.


Yalsa was so suprised by the sudden change, that he couldn't find anything to say, nor did he reacted to Sayann letting out a particulary strident and wrong note. Elsa thought her head would probably explode.


Olivia still choose to take a trip to the closet and get a better haircut, and then was busy answering her family's birthday wishes:


Yalsa tried to hide his troubles by playing the piano away in the basement. Despite his talks with his father, he hadn't expected the change a few years could make.


Yalsa changed his chess partner, realising his sister needed more attention. Olivia had taken a job as babysitter, and was often talking about the kids she was working with, and how things were done in differents families. Or how strict her grand-ma was. :


But Sayann was still fascinated by her violin :


Still, the dynamic were changing. The house was now filled with teens, only Sayann still a child for a few days :


And sometimes, Elyanny was feeling excluded when the two others were joking or discussing :


And the change in dynamic only grew when they were left alone:

Ahhhh, you'd mentioned earlier that you sometimes regretted that she wasn't the heir, but I didn't realize you picked heirs based on certain criteria.
I went back to look at your wonderchild....is the criteria: blue skin, blue hair, and grey eyes? Or?
How interesting that certain cc has turned out to be an indicator of future blue hair! That is definitely a useful sign for the girls!

I changed Iasonas eyes for red before starting the challenge, so I'm trying to keep red or violet eyes, and blue skin. Blue hair is also a criteria, but that can be changed so it's less important.
Yanny's eyes were violet, Yalsa are red. Sayann are violet.

For the CC hair, I don't have much of it, and even less for kids at the start of the challenge, but it seems to be an indicator. So far it worked for Iasonas's 3 kids, Yanny's 3 kids and other kids in other saves.

Did Yalsa get a makeover?  He looks good.  Olivia is a beautiful teen (as always).

I liked all the pictures of Olivia's birthday with Sayann playing violin the whole time.  It really does look like Elsa's head is going to explode in the last one.

My apologies,I'm really bad at the sharing part of this thing.
Yalsa has two hairstyles, the shoulder lengh with the bandana for sleeping, and the two colored dark blue and cyan for most outfits.

The household this update, that closely follows the previous one :


Yalsa and Olivia finally officialised their romance, after a good night sleep :


Olivia went to her first day of work. She learned a lot about education and loved every minute of it. Even if the children had curious ideas about jelly and decorations. It also conforted her a bit in her doubts about Elsa's more lax parenting.


Olivia also helped in the house, learning to cook. It would be an usefull skill to get the kids buzy a few moments. She still remembered fondly the gummy pancakes she made with her mother, and missed the lunch packs she had for school.
At least, it'll be a good skill if she could first figure out how to make fingers sandwiches without actual fingers in it.


Elsa took some time to sit down with her eldest and discuss about what he expected from the future. After all, he had doubts at one time, and he shouldn't force himself in a relationship if things didn't worked out, and that he needed to communicate a lot with his partner to make sure they'll always be on the same page and felt the same.


Elyanny was completely oblivious of the new developpement, always working out and concentrating on her future carreer. She was so close to the top.


Still, it was often hard to miss how close Yalsa and Olivia were.


School separated them, for their own good, or it was dubious any of them would get any work done. And it wasn't always easy to be a blue skinned sim in school. Elyanny was sometimes so sad over it she felt she was glowing like one of thoses sixam's aliens.


Olivia was empathic enough to be sad on her friend behalf, but Yalsa was quick to distract her, pretending he was a vampire as his sister went for a jog:


And since she was distracted enough, he dared a bolder move :


So many emotions were exhausting, and Yalsa fell for a nap, but never far from his loved one.


School work was still a must-do, and all the adults in the house helped.



Despite their various interests, the teenages girls tried to make an effort to integrate the youngest of them. After all, even if they were differents, they were a family, and Olivia shared the tips she had learned during her job.


And Yalsa tried to be nice to Sayann in his own way, by cooking her something special :


Still, everyone was buzy when Sayann finally blew her candles :


Ponas was trying to max another skill :


And Elsa did her best to do the same and ensure functional plumbing:


Yalsa was enjoying his last moments with his girlfriend, as it was soon his turn to blow some candles, becoming a good manneered and responsible young adult:



And so, that left him with a difficult conversation to have with his still teenage love, despite his sisters more or less discretely eavedropping. Where did they stood, now?

I love that Yalsa has a daytime hairdo but wears a headband to sleep.
Olivia is very pretty in your game. She and Yalsa are very sweet together. I hope Yalsa doesn't have long to wait until they're both young adults.

I need to figure a better way to sort screens... there's too many of them.

