Oh, gosh! I've been skimming right over the spoilers not realizing you've updated! Oops! Well, I had a fun binge-read, and I'm glad to be caught up now. Brant makes a very cute pregnant guy, although that weight belt does look pretty absurd over his belly. I admire his diligence in seeking out mentees. I almost never go down that branch of the athlete career because the daily task is so time-consuming! Good for you, Brant!
Rosie is just too adorable for words, but the stray dogs everywhere are cracking me up. I can't believe they got in the house!

Mainly so people (myself included) don't have to scroll through the screenshot heavy update posts to get the later posts.

lol. And yeah, I usually pick the other branch too, but Brant is already in the bodybuilder branch from the beginning so I can't exactly do anything about that.
And please, credit for that room goes to EA, since it's one of the styled rooms. All I did was add a bassinet and a toddler potty.

Ah ok.  I ask because it is easy to miss.  You can link chapters so folks can find them as well.  That's what tends to be the norm here.  But if it's easier to use the spoilers, will just have to remember to click them XD

Would you consider maybe putting one picture before the spoiler? You'd still eliminate most of the scrolling, but would give unobservant readers like me a big, clear signal that "There is a chapter here!" I'd find it very helpful. Update time! I think I may actually instead do a schedule of 1 week of this, 1 week of one of my vamp chicks, instead of 1 week of this, 1 week of each of my vamp chicks, so as not to neglect this too long.

Once his husband is home, I send Brant to the Saloon with 1 purpose in mind: befriend and adopt the Mayor. I've decided I'll be bringing Whiskers and Rosie along through all 10 gens, using treats to keep them young.

It doesn't take long to establish a friendship, and immediately after, Brant adopts him! A cat condo and litter box get added to the house to accommodate him.

Jackie was dangerously close to passing out, so I had Brant start a Powerhouse meeting so she could take care of her needs while he's away. He still needs to level fitness anyway.

Once yoga ended, he had to head home because his husband had work. Jackie was quite famished, and seemed more interested in playing in her food instead of eating it, so I bought a high chair and had Brant put her in it, which got her to eat.

Then he tells Jackie a bedtime story.

All that gardening makes Brant a filthy boy, so he takes a shower. Then its eating, followed by sleeping for him.

I have Brant take a vacation because he and his husband have overlapping shifts today meaning an Nanny would have to be hired, costing me a point, and also because he's exhausted and would likely pass out the second he got home. Before I have him sleep though, I have him level vamp lore a little. Only to 3, so he can buy plasma packs.

Why? Because I'm gonna move in a vampire, and they'll need nourishment. I'll use free days to turn several of the pre-made ladies that I consider cute enough to possibly marry a future heir to. This'll stop problems with not having an eligible spouse later on. If I turn at least 8, I'll ensure all future heirs have a potential wife no matter what. I'm unconcerned about having vamp heirs because VL is easy to max, so I can easily have them cured before they begin accumulating points.

Brent started a painting an hour before work, but luckily having his husband queue up a kiss action made him cancel it, didn't even have to actually do it, just queue it up.

Brant puts Jackie in the high chair because she's super hungry and isn't getting the food he laid out for her on her own, and I don't want a challenge fail, especially not this early. She finally eats.

As expected, Brent comes home promoted. I add the canvas rack he got to the "painting room".

Hey Travis, I see you have a job you shouldn't. Y'know, I've realized this isn't due to a bug, like I'd assumed before, but merely an annoying "feature". Y'see, the game sometimes randomly changes the jobs of unplayed sims. It seems to happen much too often in my opinion, and I wish it wouldn't happen to sims in households in the "My Households" tab, where I always put all the pre-mades.

Anyway, I've sent Brant to Villa Bovine to find a vamp townie to move in. I find you'll often find vamps wandering FH at night, so I'm confident I'll be able to meet one.

I use the create a club feature (without actually creating a club, since that'd violate the challenge rules) to figure out if any townie vamps have been generated and who if so, and it turns out the mixologist here at Villa Bovine, Sara Srinivasan, is one! That makes things easy. Brant talks to her. I didn't think the game generated elder vamps, but I guess it does.

He quickly befriends her and she moves in. Side note: I just noticed there are several mixology career rewards around the bar here.

Facts about Sara, now that she's moved in:
-She has the chief of mischief aspiration.
-She has level 4 cooking and level 7 mixology.
-Her traits are childish, outgoing, goofball, and spice hound.
-She's a prime vamp that somehow has sun immunity (not that I'm complaining there), in addition to garlic immunity, vampire creation (thank gosh), and eternally welcome. Her weaknesses are sloppy drinker, withered stomach, and fitful sleep. A bit odd that she has 3 weaknesses at her rank, but since she has the best power in the game too I'm not complaining.

To get his daily task done, Brant goes to the Fitbox with Sara and selects workout together, then mentors her. Sadly he can't do  it long since she's old, but once done he's sleepy anyway, so I have 'em go home and make a mental note to take Brent instead next time.

He reads Jackie to sleep once he's home, after tending the garden.
