Hooray! Oh, I'm so glad you found a solution to the "Everyone in town is my cousin" problem! And that it was such a nice, simple one. Willem is adorable, and so enthusiastic! Who needs memories, anyway?
I just love how down-to-business Lyanna is. She sees an opening and she gets it done! I'm excited for an heir, too!

Yay, Lyanna found a nice guy! Childish is not a bad trait at all, except he may spend time with the kids' toys when you wished he was doing something else.
I agree with everyone that Willem's cute! A real catch! Good choice, Lyanna!

Thank you for the explanation about your narrative. It all sounds so convincing that I got bewildered. Blame your good storytelling! :D
I wish you the best of luck with MCCC. I'm dying to try it in my legacy--I'm thinking now that I'll wait until later than ask you, hehe.

Back to your story, I've missed Eddard and I love that shot of Eddard on the sidewalk, looking wildly overjoyed that his daughter found a spouse prospect! Haha
Looking forward to more about Lyanna's household, especially...well, everything!

Great that the freshly created and added to town sims had an in-story explanation, and how you weave everything in your stories.

Did you randomize the traits, or did you pick them?

Childish in an uncontrolled game isn't bad unless there's a broken dollhouse or if you need someone else to pick the toys on the floor, but family oriented may be a good balance.

Ahahahaha, love it!  He's so cute ^^  I think childish sims can be fun lol  Also love how you wove him being a newly created Sim into the story.  That's awesome ^^

Thank you! I wish I could take credit for his appearance, but all I did was give him new hair and more of a butt. He's the first sim I've played with the childish trait.

Thank you so much! Glad you're liking Lyanna as much as I did.

I am on house 007 and to be honest, I am still trying to figure out MCCC. There are just so many modules and so many options. It's been less of an issue with the later houses.

Glad you liked Eddard's reappearance!

Thank you!

I have been using a trait randomizer. Actually several. I don't have a favorite. With aspirations, I actively choose what those will be unless the rules specify or prohibit me changing them. For the most part, I can change the aspirations up to maximize points. As I wrote to @Shewolf13 this was my first time with the childish trait.

Journal Entry, Lyanna Holiday Flint

I got married today.

Shireen and Cassana both called me before the wedding. They’re concerned I’m moving too fast. That I don’t really know Willem. That I’m confusing the Project with my real life.

I get that.

But what they don’t seem to get is that everything is lining up so perfectly.

I think the wedding was more for my family than me or Willem. He seems super casual about stuff and I kept on thinking how we could have put the money and time to more efficient use.

We invited Nathan and Felicity Lewis. I have no idea what Felicity was thinking with the dress she was wearing. She seems so different from when we were in school together.

I kept on questioning the utility in spending the money on having a wedding when we could have just said our vows in the yard.

Maybe Mom was right, though. When Willem and I said our vows and kissed, it really did feel special.

And it was nice to see everybody and share the day with them.

Also observatory woohoo was everything I thought it would be and more.

Wow, I missed a good bit there!  Loved the whirlwind romance!  It was so funny when she was just babbling about him not being related to her as he was trying to get a word in.  I thought for sure he was going to tell her he was already married or something!

What a lovely wedding! So fun to get the whole family together, and I'm sure her mother is right that she'll love having the memories to look back on.
I really dig Lyanna's choice of wedding dress!

HA! I didn't even think of that. Kind of wish I had now...

Journal Entry, Willem Flint

I went from being beyond happy to freaked out in a ten-minute time span.

When I woke up the day after our wedding, I saw that Lyanna had moved furniture around. In and of itself, that’s fine. I really don’t care so much where the kitchen counter is as long as there is a kitchen counter.

There was a brand new bookcase too.

“Yeah, that came this morning while you were sleeping in.”

“It came with the books too! This is great. I’ve been wanting to read Crisis Barn and Where the Boardwalk Ends.”

Lyanna got a funny look on her face. I thought it was about the toddler book, but she's said over and over she doesn’t mind that I have the childish trait.

But when I started perusing the shelves all I saw were level 1 skill books.

“You were saying how you wanted to learn stuff. This is just so that you don’t get distracted by fiction.”

She bought an easel too.

I shrugged it off when she kept on talking about how great thoughtful showers were and how maybe I should take one. And she seemed disappointed when I just had a regular shower. Right after, she invited me to cloudgaze.

I got inspired and started to paint. And it was all good till her mom and dad came over. I didn’t catch every word, but they kept on talking about this mysterious “Project” and how great it was that I was on board.

“Uh, what’s this project you all keep talking about?

Phone conversation between Valeria Holiday and Tobias Lentz

Tobias: Wow. So she didn’t tell him anything about it before they got married?

Valeria: Nothing.

Tobias: Should I hold off sending my wedding present?

Valeria: No, I think it’s going to be fine. Eddard sat down with Willem and he explained it to him. And then Eddard gave Lyanna a talking to.

Tobias: You don’t sound happy.

Valeria: Eddard says I’m worrying too much. He says Lyanna was contrite, but she’s always been able to twist him around her little finger. He spent five minutes talking to her about how this was wrong and then the next hour letting her take selfies with her and pictures of us.

I don’t think Lyanna gets why not telling Willem what he was signing up for was a bad idea, that ethically this was a very poor decision.

Tobias: Having a strong sense of ethics seems like it should be a necessity for someone in the Science career who will be doing sim-subject testing.

Valeria: Exactly.

Or, you know, maybe ethics just get in the way of scientific progress . . . ? Either way, I hope Willem's not too upset when he finds out what he's signed up for with The Project. *gulp*

Psh, Willem got a beautiful wife, a migratory kitchen, and the chance to make great memories to replace the ones he seems to be missing.  So she forgot one tiny detail?  I mean, is the whole overriding concept of their lives together and the secret tasks he's being set to really that significant compared to all that she's given him?  ;=)
A lovely update, as usual!

Aww...Hopefully Eddard was able to explain everything to Willem's satisfaction.

Also, in the previous update, I love how Lyanna confided to The Board how she'd rather be making babies with Willem than having a wedding, and they responded by reminding her of her responsibilities.  Too funny!

Willem is pretty chill. I think he'd just like to know what the plan is.

Thanks! He's pretty easy going, but you know, like he just wants a kitchen counter and he doesn't care where it is, I think he'd like to be told what's going on.