This is the household for the next 2 updates :
Elsa is the mother of Yalsa, Elyanny and Sayann, Ponas is their proud uncle, and Olivia is Yalsa's now underage love.



And we start with Yalsa being back from his work where he drowns his hearbreak and in a dire need of a shower. We'll see he's probably following a family trend.


As now adult, Yalsa helps his sister with her homeworks.


He also spends a lot of time on his homework. Too much time, and his mother finally tell him to get out and enjoy the sun as long they have it :


So he does, and start meeting random strangers. Ponas is doing the same in the background. :


Ponas meet a cute girl that's new in the neighborough :


And Elyanny meet her boyfriend and pick the most romantic location to shock some random little girl.


Strangely, the youngers girls are stuck in the basement until they're done with their homeworks.


They later went up a floor to get some fun skilling :


Yalsa's dedication allows him to get up a level in his career. He's now a full time musician :


Ponas is a romantic sim, and he's trying all he could on a new grill-cook. She then had to leave.


Meanwhile, Elsa and Sayann do an intervention at lunch to make Olivia's feel better :


It might have worked better if Elsa hadn't ran out to meet her husband and tell him all the mischief the children were up to :


So at the first occasion, Olivia went to Yalsa asking for advice with all her insecurity :

The whole family later met with Penny, who invited them out :


Sometimes, the family was just happy to be together, not doing anything special :


And others, they were busy working on school projects:



Yalsa was one morning embushed by his youngest sister who wanted help with her assignement on what she wanted to do later.


Then Geekcon came around, and Elsa and Ponas came to enjoy it. Ponas was in admiration of the numerous cosplayers :


And as he finally spotted a too lonely one, he went to introduce himself. And things took a turn for the best until the cosplayer had to leave and abandon him. Would they see each other again? Or see each other at all?

Elsa enjoyed the last of Geekcon by giving a very special show on the karaoke stage :


And Ponas mysterious cosplayer invited him for a date before he had time to take a shower or sleep :


That led to some embarassement:


Once home, Sayann went to work in the attic in hope to forget what she had witnessed:


Soon, it was Elyanny's birthday :


She didn't missed a minute to get into the athletic job that she had worked so hard for, and started training :


And she came back with a promotion on her first day of work :


Ponas spot his dear Theo Bernard next to a picnic table and, now smelling fresh, run to him


And this time, he's quick to make his intentions very clear, with a first kiss in the rain :


Still, as Ponas lack of love luck is, it seems his boyfriend has to get somewhere. He has to track him down the evening after :


And then, he barely can stop him from leaving the neighborough so he can ask a very important question :


As it should be, Ponas get rejected. But Theo tells him it's only because he wants them to know each other better and live together before taking such an important step. So, as he was very decided, Ponas left the house to live with his lover.


Promotions kept coming, now with Yalsa being a very demanded musician, and didn't care for the rain :


Then, just after Ponas departure, Yanny was seen looking very sad as he passed the house :



With Elyanny working hard, and himself on level 8 of his career, Yalsa came to see his mother and told her it was more than time she went to live with her husband.
She accepted with pleasure, and now Yalsa became the head of the house, knowing he could count on his sisters for full support :

I was surprised at how perfect Olivia's request for advice from Yalsa was!
Yes, of course, he will always love her!

The love story of romantic Ponas and his mysterious Llama Man boyfriend was so cute.
I'm glad they finally got their timing right and sail off into the sunset together. Happy days to them both!

Oh, the household is now down to four sims?
How great that Yalsa is already a Level 8 Musician! Olivia, hurry and become a young adult!!!

Yes, I couldn't have planned better Olivia's request, and I loved there was no other choice possible than "I'll forever love you" (and now I realise the screen is in french and I need to edit that)

Ponas... Since his young adult birthday I tried several times to have him find a love interest as he has the romantic trait. Often, despite the charisma skill, he was rejected and embarrassed (not always because of poor hygiene...) and everyone kept walking out on him. All the time. So when the proposition was rejected after three running after him to try to discuss, I picked the next best choice and had them move in together.

It's nice to see that romantic Ponas finally found love.  How strange that he was unlucky for so long!

It looks like you've got some empty spaces in the house now.  I hope that means we'll see some Yalsa and Olivia newboos soon (once Olivia is a young adult, of course). 

Also, I just noticed that both Elsa and Olivia maxed teen careers-- leaving them free to stay home with the kids and not have to worry about missing work to give birth or feed a baby.  That's a clever strategy with both mixologist and business management still locked.

I thought I had posted, but maybe it was juste the editing that made me believe I had. Sorry for the upcomming Seasons spam. I was in awe.

Finally, a long awaited birthday came:


As the last teen in the house, Sayann was decided to prove herself, and she decided to pick scouting. She then tinkered a lot in the basement to get her badges.


