Front view of the new legacy house.
I was browsing the gallery for inspiration and came across this base by
peacemaker_ic that was just so pretty I decided eh, my building skills can't make it.
So I downloaded it and furnished it. :3 It's not that pricy, around $30,000~ if I remember correctly.
The back view of the legacy house.
1st floor top view.
2nd floor top view.
Marcus now lives in a shack away from the main house that is sort of closer to the beach to save walking time to the fishing spots. Now that he's got Gunther though, I plan to expand it slightly in the near future to better accomodate his boyfriend. Having Gunther living in such squalor would make me feel bad.
But for now, I just swaped out the single bed to a double. Once there's more $$$ more renovations can be done.
Main entrance to the house leads into the foyer. I didn't know how to decorate it and it was so big I decided to just make it into a 'music' space.
Nobody in the household really uses it at the moment, but no doubt when more musical sims come along down the legacy it should come in useful.
To the side of the foyer is the living room. I stuck in a cat tree there because I had thought of adopting a cat into the family, but then Gunther happened and there's no space for a pet unless I decide to mod/cheat.
Maybe in the next generation.
From the foyer, straight ahead, leads to the dining room-bar-kitchen.
You can tell how much Ying likes red huh?
I wanted to decorate the kitchen more with more 'kitchen' stuff but alas, the budget does not allow for it so all that decor and clutter will have to wait.
Going down the corridor/link-way between the living and dining room leads to the study.
All the focus-boosting decor (from Seiji's job) for your logic skill building needs!!
There's a small room within the study that serves as Ying's art room. But everyone else is welcomed anytime!
It has all the easels, art supplies and inspiring decor for your creative needs!
Moving to the 2nd floor, here's the Master (Ying & Seiji's) bedroom.
The babies stay in the same room. It makes it easier for Ying & Seiji to attend to them in the middle of the night should the situation ever arise.
The Master Bedroom's en-suite bathroom.
Fancy isn't it?
Here's the nursery / toddler's room.
Colourful, and some toddler / child skilling items.
Here's Jia's bedroom. She gets a double bed and doesn't have to share.
One of the perks of being the first-born.
Jia's little study space & her closet.
Once again, I wanted to have more decor / clutter stuff but no budget. So it'll have to wait.
Here's the twin's bedrooms. I've prepared it beforehand for them when then age up to kids.
They're sharing, but they're allow to decorate their side of the room as they wish.
Their taste in interior design might change once they age up to kids but for now I just settled for a simple blue-pink style.
They'll get free reign once they're old enough.
Their study tables.
Here is Rachid's room. A sleek, neat black and white style. Just like he likes it.
He also has his own bathroom.
The interior of the shared bathroom used by the kids.
Rachid's en-suite bathroom is also similar in layout.
The legacy house has a basement which isn't much to look at. But it's where the gym is located.
It has everything needed to serve the family's fitness needs.
Rachid spends quite a lot of time down here, second only to Marcus. Cause Marcus likes to sneak down here to work out whenever I'm not looking.
He does it enough that I've stopped caring and set his new aspiration to Bodybuilder. He'll probably complete it soon.
And then there's this random inaccessible room I made to store all the potions for the legacy because I have no idea where to keep them. I'll figure something out eventually.
But till then, that's all for the house!
