Strange Sims enter my home uninvited

At least once a day, a strange Sim comes to my house. Unless I lock the door specifically — naming the Sims who can open the door — these strangers will waltz right in uninvited and make themselves at home. When I pop open the interaction menu, I don’t get anything that allows me to ask them to leave or shoo them. The lock ‘everyone but my household’ doesn’t even keep them out. This only started happening after I moved to a new house in the same town.

Any ideas?

Check if you have roommate services turned off. It can be done using smartphone ->real estate ->roommate services.