Meanwhile her siblings were still very dedicated to their career. Workaholic Yalsa didn't spend much time with Olivia, and Elyanny couldn't trust the fans shouting their love and only seeing her athleti skill.


In the still very small house, it was easy to feel crowded, the lack of intimacy preventing any personnal talk as someone would always walk on you.


But when Sayann braved the awfull weather to jog for her fitness badge :


Yalsa took the opportunity to drag his childhood best friend to the place a pirate stole his heart


He had a serious discussion with her, as a lot was expected from him. It hadn't been until he became the head of the house that Yalsa knew how much grand ma Iasonas still held power over them.


But still, the most important thing was that he loved Olivia and needed her on board for the journey to come :


She had always been a fountain of joy and happiness in his life, and he wanted her to become his wife.


Obviously, Olivia was more than on board with the idea :


As Olivia suffered from a condition where excess of happiness could kill her, they didn't said their vows on the spot, but Yalsa still carried his bride to be back to the house.



So, with absolutely no transition, we'll fast forward to a few days later :


Where Sayann is now a very pround aunt, always happy to help with Olisa.


Which helps a lot, as it's not easy to have twins with no family support. Still, Olivia was rethinking the whole matching onesies. Well, she was pretty sure she was holding Yavia, right?


As the girls grew up in identical toddlers running everywhere, she decided to do her best, between hairdo and clothing to differenciate them. And realised after a few hours that it was impossible to confuse clingy Olisa and Independant Yavia unless they were sleeping.


Elyanny and Yalsa kept commuting together, bringing promotions and raise, and ducking paparazzis.


Then one magical night, the quality of the silence changed as the fluffy cloud unloaded their cold shipment and changed the way everything looked:


Olisa run to her mother to ask about the cold feathers :


The cold infiltrated itself inside the house, but nothing some warmth clothing couldn't fight, and Olivia returned to the more ingratefull parenting task, such as potty trainning.


And soon, Olivia woke up with a pressing need:


The need to tell her futur husband they would soon have another addition to the house.

It's not obvious in any screen, but the twins have their mother's brown eyes. It doesn't keep Yalsa to love them and spend as much time he can with them.


As Olisa and Yavia finally went to sleep, their mother was determinate to teach one of her favorite childhood activiity to Elyanny : snowpal making.



The landscape was transformed but family kept coming around. Yalsa had the feeling his grand ma took pretense of shoveling snow in his backyard to watch him closely and make sure he wasn't breaking any of the rules she had put in place. He had given her a full file about sim music and way to enjoy it. She had allowed him to listen on what he wanted, and play the way he wanted.


But he had more important in mind, and after the rain, he made Olivia brave the cold to take a look at the snowned in pirate ship.


They walked to the frozen river, and Yalsa started reciting his vows, being very serious as he promised her to be kind, protective and faithfull, and he hoped the excess of happinness from the wedding wouldn't be dangerous with the baby on it's way and wear off before the birth.


Olivia leaned forward and whispered that if he wouldn't learn to relax soon, she would shoot him with her ship's bubble canon.


He agreed and soon after the ring exchange, they had their first kiss as husband and wife.


Yavia asked if she could come to the wedding next time, please, please, please, please..


After makxing scoutism in 4 or 5 days, Sayann was able to escape the birthday photo as she became a young adult. She then came back from her first shift with a promotion. Maybe one day she'll be able to visit her grand-mother's birth planet?


She also used the very well insolated space suit to try her hand at making snowpals. After all, she was still in the test stage of her career, so it was sort of doing her job to test things in extreme weather conditions.


Yalsa was the one to reveal the big new to Olisa, but she was clearly missing his point


Yavia, as tactfull as any toddler, asked her mother if the balloon in her belly allowed her to fly like aunt Sayann, and if she could come with her in the stars.


Between two days of work, Sayann enjoyed taking time for her nieces, reading for Olisa, or accepting to show Yavia how to be an astronaut.



Then another tradition of Olivia's childhood rolled around with Winterfest, and the love of food she inherited from her father pushed her to cook a grandmeal for everyone in the house. The smell seemed to have attracted people from as far as Brindleton bay.


Still, Sayann had to work out a lot to make sure she would fit in her space suit.


Yalsa and Elyanny then went to work, the first one for a solstice concert, and the other for a winterfest match


They were very alarmed to see an old man talking to the toddlers, but Olivia said it was Father Winter, who would give them gift


But the old man refused despite the girls asking in the most polite fashion, and Yalsa decided to fight him to have broken his daughters heart like that. He didn't got more than a new ennemy, but felt satisfied he had done his best.
